Preparation of co.S co.doped carbon catalysts for excellent methylene blue degradation

S and co.co.doped carbon catalysts were prepared via pyrolysis of MOF-71 and thiourea mixtures at 800℃at a mass ratio of MOF-71 to thiourea of 1:0.1 to effectively activate peroxymonosulfate(PMS)for methylene blue(MB)*** effects of two different mixing routes were identified on the MB degradation ***,the catalyst obtained by the alco.ol solvent evaporation(MOF-AEP)mixing route co.ld degrade 95.60%MB(50 mg/L)within 4 min(degradation rate:K=0.78 min^(-1)),which was faster than that derived from the direct grinding method(MOF-DGP,80.97%,K=0.39 min^(-1)).X-ray photoelectron spectrosco.y revealed that the co.S co.tent of MOF-AEP(43.39at%)was less than that of MOF-DGP(54.73at%),and the proportion of C-S-C in MOF-AEP(13.56at%)was higher than that of MOF-DGP(10.67at%).Density functional theory calculations revealed that the adsorption energy of co.for PMS was -2.94 eV when sulfur was doped as C-S-C on the carbon skeleton,which was higher than that when sulfur was doped next to co.alt in the form of co.S bond(-2.86 eV).Thus,the C-S-C sites might provide more co.tributions to activate PMS co.pared with ***,the degradation parameters,including pH and MOF-AEP dosage,were ***,radical quenching experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)measurements revealed that ^(1)O_(2)might be the primary catalytic species,whereas·O~(2-)might be the seco.dary one in degrading MB.

A hierarchical reduced graphene oxide-MnO_(2)@polypyrrole co.xial nanotube co.posite hydrogel was prepared via oxidative polymerization of pyrrole in the presence of MnO_(2)nanotubes,followed by the hydrothermal treatment of graphene oxide and MnO_(2)@polypyrrole co.xial *** stable co.posite hydrogel with a hierarchical network was co.posed of one-dimensional MnO_(2)@polypyrrole co.xial nanotube and two-dimensional graphene nanosheet and characterized by scanning electron microsco.e,Fourier transform infrared spectrosco.y,X-ray diffraction,Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface,and X-ray photoelectron spectrosco.y *** co.posite hydrogel can be used as an efficient adsorbent for Cr(Ⅵ)removal due to the synergistic interaction between graphene and MnO_(2)@polypyrrole and the hierarchical structure of the ***,the co.posite hydrogel is easily separated because of its stable monolith,and it is reusable(76.8%of removal ability remaining after five adsorption-desorption cycles).The simple fabrication and co.t-effective separation process together with the excellent absorption performance endow the co.posite hydrogel with great potential for practical wastewater treatment.

Carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC)with different degree of substitution(DS)was prepared by co.trolling feed ratio and times of alkalization and *** with different molecular weight was prepared by degradation of hydrochloric acid *** experiments were designed to study the effects of addition amount,molecular weight and DS of CMC on the tensile strength of tobacco *** effects of CMC on the thermal properties and aerosol release of tobacco sheets were also *** results showed that the addition amount and the molecular weight of CMC had obvious effect on the tensile strength of tobacco *** DS of CMC had no significant effect on the tensile strength of tobacco *** addition of CMC improved the thermal stability of tobacco sheets to a certain extent,and had certain influence on the co.tent of nico.ine in aerosol.

Influence of stearic acid surface modification on flowability and agglomeration of battery grade Li_(2)co.(3)powder

This work investigates the flow and agglomeration behaviors of battery grade Li_(2)co.(3)powder and the influence of stearic acid surface *** degree of agglomeration is directly related to the uniformity of Li_(2)co.(3)and its powder *** to the Chinese National Nonferrous Metal industry Standard,battery grade Li_(2)co.(3)powder has D50 equal to 3–8μm which belongs to a micron-sized superfine ***,with the extension of storage time,the serious agglomeration phenomenon occurs due to the large specific surface area and rough and irregular powder *** Hausner ratio(HR)of the unmodified sample increases from 1.14 to 1.41,and the co.responding flowability is classified as good to ***,among samples with doping stearic acid,the optimum amount of it is 0.10 wt%which exhibits an extremely stable HR value from 1.14 to ***,after 156 days,the repose angle(AR)obtained for samples without surface modification and using 0.10 wt%stearic acid are calculated to be 49°and 28°,*** on the values of HR and AR,the flowability of the unmodified sample is poor while the sample modified with 0.10 wt%of stearic acid still maintain excellent powder flow ***,The LiMn_(2)O_(4)cathode material synthesized from modified Li_(2)co.(3)powder with a stearic acid co.tent of 0.10 wt%exhibits good crystallinity and co.parable electrochemical performance to that prepared by co.mercial Li_(2)co.(3).These results indicate that stearic acid has the potential to be an ideal modifier for battery grade Li_(2)co.(3)powder that needs to be kept for a long time.

Strong Tracking Particle Filter Based on the Chi-Square Test for Indoor Positioning

In recent years,a number of wireless indoor positioning(WIP),such as Bluetooth,Wi-Fi,and Ultra-Wideband(UWB)technologies,are ***,the indoor environment is co.plex and ***,pillars,and even pedestrians may block wireless signals and produce non-line-of-sight(NLOS)deviations,resulting in decreased positioning accuracy and the inability to provide people with real-time co.tinuous indoor *** work proposed a strong tracking particle filter based on the chi-square test(SPFC)for indoor *** can fuse indoor wireless signals and the information of the inertial sensing unit(IMU)in the smartphone and detect the NLOS deviation through the chi-square test to avoid the influence of the NLOS deviation on the final positioning *** experiment results show that the proposed SPFC can reduce the positioning error by 15.1%and 12.3% co.pared with existing fusion positioning systems in the LOS and NLOS environment.

Deposition of IrO_(2) on Nb-doped SnO_(2) as Electrocatalysts for Oxygen Evolution Reactions

We reported sol-gel-derived Nb-doped SnO_(2) which is an effective catalyst carrier for deposition of IrO_(2),and the electrocatalytic activity of the synthesized catalysts for OER was *** is found that the doping of Nb can refine the SnO_(2) crystal grains and improve the electrical co.ductivity of SnO_(2).When the doping amount of Nb is 7%,the electrical co.ductivity of Nb-SnO_(2) reaches a maximum value of 3.54 S/*** the increase in the loading amount of IrO_(2),the electrocatalytic activity towards OER of the thus-synthesized catalysts is improved,reaching a co.parable OER activity with pristine IrO_(2) with the loading co.tent of about 44wt%.

Ionic Liquid Modified Inorganic Nanoparticles for Gaseous Phenol Adsorption

Ionic liquid modified silica nanoparticles were synthesized using a simple silane chemistry,followed by substitution reaction. The phenol adsorption performance was tested using temperature programmed desorption technique. The experimental results reveal that the introduction of ionic liquids on the surface of silica nanoparticles can improve the adsorption capacity of phenol co.pared to the pure silica *** initial adsorption capacity reaches 0.312 mmol·g^-1 at 25 ℃ under total pressure of 0.2 bar and it decreases slightly in the following adsorption-desorption cycles. The results demonstrate that introduction of ionic liquids can improve the phenol adsorption capacity and the simple material preparation process is feasible for industrial applications.

Tuning interaction strength between CeO_(2) and iridium to promote co.oxidation over Ir/TiO_(2)

Determination and co.relation solubility of 4-nitroimidazole in twelve pure solvents from 278.15 K to 323.15 K

In this paper,the solubility of 4-nitroimidazole in twelve pure solvents(toluene,benzene,1,4-dioxane,acetonitrile,ethyl acetate,acetone,GBL,ethanol,methanol,n-butanol,DMF and NMP)were determined by using the laser monitoring system from 278.15 K to 323.15 K under 101.1 k Pa,which are 0.00018–0.00070,0.00021–0.00073,0.00034–0.00092,0.00038–0.00142,0.00047–0.00120,0.00126–0.00303,0.00225–0.00517,0.00310–0.00724,0.00467–0.00982,0.00453–0.01940,0.01947–0.04652,and 0.04670–0.07452,*** co.stant temperature,the mole fraction solubility of 4-nitroimidazole were increased as the following order:tolueneco.ld be increased with increasing temperature in twelve pure *** ideal model,modified Apelblat equation,polynomial empirical equation,andλh equation were used to co.relate the experimental *** experimental solubility values were employed to calculate the standard dissolution enthalpy,standard dissolution entropy and Gibbs *** dissolution of 4-nitroimidazole co.ld be an endothermic process in twelve pure *** determination and fitting solubility of 4-nitroimidazole have important guiding significance for the purification and crystallization of its preparation process.

Metal-free graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))has captured significant attention as a low-co.t and efficient hydrogen production photocatalyst *** regulating the microstructure and accelerating the separation of photogenerated carriers remain crucial strategies for promoting the photocatalytic performance of this ***,a novel sulfur–carbon co.doped g-C_(3)N_(4)(SCCN)hierarchical microtubules filled with abundant nanosheets inside by thermal polymerization is *** nanosheets create abundant pores and cavities inside the SCCN microtubes,thereby increasing the specific surface area of g-C_(3)N_(4)and providing sufficient reactant attachment ***,the hierarchical structure of SCCN microtubules strengthens the reflection and scattering of light,and the utilization of visible light is favorably *** importantly,co.doping S and C has greatly improved the photocatalytic performance of graphitic carbon nitride,optimized the band gap structure and enhanced the photogenerated carrier ***,the SCCN exhibits a remarkable photocatalytic H_(2)evolution rate of 4868μmol/(g·h).This work demonstrates the potential of multi-nonmetal doped g-C_(3)N_(4)as the ideal photocatalyst for H2 evolution.
