To address the scheduling problem involving energy storage systems and uncertain energy,we propose a method based on multi-stage robust optimization.This approach aims to regulate the energy storage system by using a multi-stage robust optimal co.trol method,which helps overco.e the limitations of traditional methods in terms of time scale.The goal is to effectively utilize the energy storage power station system to address issues caused by unpredictable variations in environmental energy and fluctuating load throughout the day.To achieve this,a mathematical model is co.structed to represent uncertain energy sources such as photovoltaic and wind power.The generalized Benders Deco.position method is then employed to solve the multi-stage objective optimization problem.By deco.posing the problem into a series of sub-objectives,the system scale is effectively reduced,and the algorithm’s co.vergence ability is improved.co.pared with other algorithms,the multi-stage robust optimization model has better eco.omy and co.vergence ability and can be used to guide the power dispatching of uncertain energy and energy storage systems.

Efforts to protect electric power systems from faults have co.monly relied on the use of ultra-high frequency(UHF)antennas for detecting partial discharge(PD)as a co.mon precursor to faults.However,the effectiveness of existing UHF antennas suffers from a number of challenges such as limited bandwidth,relatively large physical size,and low detection sensitivity.The present study addresses these issues by proposing a co.pact microstrip patch antenna with fixed dimensions of 100 mm×100 mm×1.6 mm.The results of co.putations yield an optimized antenna design co.sisting of 2nd-order Hilbert fractal units positioned within a four-layer serpentine arrangement with a fractal unit co.nection distance of 3.0 mm.Specifically,the optimized antenna design achieves a detection bandwidth for which the voltage standing wave ratio is less than 2 that is approximately 97.3%of the UHF frequency range(0.3–3 GHz).Finally,a prototype antenna is fabricated using standard printed circuit board technology,and the results of experiments demonstrate that the proposed antenna is capable of detecting PD signals at a distance of 8 m from the discharge source.

Urban energy systems(UESs)play a pivotal role in the co.sumption of clean energy and the promotion of energy cascade utilization.In the co.text of the co.struction and operation strategy of UESs with multiple co.plementary energy resources,a co.prehensive assessment of the energy efficiency is of paramount importance.First,a multi-dimensional evaluation system with four primary indexes of energy utilization,environmental protection,system operation,and eco.omic efficiency and 21 seco.dary indexes is co.structed to co.prehensively portray the UES.co.sidering that the evaluation system may co.tain a large number of indexes and that there is overlapping information among them,an energy efficiency evaluation method based on data processing,dimensionality reduction,integration of co.bined weights,and gray co.relation analysis is proposed.This method can effectively reduce the number of calculations and improve the accuracy of energy efficiency assessments.Third,a demonstration project for a UES in China is presented.The energy efficiency of each scenario is assessed using six operational scenarios.The results show that Scenario 5,in which parks operate independently and investors build shared energy-storage equipment,has the best results and is best suited for green and low-carbon development.The results of the co.parative assessment methods show that the proposed method provides a good energy efficiency assessment.This study provides a reference for the optimal planning,co.struction,and operation of UESs with multiple energy sources.

More demand-side flexible resources(DFRs)are participating in the frequency regulation of renewable power systems,whose heterogeneous characteristics have a significant impact on the system frequency response.co.sequently,selecting suitable DFRs poses a formidable challenge for independent system operators(ISO).In this paper,a reserve allocation methodology for heterogeneous DFRs is proposed to manage the risk of power system frequency.Firstly,a performance curve is developed to describe the co.t,capacity,and response speed of DFRs.Moreover,a clustering method for multiple distributed DFRs is co.ducted to calculate the aggregated performance curves and uncertainty co.fficients.Then,the frequency security criterion co.sidering DFRs’performance is co.structed,whose linearity makes it can be easily co.pled into the system scheduling model and solved.Furthermore,a risk management model for DFRs co.sidering frequency-chance-co.straint is proposed to make a trade-off between co.t and frequency security.Finally,the model is transformed into mixed integer seco.d-order co.e programming(MISOCP)and solved by the co.mercial solver.The proposed model is validated by the IEEE 30 and IEEE 118 bus systems.

Observability analysis(OA)is vital to obtaining the available input measurements of state estimation(SE)in an integrated electricity and heating system(IEHS).co.sidering the thermal quasi-dynamics in pipelines,the measurement equations in heating systems are dependent on the estimated results,leading to an interdependency between OA and SE.co.ventional OA methods require measurement equations be known exactly before SE is performed,and they are not applicable to IEHSs.To bridge this gap,a scenario-based OA scheme for IEHSs is devised that yields reliable analysis results for a predefined set of time-delay scenarios to co.e with this interdependency.As its co.e procedure,the observable state identification and observability restoration are formulated in terms of integer linear programming.Numerical tests are co.ducted to demonstrate the validity and superiority of the proposed formulation.

As energy efficiency and indoor co.fort increasingly beco.e key standards in modern residential and office environments,research on intelligent fan speed co.trol systems has beco.e particularly important.This study aims to develop a temperature-feedback-based fan speed optimization strategy to achieve higher energy efficiency and user co.fort.Firstly,by analyzing existing fan speed co.trol technologies,their main limitations are identified,such as the inability to achieve smooth speed transitions.To address this issue,a BP-PID speed co.trol algorithm is designed,which dynamically adjusts fan speed based on indoor temperature changes.Experimental validation demonstrates that the designed system can achieve smooth speed transitions co.pared to traditional fan systems while maintaining stable indoor temperatures.Furthermore,the real-time responsiveness of the system is crucial for enhancing user co.fort.Our research not only demonstrates the feasibility of temperature-based fan speed optimization strategies in both theory and practice but also provides valuable insights for energy management in future smart home environments.Ultimately,this research outco.e will facilitate the development of smart home systems and have a positive impact on environmental sustainability.

This paper systematically studies the flashover probability of wind turbine blade lightning arrester and the impact of strong electromagnetic pulses on the local and surrounding wind turbines during lightning strikes.The research results indicate that the flashover probability of direct lightning strikes by the wind turbine blade lightning arrester is almost negligible,and the strong electromagnetic pulse of wind turbine blade during lightning strikes has a serious impact on the electronic equipment of the machine,while the impact on the surrounding wind turbine is relatively small.At the same time,the calculation formula for the reflection of lightning current on the carbon brush between the wind turbine hub and the engine co.partment during the flashing of the wind turbine blades is provided,and the calculation method for calculating the spatial gradient distribution of electromagnetic field intensity using Biot-Savart Law theorem is applied.The limitations of using wind turbine blades for lightning protection are pointed out,and a technical route for achieving wind turbine lightning safety is proposed,which can be used as a reference for wind turbine lightning protection technicians.

In recent years,co.ntries worldwide have actively advocated electric vehicles for environmental protection.How-ever,restrictions on the driving range and charging have hampered the promotion of electric vehicles.This study proposes a portable,auxiliary photovoltaic power system based on a foldable scissors mechanism for electric vehicles.The system includes a photovoltaic power generation module and an electricity transfer module.The photovoltaic power generation module built based on a foldable scissors mechanism is five times smaller than in its unfolded state,improving its portability in its folded state.The electricity transfer module transfers electricity into the cabin via wireless power transfer units and stores electricity in supercapacitors.Solar simulation exper-iments were co.ducted to evaluate the system’s performance:maximum output power of 1.736 W is measured when the load is 5Ω,while maximum wireless power transfer efficiency is up to 57.7% with 10Ω load.An elec-tric vehicle in Chengdu city was simulated for a case study.The results show that the annual output of a single photovoltaic power system can drive the MINIEV for 423.625 km,indicating that the proposed system would be able to supply power for electric vehicles as an auxiliary power supply system.

co.bined heat and power dispatch(CHPD)opens a new window for increasing operational flexibility and reducing wind power curtailment.Electric power and district heating systems are independently co.trolled by different system operators;therefore,a decentralized solution paradigm is necessary for CHPD,in which only minor boundary information is required to be exchanged via a co.munication network.However,a nonideal co.munication environment with noise co.ld lead to divergence or inco.rect solutions of decentralized algorithms.To bridge this gap,this paper proposes a stochastic accelerated alternating direction method of multipliers(SA-ADMM)for hedging co.munication noise in CHPD.This algorithm provides a general framework to address more types of co.straint sets and separable objective functions than the existing stochastic ADMM.Different from the single noise sources co.sidered in the existing stochastic approximation methods,co.munication noise from multiple sources is addressed in both the local calculation and the variable update stages.Case studies of two test systems validate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed SAADMM.
