A new type of adjustable nozzle with an annulus clearance between the surfaces of a revolved solid and the matched hole was analyzed, which contained matching parts, regulating parts, guiding elements, and sealing part. The general regulating function of the adjustable nozzle was derived and the regulating and matching characteristics were also analyzed. Through the analysis, it was concluded that the matching-profile curve of either the revolved body or matched hole should be chosen as a straight line in order to keep the linear regulating feature. Moreover, the multi-annulus-clearance nozzle was designed, and some experiments were carried out on preparing budesonide particles with the nozzle. According to the experimental results, it was proved that the annulus nozzles is practical in preparing micro-particles by supercritical fluid precipitation method.

AIM: To investigate the effect of polydatin (PD), a resveratrol glucoside, on mast cell degranulation and antiallergic activity. METHODS: After the rats were orally sensitized with ovalbumin (OVA) for 48 d and underwent PD treatment for 4 d, all the rats were stimulated by 100 mg/mL OVA for24 h and then sacrificed for the following experiments. The small intestines from all the groups were prepared for morphology examination by hematoxylin and eosin staining. We also used a smooth muscle organ bath to evaluate the motility of the small intestines. The OVA-specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) production and interleu-kin-4 (IL-4) levels in serum or supernatant of intestinal mucosa homogenates were analyzed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Using toluidine blue stain, the activation and degranulation of isolated rat peritoneal mast cells (RPMCs) were analyzed. Release of histamine from RPMCs was measured by ELISA, and regulation of PD on intracellular Ca 2+ mobilization was investigated by probing intracellular Ca 2+ with fluo-4 fluo-rescent dye, with the signal recorded and analyzed. RESULTS: We found that intragastric treatment with PD significantly reduced loss of mucosal barrier integrity in the small intestine. However, OVA-sensitization caused significant hyperactivity in the small intestine of allergic rats, which was attenuated by PD administration by 42% (1.26 ± 0.13 g vs OVA 2.18 ± 0.21 g, P < 0.01). PD therapy also inhibited IgE production (3.95 ± 0.53 ng/mL vs OVA 4.53 ± 0.52 ng/mL, P < 0.05) by suppressing the secretion of Th2-type cytokine, IL-4, by 34% (38.58 ± 4.41 pg/mLvs OVA 58.15 ± 6.24 pg/mL, P < 0.01). The ratio of degranulated mast cells, as indicated by vehicles (at least five) around the cells, dramatically increased in the OVA group by 5.5 fold (63.50% ± 15.51% vs phosphate-buffered saline 11.15% ± 8.26%, P < 0.001) and fell by 65% after PD treatment (21.95% ± 4.37% vs OVA 63.50% ± 15.51%, P < 0.001). Based on the survey of customer satisfaction,the authors found existing problems in inspection process of the food safety monitoring laboratory A( including the whole process from receiving samples to issue of inspection report),and determined solutions using flow chart supplied by sig sigma( 6σ) theory. Through comparing overall effect before and after improvement of the inspection process,it is proved that 6σmanagement theory is a new effective management tool for eliminating errors,simplifying process,and meeting requirements of customers to the maximal extent.

[Objective] The research aimed to establish a rapid detection method for Shigella. [Method] Combining immunomagnetic separation technology with ATP bioluminescence technology, a new kind of fast and accurate ATP bioluminescence magnetic enzyme immunoassay technique for Shigella was established. [Result] Using ATP bioluminescence magnetic enzyme immunoassay technique to detect standard solution for Shigella （ATCC 25931 ）, result showed that correlation coefficient between relative light intensity detected by instrument and bacteria concentration detec- ted by culture counting method was 0.981 1. Moreover, relation curve between relative light intensity and Shigella concentration was drawn. [ Conclusion] The method had a high detection speed and accuracy, and could be used for the rapid detection of pathogen in food and environment.

Determination of Rhodamine B in Food Using HPLCUV Method

[ Objective] The aim was to establish a method for the determination of Rhodamine B in food by HPLC-UV. [ Metkod] Rhodamine B was extracted with acetone/hexane from food samples. After concentrated and purified by alumina cartridge, the Rhodamine B content in the food was determined by using high performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet visible detector. [ Result] Within tile concentration range of 0.005 - 2.000 mg/kg, the peak area of Rhodamine B presented good linear relation with the concentration, and the related coefficient was 0.999 98. With high average recovery rate, the detection limit of the method was 0.005 mg/kg[ Concision] It is a fast and accurate method with high sensitivity to detect Rhodamine B in food.

This study was to establish a molecular identification method to distinguish Dermacentor nuttalli(D. nuttalli) and Dermacentor marginatus(D. marginatus),and to study their phylogenetic relationship. The ticks were collected from domestic animals in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region for morphological identification,then their genomic DNAs were isolated for amplifying mitochondrial 16 S rRNA and cytochrome oxidase subunit I gene(COI). The phylogenetic tree was constructed based on the sequencing results of PCR products by employing Mega 5. 0 and Mrbayes 3. 2 for homology analysis. Clustering analysis PCR product for 16 S rRNA from both D. marginatus and D. nuttalli was clustered together with their respective 16 S rRNA sequences previously accessed in GenBank,and that for COI gene as well. These are basically identical with morphological identification results. Our results indicate that morphological identification,combined with molecular markers,would be a simple and accurate method for distinguishing D. nuttalli and D. marginatus.

Three New Chromone Derivatives Produced by Phomopsis sp. HNY29-2B from Acanthus ilicifolius Linn.

Three new chromone derivatives, phomochromenones A-C （1-3）, and one known chaetocyclinone B （4） were obtained from the cultures ofPhomopsis sp. HNY29-2B isolated from the mangrove Acanthus ilicifolius Linn., which was collected from the South China Sea. Their structures were determined by the analysis of 1D NMR and 2D NMR as well as mass spectroscopic data. The absolute configurations of I and 2 were assigned by quantum chemi- cal calculations of the electronic circular dichroism （ECD） spectra. Compound 3 is the third example of alkaloids possessing the unique chromeno [3,2-c] pyridine nucleus. In the bioactivity assay, compound 4 showed cytotoxicity against human prostate cancer cell lines （PC-3 and DU145 cells） with the IC50 values of 8.13 and 3.59 μmol/L, respectively.

Carbon Emissions Embodied in China’s International Trade of Textiles and Clothing

International trade of textiles and clothing has numerous environmental implications, such as carbon leakage. In order to estimate the CO2 emissions embodied in China's imports and exports of textiles and clothing, an empirical analysis was carried out with environmental input-output analysis (EIOA) method using the most recent data available. The results indicate that China is a net exporter of embodied CO2 emissions on account of its international trade of textiles and clothing. The amount of the net exported embodied CO2 emissions increases from 110 million metric tons(Mt) of CO2 in 2002 to 280 Mt of CO2 in 2011. In particular, United States, Japan, and European Union transfer to China 339 Mt of CO2, 291 Mt of CO2 and 396 Mt of CO2 respectively during the period of 2002 -2011.

Determination of Ultratrace Amounts of Copper(Ⅱ) in Water Samples by Electrothermal Atomic Absorption Spectrometry After Cloud Point Extraction

A novel approach was developed for the determination of ultratrace amounts of copper in water samples by using electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry （ETAAS） after cloud point extraction （ CPE ）. 1-（ 2-Pyridylazo ） -2- naphthol was used as the chelating reagent and Triton X-114 as the mieellar-forming surfactant. CPE was conducted in a pH 8. 0 medium at 40 ℃ for 10 rain. After the separation of the phases by contrifugafion, the surfactant-rieh phase was diluted with 1 mL of a methanol solution of 0. 1 mol/L HNO3. Then 20μL of the diluted surfactant-rieh phase was injected into the graphite furnace for atomization in the absence of any matrix modifier. Various experimental conditions that affect the extraction and atomization processes were optimized. A detection limit of 5 ng/L was obtained after preconeentration. The linear dynamic range of the copper mass concentration was found to be 0-2.0 ng/mL, and the relative standard deviation was found to be less than 3. 1% for a sample containing 1.0 ng/mL Cu （ Ⅱ ）. This developed method was successfully applied to the determination of uhratraee amounts of Cu in drinking water, tap water, and seawater samples.
