Recently electrochemical synthesis of H_(2)O_(2)through oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)via 2e^(-)pathway is co.sidered as a green and on-site ***,it still remains a big challenge for fabricating novel metal-free catalysts under acidic solutions,since it suffers from high overpotential due to the intrinsically week*OOH ***,a co.doped carbon nanosheet(O/N–C)catalyst toward regulating O and N co.tent was synthesized for improving the selectivity and activity of H_(2)O_(2)electrosynthesis *** O/N–C exhibits outstanding 2e-ORR performance with low onset potential of 0.4 V(***)and a selectivity of 92.4%in 0.1 mol/L HClO_(4)*** in situ electrochemical impedance spectrosco.y(EIS)tests reveals that the N inco.poration co.tributes to the fast ORR *** density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrate that the binding strength of*OOH was optimized by the co.doping of oxygen and nitrogen at certain co.tent,and the O/N–C–co.H site exhibits a lower theoretical overpotential for H_(2)O_(2)formation than O–C–co.H ***,the promoted kinetics for typical organic dye degradation in simultaneous electron-Fenton process on O/N–C catalyst was demonstrated particularly for broadening its environmental application.

Fat is one of the three macronutrients and a significant energy source for piglets. It plays a positive role in maintaining intestinal health and improving production performance. During the weaning period,physiological, stress and diet-related factors influence the absorption of fat in piglets, leading to damage to the intestinal barrier, diarrhea and even death. Signaling pathways, such as fatty acid translocase(CD36), pregnane X receptor(PXR), and AMP-dependent protein kinase(AMPK), are responsible for regulating intestinal fat uptake and maintaining intestinal barrier function. Therefore, this review mainly elaborates on the reasons for diarrhea induced by insufficient fat absorption and related signaling pathways in weaned-piglets, with an emphasis on the intestinal fat absorption disorder. Moreover, we focus on introducing nutritional strategies that can promote intestinal fat absorption in piglets with insufficient fat absorption-related diarrhea, such as lipase, amino acids, and probiotics.

Xylanase,an enzyme capable of hydrolyzing non-starch polysaccharides found in grain structures like wheat,has been found to improve the organizational structure of dough and thus increase its *** our past work,one promising xylanase FXYL derived from Fusarium oxysporum Fo47 and first expressed 779.64 U/mL activity in *** has shown significant potential in improving the quality of whole wheat bread,making it beco.e a candidate for development as a new flour *** optimization of expression elements and gene dose,the xylanase activity of FXYL strain carrying three-co.ies reached 4240.92 U/mL in *** addition,12 factors associated with the three stages of protein expression pathway were co.expressed individually in order in three-co.ies strain,and the translation factor Pab1 co.expression increased FXYL activity to 8893.53 U/***,co.bining the most effective or synergistic factors from three stages did not exhibit better results than co.expressing them *** further evaluate the industrial potential,the xylanase activity and protein co.centration reached 81184.51 U/mL and 11.8 g/L in a 5 L fed-batch *** engineering strategies improved the expression of xylanase FXYL by more than 104-fold,providing valuable insights for the co.t-effective industrial application of FXYL in the baking field.

Small cell lung cancer(SCLC)is a highly malignant and heterogeneous cancer with limited therapeutic options and prognosis prediction ***,we analyzed formalin-fixed,paraffin-embedded(FFPE)samples of surgical resections by proteomic profiling,and stratified SCLC into three proteomic subtypes(S-I,S-II,and S-III)with distinct clinical outco.es and chemotherapy *** proteomic subtyping was an independent prognostic factor and performed better than current tumor–node–metastasis or Veterans Administration Lung Study Group staging *** subtyping results co.ld be further validated using FFPE biopsy samples from an independent co.ort,extending the analysis to both surgical and biopsy *** signatures of the S-II subtype in particular suggested potential benefits from *** overexpressed proteins in S-III,the worst prognostic subtype,allowed us to nominate potential therapeutic targets,indicating that patient selection may bring new hope for previously failed clinical ***,analysis of an independent co.ort of SCLC patients who had received immunotherapy validated the prediction that the S-II patients had better progression-free survival and overall survival after first-line ***,our study provides the rationale for future clinical investigations to validate the current findings for more accurate prognosis prediction and precise treatments.

Recently,immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)and poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase inhibitors(PARPi)have played a pivotal role in prolonging the recurrence-free survival of patients with ovarian cancer(OC).1,2 Although PARPi have revolutionized the treatment of OC,the absence of reliable predictive biomarkers limits the broad application of ICIs for patients with homologous reco.bination(HR)deficiency(HRD).3 CXC-chemokine ligand 13(CXCL13)is a cytokine co.stitutively secreted in the stromal cells of the B-cell region of seco.dary lymphoid tissue.4 It exclusively binds to the chemokine receptor CXCR5,which is abundantly expressed in subsets of mature circulating B lymphocytes,follicular helper T cells,and skin-derived dendritic cells,and governs the migration of these cells into seco.dary lymphoid organs in response to the CXCL13 gradient.5 In this study,we aimed to elucidate the role of CXCL13 in shaping the tumor immune microenvironment(TIME)in HR-deficient OC and to explore its relationship with the cGAS-STING signaling pathway.

The Orthopoxvirus genus,especially variola virus(VARV),monkeypox virus(MPXV),remains a significant public health threat *** development of therapeutic antibodies against orthopoxviruses is largely hampered by the high co.t of antibody engineering and manufacturing ***-enco.ed antibodies have emerged as a powerful and universal platform for rapid antibody ***,by using the established lipid nanoparticle(LNP)-encapsulated mRNA platform,we co.structed four mRNA co.binations that enco.e monoclonal antibodies with broad neutralization activities against *** vivo characterization demonstrated that a single intravenous injection of each LNP-encapsulated mRNA antibody in mice resulted in the rapid production of neutralizing *** importantly,mRNA antibody treatments showed significant protection from weight loss and mortality in the vaccinia virus(VACV)lethal challenge mouse model,and a unique mRNA antibody co.ktail,Mix2a,exhibited superior in vivo protection by targeting both intracellular mature virus(IMV)-form and extracellular enveloped virus(EEV)-form *** summary,our results demonstrate the proof-of-co.cept production of orthopoxvirus antibodies via the LNP-mRNA platform,highlighting the great potential of tailored mRNA antibody co.binations as a universal strategy to co.bat orthopoxvirus as well as otheremerging viruses.

Electrochemical sensing provides a powerful technological means for the therapeutic drug monitoring of drug-resistant tuberculosis but requires a functionalized electrode to capture the analytes and catalyze their redox ***,we co.struct a nickel-tannic acid supramolecular network(Ni-TA)on the surface of electrospun-derived C-CeO_(2) nanofiber for the sensitive and simultaneous detection of isoniazid(INZ)and hydrazine(HYD).Mechanistic investigations demonstrate that Ni-TA is electronegative and hydrophilic,thus facilitating an efficient mass and electron ***-TA/C-CeO_(2) has higher adsorption rate co.stants(0.091 g mg^(-1)h^(-1)for INZ,and 0.062 g mg^(-1)h^(-1)for HYD)than native C-CeO_(2)(0.075 g mg^(-1)h^(-1)for INZ,and 0.047 g mg^(-1)h^(-1)for HYD).Moreover,Ni-TA/C-CeO_(2)(56Ω)has lower charge transfer resistances than C-CeO_(2)(417Ω).Ni-TA/C-CeO_(2) performs low detection limits and wide linearity ranges for INZ(0.012μmol/L and 0.1-400μmol/L,respectively)and HYD(0.008μmol/L and 0.015-1420μmol/L,respectively),co.pled with high selectivity,cycle stability and *** research demonstrated the promising applications of Ni-TA/C-CeO_(2) by analyzing human-co.lected plasma and urine samples.

Draft tube vortex rope is co.sidered a special cavitation flow phenomenon in tubular turbine *** vortex rope is one of the most detrimental factors affecting the safety of hydraulic *** this study,ANSYS CFX software was utilized to numerically simulate the internal cavitation flow of a hydraulic turbine draft *** evolution of the cavitation vortex co.e was characterized by vortex line distribution and vorticity transport *** shape and number of blades influenced the revolving direction and distribution characteristics of the vortex close to the runner co.e,which formed a co.nterclockwise-clockwise-co.nterclockwise distribution ***,there were many seco.dary flows in the draft *** cancellation and dissipation between the flows was one of the reasons for reduction in *** the cross-sectional shape of the draft tube was changed,the vorticity was distributed from the center of the vortex rope to all parts of the cross-sectional draft tube,with extreme values at the center and at the *** vortex stretching and dilatation terms played a major role in the change in vorticity,with the baroclinic torque having an effect at the center of the vortex rope,this study is helpful to understand the flow of water in the draft tube and guide the design and optimization of the draft tube in engineering application.
