WRKY transcription factors play essential roles during leaf ***,the mechanisms by which they regulate this process remains largely ***,we identified the transcription factor WRKY75 as a positive regulator during leaf *** of WRKY75 caused a delay in agetriggered leaf senescence,whereas overexpression of WRKY75 markedly accelerated this *** of senescence-associated genes(SAGs)was suppressed in WRKY75 mutants but increased in WRKY75-overexpressing *** analysis demonstrated that WRKY75 directly associates with the promoters of SAG12 and SAG29,to activate their ***,GAI and RGL1,two DELLA proteins,can suppress the WRKY75-mediated activation,thereby attenuating SAG expression during leaf *** analyses showed that GAI gain-of-function or RGL1 overexpression can partially rescue the accelerated senescence phenotype caused by WRKY75 ***,WRKY75 can positively regulate WRKY45 expression during leaf *** data thus imply that WRKY75 may positively modulate age-triggered leaf senescence through the gibberellin-mediated signaling pathway。

Peptide transport is important for plant tissues where rapid proteolysis occurs,especially during germination and senescence,to enhance redistribution of organic nitrogen(N).However,the biological role of peptide transporters is poorly investigated in *** characterized the function of the peptide transporter OsNPF8.1 of rice nitrate transporter 1/peptide transporter family(NPF).Ectopic expression of OsNPF8.1 in yeast revealed that OsNPF8.1 encoded a high-affinity di-/tri-peptide transporter,and the osnpf8.1 mutants had a lower uptake rate of the fluorescent-labelled dipeptide c in leaves of rice *** assays showed that OsNPF8.1 was highly expressed in mesophyll cells and vascular parenchyma cells,but not detected in root hairs and *** of OsNPF8.1 was induced by N deficiency,drought,Na Cl and abscisic acid,and kept at a high level in senescing *** N deficiency conditions,compared with the wild type Zhonghua 11,the osnpf8.1 mutants grew slower at the seedling stage,and had lower grain yield and lower N content in the *** contrast,OsNPF8.1-over-expressing rice(OsNPF8.1-OE)grew faster at the seedling stage and had a higher grain *** osnpf8.1 seedlings were less tolerant to salt and drought *** results suggested that stress-induced organic N transportation mediated by OsNPF8.1 might contribute to balance plant growth and tolerate to salt/drought stress and N-deficiency.

BACKGROUNDANDOBJECTIVE: To characterize the range of retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) and standard automated perimetry damage in eyes with large vertical cup-disc ratio (VCDR). PATIENTS AND METHODS: Complete examination, standard automated perimetry, scanning laser polarimetry with variable corneal compensation, and optical coherence tomography (OCT) of the RNFL and optic nerve head were performed. LargeVCDR was defined as ≥0.80 using stereoscopic disc examination and OCT optic nerve head analysis. Structural and functional characteristics were assessed separately in eyes with a disc area of less than 2 mm2, 2 to 2.5 mm2 and greater than 2.5 mm2. RESULTS: Fifty-seven eyes of 57 subjects were enrolled. A broad range in mean deviation (2.0 to-32.8 dB) and mean RNFL thickness with OCT (24.3-100.4 μm) and scanning laser polarimetry with variable corneal compensation (24.0-61.7 μm) was identified. Predictors of standard automated perimetry severity using multiple linear regression were mean RNFL thickness using OCT (P=.001) and scanning laser polarimetry (P=.001), OCT-vertical cup diameter (P=.003), temporal, superior, nasal, inferior, temporal standard deviation (P=.03), and OCT-disc area (P=.04). Eyes with an OCTdisc area of less than 2 mm2 demonstrated significantly greater standard automated perimetry damage, RNFL loss using OCT and scanning laser polarimetry, and OCT-rim area (P=.002, .0007, .03, and < .0001, respectively) compared with eyes with a disc area of greater than 2.5 mm2. CONCLUSIONS: Eyes with large VCDR have a wide range of RNFL atrophy and standard automated perimetry damage. Small optic discs are associated with more advanced glaucomatous injury.

Four new species of Orchidaceae from China,Heminium lijiangense,Peristylus fasciculatus,Platanthera milinensis,and Ponerorchis gongshanensis,together with a new country record,Peristylus tenuicallus,are described and illustrated based on morphological and/or phylogenetic *** lijiangense is closely related to *** but differs from it by having the dorsal sepal ovate-orbicular and lip midlobe distinctly shorter than lateral *** is close to Peristylus tradescantifolius but is distinguished from it by having several fascicled and straight,root-like tubers(*** or two oblongoid tubers),old stems usually persistent,middle lobe of lip narrowly ligulate-lanceolate and half as long as the lateral lobes(*** lobe deltoid,about a third as long as the lateral lobes or less),a raised callus at the base of each lateral lobe(*** absent),spur gradually attenuate toward the apex(*** clavate).Platanthera milinensis is similar to *** by sharing small green flowers and lip without a spur,but differs in having a creeping rhizome,a corymbose inflorescence,and a broadly ovate and slightly 3-lobed *** gongshanensis is similar to *** in its small flowers,but differs in having a linear leaf c.3 mm wide(*** 5-13 mm wide),in the lip having collar-like raised margins on the sides of the spur entrance,and a mid-lobe which is notched at the apex but not divided into two divergent lobules that are nearly as large as the lateral lobes,as in *** the proposed species obtained high support in phylogenetic analysis as new *** recently described genus Apetalanthe is reduced to synonymy of Ponerorchis and a new combination is made.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)provide a reliable and energyefficient solution for data collection from the Narrowband Internet of Things(NB-IoT)***,the UAV’s deployment optimization,including locations of the UAV’s stop points,is a necessity to minimize the energy consumption of the UAV and the NB-IoT devices and also to conduct the data collection *** this regard,this paper proposes GainingSharing Knowledge(GSK)algorithm for optimizing the UAV’s *** GSK,the number of UAV’s stop points in the three-dimensional space is encapsulated into a single individual with a fixed length representing an entire *** superiority of using GSK in the tackled problem is verified by simulation in seven *** provides significant results in all seven scenarios compared with other four optimization algorithms used before with the same ***,the NB-IoT is proposed as the wireless communication technology between the UAV and IoT devices.

Objective: To compare the prevalence of structural and psychophysical abnormalities in normal eyes and eyes with glaucomatous optic neuropathy (GON) and normal standard automated perimetry (SAP). Methods: Complete examination,SAP,short-wavelength automated perimetry (SWAP),frequency doubling technology (FDT),scanning laser polarimetry (GDx-VCC),and optical coherence tomography (OCT) of the peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL),optic disc,and macula were performed. Glaucomatous optic neuropathy was defined as cup-disc asymmetry between fellow eyes of greater than 0.2,rim thinning,notching,excavation,or RNFL defect. All eyes had normal SAP. Abnormal measurements on OCT,GDx-VCC,SWAP,and FDT were defined as those outside 95% normal limits. Eyes were stratified into 3 groups based on the OCT-generated vertical cup-disc ratio: mild,moderate,and advanced cupping (cup-disc ratio of 0.7,respectively). Receiver operating characteristic curves were developed to assess sensitivity and specificity of structural and functional assessments. Results: Forty-seven eyes of 47patients (25 with GON and 22 normal) were enrolled (mean± SD age,58± 16 years; range,25-83 years). Compared with normal eyes,eyes with GON had significantly worse mean deviation and pattern standard deviation by means of SWAP and FDT (P=.02-.05); OCT-derived mean and superior and inferior RNFL thickness (P=.008,< .001,and .05,respectively); mean macular thickness (P=.01),rim volume,rim area,cup-disc ratio,and cup area (all P< .001); and GDx-VCC nerve fiber indicator and inferior average (P=.03). There was a significantly (P=.008,.002,.003,and .01,respectively) greater prevalence of abnormalities identified by SWAP,FDT,OCT and GDx-VCC in eyes with advanced cupping (43% ,43% ,57% ,and 57% ,respectively) compared with mild cupping (0% ) and moderate cupping (9% ,5% ,19% ,and 33% ,respectively).
