Objective Hypertriglyceridemic waist(HW),hypertriglyceridemic waist-to-height ratio(HWHtR),and waist-to-hip ratio(WHR)have been shown to be indicators of cardiometabolic risk ***,it is not clear which indicator is more suitable for children and *** aimed to investigate the relationship between HW,HWHtR,WHR,and cardiovascular risk factors clustering to determine the best screening tools for cardiometabolic risk in children and *** This was a national cross-sectional *** and biochemical variables were assessed in approximately 70,000 participants aged 6–18 years from seven provinces in ***,physical activity,dietary intake,and family history of chronic diseases were obtained through ***,χ2 and logistic regression analysis was *** A significant sex difference was observed for HWHtR and WHR,but not for HW *** risk of cardiometabolic health risk factor clustering with HW phenotype or the HWHtR phenotype was significantly higher than that with the non-HW or non-HWHtR phenotypes among children and adolescents(HW:OR=12.22,95%CI:9.54-15.67;HWHtR:OR=9.70,95%CI:6.93-13.58).Compared with the HW and HWHtR phenotypes,the association between risk of cardiometabolic health risk factors(CHRF)clustering and high WHR was much weaker and not significant(WHR:OR=1.14,95%CI:0.97-1.34).Conclusion Compared with HWHtR and WHR,the HW phenotype is a more convenient indicator with higher applicability to screen children and adolescents for cardiovascular risk factors.

In this study,we investigate the quasinormal modes(QNMs)of a Lorentz-violating spacetime,factoring in a cosmological constant,within the framework of Einstein-bumblebee *** findings reveal that the interaction of spacetime with an anisotropic bumblebee field imparts distinct contributions to the axial and polar sectors of the vector *** subsequently breaks the isospectrality typically observed in vector *** evidence strongly indicates isospectral breaking in the vector modes of Einstein-bumblebee black holes:a pronounced breakage in the real part of the frequencies,while the imaginary component seems less *** isospectral breaking indicates the existence of two different waveforms in the Ringdown phase of the black hole,which provides a potential signal of quantum gravity observable in current experiments.

To accurately obtain the waveform template of gravitational waves, substantial computational resources and extremely high precision are often required. In a previous study, we employed the confluent Heun function to obtain an exact solution to the Teukolsky equation. This approach allowed us to efficiently and accurately calculate the gravitational wave flux for a particle in circular orbits around a Schwarzschild black hole. Building on this method, we now extend its application to calculate the asymptotic gravitational wave fluxes from a particle in generic orbits around a near-extreme Kerr black hole. Our extended method proves particularly effective in handling computational challenges associated with large eccentricities(e = 0.9), higher spins(a = 0.999), higher harmonic modes, and strong-field regions. The results we obtained significantly outperform those derived from the numerical integration method based on the Mano-Suzuki-Takasugi method.

In retrospect of foreign literature studies in China from 1949 to 2019,we have to acknowledge two fundamental ***,although in the initial 30 years of this period foreign literature studies in China largely followed the Soviet model,neglecting Western literary and cultural traditions to some extentwith over a decade under the influence of extreme"leftist"trendsit was during this time that the groundwork for the academic framework of foreign literature studies was painstakingly ***,with the influx of Western ideas,foreign literature studies during the subsequent 40 years underwent a complete paradigm shift,providing the spiritual nourishment for and playing a pioneering role in liberating thought and rectifying ***,this period saw a conspicuous adoption of Western paradigms in foreign literature studies,thereby somewhat abandoning certain valuable traditions and academic stances that ought to have been ***,foreign literature studies in this period also experienced an undiscriminating acceptance and hasty integration of ideas,leading to a mixture of the good and the *** essay provides an important overview of 70 years of foreign literature studies in China,though the specific situations are much more *** recent years,as the ideas of cultural confidence and a community of shared future for mankind deeply resonate with the public,the principles of serving the Chinese people and Chinese socialist cause are increasingly becoming significant recognitions within China's foreign literature scholarly community.

Portopulmonary hypertension(PoPH) is a syndrome characterized by unexplained pre-capillary pulmonary hypertension in the presence of portal hypertension. It is classified under pulmonary arterial hypertension(PAH) in which multiple complex mechanisms including BMP9/BMPR2/ALK1 pathways, hyperdynamic circulation, estrogen pathways, NK cells, and oxidative stress were involved. Despite guideline-based treatments such as phosphodiesterase 5(PDE 5) inhibitors and endothelin receptor antagonists are effective for PoPH, but focusing on the BMP9/BMPR2/SMAD and estrogen pathways may be the new strategy to develop more comprehensive treatments.
