Bioactive molecules have shown great promise for effectively regulating various bone formation processes,rendering them attractive therapeutics for bone ***,the widespread application of bioactive molecules is limited by their low accumulation and short half-lives in *** have emerged as ideal carriers to address these challenges,offering the potential to prolong retention times at lesion sites,extend half-lives in vivo and mitigate side effects,avoid burst release,and promote adsorption under physiological *** review systematically summarizes the recent advances in the development of bioactive molecule-loaded hydrogels for bone regeneration,encompassing applications in cranial defect repair,femoral defect repair,periodontal bone regeneration,and bone regeneration with underlying ***,this review discusses the current strategies aimed at improving the release profiles of bioactive molecules through stimuli-responsive delivery,carrier-assisted delivery,and sequential ***,this review elucidates the existing challenges and future directions of hydrogel encapsulated bioactive molecules in the field of bone regeneration.

Analysis of Factors Influencing the Complications of Solitaire AB Stent Mechanical Thrombectomy in Patients with Acute Intracranial Artery Occlusion

To investigate the influence factors of hemorrhage and stroke with retriever with Solitaire AB stent in patients with acute intracranial artery ***:A retrospective of 43 cases of patients with acute intracranial artery occlusion for endovascular treatment with Solitaire AB stent enrolled from March 2016 to June 2018 in our hospital,combining the characteristics of the patients of our city,through the clinical baseline data statistical analysis,complications screening of risk factors of ***:There were 81.4%of patients who were dredged *** incidences of cerebral hemorrhage and infarction were 18.6%and 16.3%,cerebral hemorrhage group compared with control group,diabetes,blood pressure,revascularized time,NIHSS score,ASPECTS score had statistically significant differences,when infarction group compared with control group,age,opening time,ASITN_SIR score and grade of mTICI had statistically significant ***:Mechanical thrombectomy with Solitaire AB stent in patients with acute intracranial artery occlusion,the occurred of complications associated with various clinical factors,and the occurrence of complications seriously affect the prognosis of patients,therefore,selecting the indications strictly,and adopt individualized treatment to reduce complications.

Molecular Epidemiology and Clinical Characteristics of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease in North Sichuan Region, China, 2018-2023: A Descriptive Study

Background: Hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) remains an important public health problem in China. Many studies on the epidemiological characteristics of HFMD have been reported, but studies in North Sichuan region have been neglected. Methods: HFMD-related enterovirus infected cases were clinically confirmed and underwent real-time RT-PCR (rRT-PCR) from May 2018 to October 2023 in guangyuan central hospital. Results: During 2018-2023, other EV (437 cases, 81.08%) was the most predominant serotype followed by CV-A16 (94 cases, 17.44%), EV-A71 (8 cases, 1.48%) was the least predominant serotype. Peak infections occurred in July and October. There were no significant differences in gender, age and serotypes. HFMD was concentrated in children under 47 months of age, with the highest incidence in children aged 12 - 23 months and the highest proportion of other EV infections in the whole age group. COVID-19 did not cause significant changes in gender, age and serotype. Overall, there was a significant increase in the proportion of children aged 12 - 23 months infected with CV-A16, and an increase in the proportion of children aged over 36 months infected with other EVs. Conclusions: The incidence of HFMD caused by EV-A71 has decreased significantly, and other EVs have become the main pathogens of HFMD in North Sichuan region in recent years. In the prevention and control of CV-A16, more attention should be paid to children aged 12 - 23 months and the dominant serotype should be closely monitored. Our study highlights the importance of developing of new diagnostic reagents and vaccines for the prevention and control of enterovirus infection. This study for the first time provides insights into district interventions to local conditions.

Wound repair is a complex physiological process that often leads to bacterial infections,which significantly threaten human ***,developing wound-healing materials that promote healing and prevent bacterial infections is *** this study,the coordination interaction between sulfhydryl groups on dithiothreitol(DTT)and MoS_(2)nanosheets is investigated to synthesize a MoS_(2)-DTT nanozyme with photothermal properties and an improved free-radical scavenging ***-bond-modified hyaluronic acid is used as a monomer and is cross-linked with a PF127-DA *** is prepared in coordination with MoS_(2)-DTT as the functional *** hydrogel exhibits antioxidant and antibacterial properties,attributed to the catalytic activity of catalase-like enzymes and photothermal *** the near-infrared(NIR),it exhibits potent antibacterial effects against gram-positive(Staphylococcus aureus)and gram-negative bacteria(Escherichia coli),achieving bactericidal rates of 99.76%and 99.42%,***,the hydrogel exhibits remarkable reactive oxygen species scavenging and antioxidant capabilities,effectively countering oxidative stress in L929 ***,in an animal model,wounds treated with the PHMoD(2.0)and NIR laser heal the fastest,sealing completely within 10 *** results indicate the unique biocompatibility and bifunctionality of the PHMoD,which make it a promising material for wound-healing applications.

Recent Advances in Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia Protection and Therapy

For preterm infants, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) is usually caused by abnormal lung development due to various factors during prenatal and postnatal process. One of the reasons for death and bad prognosis of preterm infants is to have BPD. Up to now, there are no unified strategies or drugs to treat BPD. In clinical, many intervention treatments have been applied to achieve BPD therapy, mainly including preterm protection, protective ventilation strategies, and delivery of corticosteroids, pulmonary vasodilators, and antioxidants. This review summarizes the current advances in BPD protection and treatment, and notes that gut microbiota and mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) can be the promising strategy for protecting and treating BPD in the future.

A Clinical observation of the therapy for malignant hydrothorax by intra-thoracic injection using IL-2 combining with Cisplatin

Objective: The aim of our study was to explore the short-term effects and complication of interleukin-2 (IL-2) combining with Cisplatin in the treatment of malignant ***: Sixty-two cases patients with malignant hydrothorax were randomly divided into two *** group was 31 examples,thoracic cavity injection IL-2 and Cisplatin;31 cases in control group using Cisplatin alone intra-thoracic *** regime of every week for 1–4 weeks was used to observe short term effects and ***: The total response rate in observe group was higher than that in control group (90.3% vs.68.1%),which had statistically significant difference (P 0.05).Conclusion: The IL-2 combining with Cisplatin intra-thoracic injection for malignant hydrothorax has the features of good therapeutic effects and slight poisonous side effects,which is worth to be used in clinic.

Ultrasound assessment of left cardiac function in patients with gestational hypertension and its correlation with serum cytokine contents

Objective: To investigate the ultrasound assessment of left cardiac function in patients with gestational hypertension and its correlation with serum cytokine contents. Methods: A total of 76 patients with gestational hypertension who were treated in guangyuan central hospital between August 2015 and February 2017 were selected as gestational hypertension group, and 50 healthy pregnant women who received regular prenatal examination in guangyuan central hospital during the same period were selected as normal control group. The differences in the ultrasonic left cardiac function parameter levels as well as serum contents of endothelial injury indexes and inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups of pregnant women. Pearson test was used to assess the correlation of ultrasonic left cardiac function parameter levels of gestational hypertension with serum endothelial injury index and inflammatory factor contents. Results: LAVmax, LVESV and LVEDV levels in gestational hypertension group were significantly higher than those in normal control group;serum endothelial injury indexes NO and PGE2 contents were lower than those of normal control group whereas ET-1 content was higher than that of normal control group;serum inflammatory factors IL-2, IFN-γ, IL-10, IL-13, IL-17 and IL-23 contents were significantly higher than those of normal control group. Correlation analysis showed that the ultrasonic left cardiac function parameter levels in patients with gestational hypertension were directly correlated with serum content of endothelial injury indexes and inflammatory factors. Conclusion: Ultrasonic left cardiac function parameter levels significantly change in patients with gestational hypertension, and the specific levels are directly correlated with the degree of endothelial injury and inflammatory response in the pregnant women.

Improved stability and oral bioavailability of Ganneng dropping pills following transforming lignans of herpeto- spermum caudigerum into nanosuspensions

The present study was designed to improve storage stability and oral bioavailability of Ganneng dropping pills(GNDP) by transforming lignans of Herpetospermum caudigerum(HL) composed of herpetrione(HPE) and herpetin(HPN) into nanosuspension(HL-NS), the main active ingredient of GNDP, HL-NS was prepared by high pressure homogenization and lyophilized to transform into solid nanoparticles(HL nanoparticles), and then the formulated HL nanoparticles were perfused into matrix to obtain NS-GNDP by melting method. For a period of 3 months, the content uniformity, storage stability and pharmacokinetics test in vivo of NS-GNDP were evaluated and compared with regular GNDP at room temperature. The results demonstrated that uniformity of dosage units of NS-GNDP was acceptable according to the criteria of Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2015 J. Physical stability of NS-GNDP was investigated systemically using photon correlation spectroscopy(PCS), zeta potential measurement, and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). There was a slight increase in particles and PI of HL-NS re-dispersed from NS-GNDP after storage for 3 months, compared with new formulated NS-GNDP, which indicated a good redispersibility of the NS-GNDP containing HL-NS after storage. Besides, chemical stability of NS-GNDP was studied and the results revealed that HPE and HPN degradation was less when compared with that of GNDP, providing more than 99% of drug residue after storage for 3 months. In the dissolution test in vitro, NS-GNDP remarkably exhibited an increased dissolution velocity compared with GNDP and no distinct dissolution difference existed within 3 months. The pharmacokinetic study showed that HPE and HPN in NS-GNDP exhibited a significant increase in AUC0–t, Cmax and decrease in Tmax when compared with regular GNDP. These results indicated that NS-GNDP possessed superiority with improved storage stability and increased dissolution rate and oral bioavailability.

Primary pulmonary lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma(pLELC)is a rare non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)*** features have been described in our previous report,but molecular characteristics remain ***,pLELC genomic features were *** 41,574 lung cancers,128 pLELCS and 162 non-pLELC NSCLCS were *** cell death ligand 1(PD-L1)and protein 53(p53)expression was detected in 47 surgically resected pLELC samples by immunohistochemical *** genomic analyses,including whole-genome sequencing(WGS),RNA whole-transcriptome sequencing(RNA-seq),and Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)integration analyses,were performed on eight frozen pLELC tissues and compared with 50 lung adenocarcinomas(LUADs)and 50 lung squamous cell carcinomas(LUSCs)from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)and another 26 EBV-positive nasopharynx cancers(EBV+-NPCs).Progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS)of pLELC patients were better than those of non-pLELC *** PD-L1 or p53 expression was associated with extended disease free survival(DFS).pLELC had 14 frequently mutated genes(FMGs).Somatically mutated genes and enrichment of genetic lesions were found,which differed from observations in LUAD,LUSC,and EBV+-nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).Three tumor associated genes,zinc finger and BTB domain-containing 16(ZBTB16),peroxisome proliferator activated receptor gamma(PPARG),and transforming growth factor beta receptor 2(TGFBR2),were downregulated with copy number variation(CNV)*** was prone to integrating into intergenic and intronic regions with two upregulated miR-BamH1-A rightward transcripts(BARTs),BART5-3P and *** findings reveal that pLELC has a distinct genomic *** tumor associated genes with CNV loss and two miR-BARTs might be involved in pLELC tumorigenesis.
