We recently read the opinion piece titled“Why people should run after positive affective experiences instead of health benefits”,which was carried out by Maltagliati et al.^(1)and published in the Journal of Sport and health *** article started an important discussion about a physical activity(PA)promotion approach that encourages the use of affective experience to PA *** we agree with the authors’point of view and believe that its message can generate an important insight for PA promotion,the authors presented a scenario where behavior change seems to be exclusively dependent on the *** the existence of other barriers to an active lifestyle(e.g.,social inequalities)could enhance the authors’suggested approach because many people live in conditions that reduce their opportunities to engage in affective experiences related to PA;furthermore,affective experiences can vary depending on individual context.

Power of SAR Imagery and Machine Learning in Monitoring Ulva prolifera: A Case Study of Sentinel-1 and Random Forest

Automatically detecting Ulva prolifera(U. prolifera) in rainy and cloudy weather using remote sensing imagery has been a long-standing problem. Here, we address this challenge by combining high-resolution Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) imagery with the machine learning, and detect the U. prolifera of the South Yellow Sea of China(SYS) in 2021. The findings indicate that the Random Forest model can accurately and robustly detect U. prolifera, even in the presence of complex ocean backgrounds and speckle *** inspection confirmed that the method successfully identified the majority of pixels containing U. prolifera without misidentifying noise pixels or seawater pixels as U. prolifera. Additionally, the method demonstrated consistent performance across different images, with an average Area Under Curve(AUC) of 0.930(±0.028). The analysis yielded an overall accuracy of over 96%, with an average Kappa coefficient of 0.941(±0.038). Compared to the traditional thresholding method, Random Forest model has a lower estimation error of 14.81%. Practical application indicates that this method can be used in the detection of unprecedented U. prolifera in 2021to derive continuous spatiotemporal changes. This study provides a potential new method to detect U. prolifera and enhances our understanding of macroalgal outbreaks in the marine environment.

Introduction and Significance: Burn injury (BI) is a considerable health issue which is responsible for around 300,000 deaths and affecting about 11 million people every year worldwide. In Saudi Arabia, the prevalence of BIs array from 112 to 518 per 100,000 per year. The appropriate awareness of performing first aid could facilitate to improve the outcomes of burns. Purpose and Objectives: To appraise the community that acknowledges burns, first aid, and associated factors among the community population in Jazan City, Saudi Arabia. The paper aims to identify limitations to encourage additional research and persuade legislators to develop improved burn-injury care recommendations and training programs. Materials and Methods: An observational-based sample survey was conducted among the people who live in Jazan City aging 13 years or more, during April 5 to May 5, 2023. Data collection was done by a validated online self-administrated questionnaire sent randomly to community members in different parts of Jazan City via social media platforms. Collected data were coded and cleaned by an excel program, and finally exported on SPSS 26.0 software. The variables were analyzed using descriptive statistics like frequencies and percentages. Also, the Chi-square test was used to investigate the relation between different variables, with a significance value of P Results: This study included 243 participants (about 62%) among them were mostly male participants (151) having a university degree. The majority of participants 75% did not take any form of BFA training in the past. This study shows that 69.9% of the participants have inadequate awareness, despite 72% having a constructive attitude towards burn first aid. Previous burn-related first aid training was significantly associated with participants’ knowledge of BFA at a p-value less than 0.05. The current study aimed to evaluate the first aid knowledge and general awareness of bleeding control, and their relations with different variables among the population of Jazan City, Saudi Arabia, in 2023. A cross-sectional study was conducted in Jazan City, Saudi Arabia between April 2023 and May 2023. Participants, >13 years old, living in Jazan City, were self-enrolled. Data collection was carried out by distributing a self-reported online survey questionnaire via email and social media apps. A validated, pretested online self-report questionnaire was used for data collection, with data analysis performed using (MS) Excel 2022 and SPSS version 26. A Chi-square test was used to determine the association of sociodemographic variables and Bleeding Control (BC) knowledge with, significance set at p healthcare organizations to implement educational first-aid programs and activities aimed at enhancing community awareness and knowledge of bleeding control.

Cesarean scar pregnancy(CSP)is a rare form of ectopic pregnancy that is defined as a pregnancy sac located within the scar of a previous cesarean *** cesarean scar pregnancy(RCSP)is even more uncommon,1 with Hasegawa et al reporting the first RCSP in 2005.2 RCSP is a high-risk pregnancy condition with potential complications that include heavy bleeding,uterine rupture,and maternal *** exact incidence rates for CSP and RCSP are unknown,although the incidence of CSP is 1/2656–1/1800 of the total number of cesarean sections,and the incidence of RCSP can reach 6.9%–34.3%.3,4,5 With the promulgation of the second and third child policies in China,an increasing number of patients now manifest fertility needs after cesarean *** improvements in examination methods and awareness of CSP,we also suspect that the rates of CSP and RCSP may be even ***,there is no standard treatment for *** herein report a case in which the patient was treated by combined hysteroscopic and laparoscopic uterine repair without scar resection during the third RCSP,and the fourth RCSP occurred 6 months later;the patient then selected expectant *** outcome was a successful cesarean section delivery of a live baby at 34 weeks of gestation,and the uterus was successfully *** pathology was examined after delivery and revealed that the chorionic villi penetrated deeply into the myometrium.
