1991年秋冬季收集了北京等我国四个地区婴幼儿腹泻患儿粪便标本,通过聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳(PAGE)发现一些标本中有不同轮状病毒的混合感染。应用套式多聚酶链反应(套式PCR),确定了7例混合感染轮状病毒的VP7血清型别,并用Northern印迹杂交法证实。该方法用于鉴别混合感染毒株的血清型别,不仅敏感、特异,而且节省时间和材料。

Myrrh, commercially available as a brown powder, is a natural flavoring substance approved for food use by US food and drug administration and has antibacterial and antifungal activity against pathogens. Myrrh is commercially available as a brown powder. The objective was to determine the effect of myrrh on the color (L*, a*, b*, C*, h*) and viscosity of yogurt over refrigerated storage. Myrrh dispersion was prepared and incorporated at a 1% v/v level into yogurt. A control with no myrrh was also prepared. Three replications were conducted. At a small usage level of 1% v/v, myrrh influenced the color attributes L*, a* and h* but did not influence the viscosity of the plain yogurts.

In recent years, the use of in-feed antibiotics for growth and disease prevention in livestock production has been under severe scrutiny. The use and misuse of in-feed antibiotics has led to problems with drug residues in animal products and increased bacterial resistance. Chicken egg yolk antibodies （IgY） have attracted considerable attention as an alternative to antibiotics to maintain swine health and performance. Oral administration of IgY possesses many advantages over mammalian IgG such as cost-effectiveness, convenience and high yield. This review presents an overview of the potential to use IgY immunotherapy for the prevention and treatment of swine diarrhea diseases and speculates on the future of IgY technology. Included are a review of the potential applications of IgY in the control of enteric infections of either bacterial or viral origin such as enterotoxigenic Escherichia coil, Salmonella spp., rotavirus, porcine transmissible gastroenteritis virus, and porcine epidemic diarrhea virus. Some potential obstacles to the adoption of IgY technology are also discussed.

Major depressive disorder(MDD) is a common psychiatric disorder with an estimated lifetime prevalence rate in the range of 13% to 16% in the United States population. Patients with MDD often have symptoms such as depressed mood, loss of interest or pleasure in usual activities, changes in eating or sleeping patterns, fatigue, difficulty concentrating and thoughts of suicide. Although many pharmacotherapy treatment options are available for MDD, antidepressants can oftencause adverse effects that could affect adherence to the medication. Additionally, it is estimated that MDD is unremitting in 15% of patients and 35% can have recurrent episodes. Given the high rate of recurrence and the adverse effects associated with existing medications, new treatment options for depression are needed. Both levomilnacipran and vortioxetine are new antidepressants that were approved by the food and drug administration in 2013 for the treatment of MDD in adults. Levomilnacipran is a serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor that was effective in several short term studies and sustained efficacy and tolerability was demonstrated in a 48-wk extension study. Vortioxetine is a multi-modal antidepressant and it is thought to work via inhibition of the serotonin(5-HT) transporter, 5-HT3 A, 5-HT7 and 5-HT1 D antagonist, a 5-HT1 B partial agonist, and a 5-HT1 A agonist. Vortioxetine was effective in the treatment of MDD in both short-term trials as well as in the prevention of relapse in a 24-36 wk trial. Sustained efficacy and tolerability was demonstrated in several long-term open-label trials. Further studies comparing levomilnacipran and vortioxetine to other currently available antidepressants are needed to establish its place in therapy.

Inhibition of Breast Cancer Resistance Protein(BCRP) by Ko143 Can Affect Pharmacokinetics of Enrofloxacin in Exopalaemon carinicauda

Adenosine triphosphate-binding cassette transporter breast cancer resistance protein(BCRP) exists highly in the apical membranes of epithelia, and is involved in drug availability. Ko143 is a typical inhibitor of BCRP in rodents. The synthetic antibacterial agent enrofloxacin(ENRO) is a fluoroquinolone employed as veterinary and aquatic medicine, and also a substrate for BCRP. BCRP gene highly expressed in the hepatopancreas and intestine of Exopalaemon carinicauda as was determined with real-time quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-q PCR) method. The effects of Ko143 on the abundance of BCRP m RNA and ENRO pharmacokinetics in E. carinicauda were studied. The m RNA abundance of BCRP decreased significantly in hepatopancreas and intestine(P administration of Ko143 significantly changed the pharmacokinetics of orally administered enrofloxacin, which was supported by higher distribution half-life(t_(1/2α)), elimination half-life(t_(1/2β)), area under the curve up to the last measurable concentration(AUC_(0-t)), peak concentration(C_(max)) and lower clearance(CL/F). These findings revealed that Ko143 downregulates BCRP expression in hepatopancreas and intestine, thus affects the pharmacokinetics of orally administered enrofloxacin in E. carinicauda. The drug-drug interaction can be caused by the change in BCRP activity if ENRO is used in combination with other drugs in shrimp.

Peptide-drug conjugates(PDCs)are the next generation of targeted therapeutics drug after antibody-drug conjugates(ADCs),with the core benefits of enhanced cellular permeability and improved drug *** drugs are now approved for market by US food and drug administration(FDA),and in the last two years,the pharmaceutical companies have been developing PDCs as targeted therapeutic candidates for cancer,coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),metabolic diseases,and so *** therapeutic benefits of PDCs are significant,but poor stability,low bioactivity,long research and development time,and slow clinical development process as therapeutic agents of PDC,how can we design PDCs more effectively and what is the future direction of PDCs?This review summarises the components and functions of PDCs for therapeutic,from drug target screening and PDC design improvement strategies to clinical applications to improve the permeability,targeting,and stability of the various components of *** holds great promise for the future of PDCs,such as bicyclic peptide-toxin coupling or supramolecular nanostructures for peptide-conjugated *** mode of drug delivery is determined according to the PDC design and current clinical trials are *** way is shown for future PDC development.
