N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A), the most prevalent and conserved RNA modification in eukaryotic cells, profoundly influences virtually all aspects of mRNA metabolism. mRNA plays crucial roles in neural stem cell genesis and neural regeneration, where it is highly concentrated and actively involved in these processes. Changes in m^(6)A modification levels and the expression levels of related enzymatic proteins can lead to neurological dysfunction and contribute to the development of neurological diseases. Furthermore, the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells, as well as nerve regeneration, are intimately linked to memory function and neurodegenerative diseases. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the roles of m^(6)A in neural stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and self-renewal, as well as its implications in memory and neurodegenerative diseases. m^(6)A has demonstrated divergent effects on the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells. These observed contradictions may arise from the time-specific nature of m^(6)A and its differential impact on neural stem cells across various stages of development. Similarly, the diverse effects of m^(6)A on distinct types of memory could be attributed to the involvement of specific brain regions in memory formation and recall. Inconsistencies in m^(6)A levels across different models of neurodegenerative disease, particularly Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, suggest that these disparities are linked to variations in the affected brain regions. Notably, the opposing changes in m^(6)A levels observed in Parkinson's disease models exposed to manganese compared to normal Parkinson's disease models further underscore the complexity of m^(6)A's role in neurodegenerative processes. The roles of m^(6)A in neural stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and self-renewal, and its implications in memory and neurodegenerative diseases, appear contradictory. Research on Credit Regulation Mechanism of E-commerce Platform Based on Evolutionary Game Theory

In the growing e-commerce industry,the problem of malicious business operations has become increasingly prominent,exposing many problems such as weak supervision of e-commerce platforms and no way for consumers to *** order to solve the problems of counterfeit and shoddy products on e-commerce platforms and promote the sustainable development of the e-commerce industry in China,this paper constructs a three-party evolutionary game model of e-commerce platforms,merchants,and consumers,investigates the influence of each influencing factor on each party’s strategy choice,and provides targeted suggestions to e-commerce platforms based on relevant ***,the impact of several important parameters on the equilibrium solution is discussed through sensitivity *** results show that:1)the smaller the cost difference between active and negative regulation,the more the e-commerce platform tends to active regulation strategy,but increasing fines for dishonest merchants and consumer complaints have little impact on the e-commerce platform;2)increasing consumer compensation,creating an honest business environment,and reducing the cost of honest business all help companies tend to operate in good faith;3)the only factor that affects the tendency of consumer complaint strategies is the cost of *** loss suffered by silence and the compensation given to consumers have little effect on consumers’tendency to complain *** results can provide theoretical guidance for participants to make useful strategic decisions in the e-commerce market.

A Survey on Pre-Processing in Image Matting

Pre-processing is an important step in digital image matting, which aims to classify more accurate foreground and background pixels from the unknown region of the input three-region mask （Trimap）. This step has no relation with the well-known matting equation and only compares color differences between the current unknown pixel and those known pixels. These newly classified pure pixels are then fed to the matting process as samples to improve the quality of the final matte. However, in the research field of image matting, the importance of pre-processing step is still blurry. Moreover, there are no corresponding review articles for this step, and the quantitative comparison of Trimap and alpha mattes after this step still remains unsolved. In this paper, the necessity and the importance of pre-processing step in image matting are firstly discussed in details. Next, current pre-processing methods are introduced by using the following two categories： static thresholding methods and dynamic thresholding methods. Analyses and experimental results show that static thresholding methods, especially the most popular iterative method, can make accurate pixel classifications in those general Trimaps with relatively fewer unknown pixels. However, in a much larger Trimap, there methods are limited by the conservative color and spatial thresholds. In contrast, dynamic thresholding methods can make much aggressive classifications on much difficult cases, but still strongly suffer from noises and false classifications. In addition, the sharp boundary detector is further discussed as a prior of pure pixels. Finally, summaries and a more effective approach are presented for pre-processing compared with the existing methods.

Satellite range scheduling with the priority constraint: An improved genetic algorithm using a station ID encoding method

Abstract Satellite range scheduling with the priority constraint is one of the most important prob lems in the field of satellite operation. This paper proposes a station coding based genetic algorithm to solve this problem, which adopts a new chromosome encoding method that arranges tasks according to the ground station ID. The new encoding method contributes to reducing the complex ity in conflict checking and resolving, and helps to improve the ability to find optimal resolutions. Three different selection operators are designed to match the new encoding strategy, namely ran dom selection, greedy selection, and roulette selection. To demonstrate the benefits of the improved genetic algorithm, a basic genetic algorithm is designed in which two cross operators are presented, a singlepoint crossover and a multipoint crossover. For the purpose of algorithm test and analysis, a problemgenerating program is designed, which can simulate problems by modeling features encountered in realworld problems. Based on the problem generator, computational results and analysis are made and illustrated for the scheduling of multiple ground stations.

Hippocampal CA1 pyramidal cells and neurotrophic factors in a rat model of vascular dementia following Xiongma drop pill versus Ginkgo leaf tablets

BACKGROUND： Previous studies have demonstrated the neuroprotective effects of Xiongma drop pill （XMDP） in a mouse model of vascular dementia. Neurotrophic factors play an important role in repair and regeneration of injured neurons. OBJECTIVE： To compare the effects of XMDP and Ginkgo leaf tablets on the appearance and number of hippocampal CA1 pyramidal neurons, as well as neurotrophic factor content in brain tissues, during vascular dementia formation to explore the neuroprotective mechanisms of XMDP. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING： A randomized, controlled, animal experiment was performed at the Laboratory of Pharmacology, College of Pharmacy, harbin university of commerce between April 2007 and December 2008. MATERIALS： XMDP was prepared by the College of Pharmacy, harbin university of commerce, with each 40 mg pill containing ferulic acid （≥ 0.149 mg） and gastrodin （≥ 0.171 mg）. Ginkgo leaf tablets were purchased from Taiyuan Qianyuan Pharmacy, China. METHODS： Healthy, adult, male, Wistar rats were randomly assigned to 6 groups： sham-operation, model, XMDP （high-, middle-, and low- dose）, and Ginkgo leaf tablets. The 6 groups were subdivided into two subgroups according to administration days, i.e., 30 and 60 days, with 8 animals in each subgroup. Rats in the model, XMDP, and Ginkgo leaf tablets groups were subjected to permanent bilateral ligation of the common carotid artery to establish a vascular dementia model. At 8 days after model establishment, all groups received intragastric administration once daily of the following： 10 mL/kg normal saline in the sham-operation and model groups; 0.4, 0.2, and 0.1 g/kg XMDP in the high-, middle-, and low-dose XMDP groups, respectively; and 50 mg/kg Ginkgo leaf tablets in the Ginkgo leaf tablets group. Kinematics and dynamics of a particle on a non-simple harmonic vibrating screen

The motion of a particle on a screen is directly affected by the motion of the screen if airflow and inter- granular friction are ignored. To study this effect, a mathematical model was established to analyze the motion of a planar reciprocating vibrating screen, and a matrix method was employed to derive its equa- tion of motion. The motion of the screen was simulated numerically and analyzed using MATLAB. The results show that the screen undergoes non-simple harmonic motion and the law of motion of each point in the screen is different. The tilt angle of the screen during screening is not constant but varies according to a specific periodic function. The results of numerical simulations were verified through experiments. A high-speed camera was used to track the motion of three points in the longitudinal direction of the screen. The balance equation for forces acting on a single particle on the screen was derived based on the non-simple harmonic motion of the screen, These forces were simulated using MATLAB. Different types of particle motion like slipping forward, moving backward, and being tossed to different parts of the screen were analyzed. A vibro-impact motion model for a particle on the non-simple harmonic vibrating screen was established based on the nonlinear law of motion of the particle. The stability of fixed points of the map is discussed. Regimes of different particle behaviors such as stable periodic motion, period-doubling bifurcation motion, Hopf bifurcation motion, and chaotic motion were obtained. With the actual law of motion of the screen and the behavior of a particle on the screen, a theoretical basis for design optimization of the screen is provided.

In this paper,we propose a new method,the variable separation technique,for obtaining a breather and rogue wave solution to the nonlinear evolution *** systems of the derivative nonlinear Schr?dinger type are used as three examples to illustrate the effectiveness of the presented *** then obtain a family of rational *** family of solutions includes the Akhmediev breather,the Kuznetsov-Ma breather,versatile rogue waves,and various interactions of localized ***,the main characteristics of these solutions are discussed and some graphics are *** importantly,our results show that more abundant and novel localized waves may exist in the multicomponent coupled equations than in the uncoupled ones.

Wear Resistance of TiN_x/CF_y Coatings Deposited by RF Magnetron Co-Sputtering

TiN x/CF y composite coatings were prepared by RF magnetron co-sputtering using twin cylindrical tube targets with Ar and N 2 *** composition of the coatings deposited at various positions was analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS） and Rutherford back-scattering spectrometry（RBS）.The results revealed that the composition of the deposited coatings has a wide range of TiN x and CFy contents at different deposition positions,which leads to different structures and *** hardness of the composite coatings increases from 32 to 1603 HV with increasing the TiN x *** static contact angle of water ranges from 20° to 102° and decreases upon the incorporation of more TiN x into the CF y *** presence of the CF y groups enhances the contact angle between the coating and the solutions dropped onto it,which could effectively protect the coating from corrosion and improve the wear resistance properties in high relative humidity（RH）.The brittleness of the coatings decreases due to the softness of the CF y component,which can bear most of the load and result in less probability of crack *** results demonstrate the existence of a Ti-（C N） chemical bond in the composite coatings,which improves the wear resistance of the *** is indicated that the wear resistance of the TiN x/CF y coatings is independent of the ***,these properties depend on the uniform structure and the existence of chemical bonding between the TiN x and CF y ***,a specific ratio between the soft CF y phase and the hard TiN x phase can produce coatings with good wear resistance.

Stochastic differential equation software reliability growth model with change-point

This paper presents software reliability growth models(SRGMs) with change-point based on the stochastic differential equation(SDE).Although SRGMs based on SDE have been developed in a large scale software system,considering the variation of failure distribution in the existing models during testing time is *** SDE SRGMs assume that failures have the same ***,in practice,the fault detection rate can be affected by some factors and may be changed at certain point as time *** respect to this issue,in this paper,SDE SRGMs with changepoint are proposed to precisely reflect the variations of the failure distribution.A real data set is used to evaluate the new *** experimental results show that the proposed models have a fairly accurate prediction capability.
