In this paper,we consider a new differential variational inequality（DVI,for short）which is composed of an evolution equation and a variational inequality in infinite Banach spaces.This kind of problems may be regarded as a special feedback control problem.Based on the Browder＇s theorem and the optimal control theory,we show the existence of solutions to the mentioned problem.

The goal of this paper is to deal with a new dynamic system called a differential evolution hemivariational inequality(DEHVI)which couples an abstract parabolic evolution hemivariational inequality and a nonlinear differential equation in a Banach space.First,by apply ing surjectivity result for pseudomonotone multivalued mappins and the properties of Clarke's subgradient,we show the nonempty of the solution set for the parabolic hemivariational inequality.Then,some topological properties of the solution set are established such as boundedness,closedness and convexity.Furthermore,we explore the upper semicontinuity of the solution mapping.Finally,we prove the solution set of the system(DEHVI)is nonempty and the set of all trajectories of(DEHVI)is weakly compact in C(I,X).

This paper demonstrates the design and fabrication of three-dimensional(3 D) hexagonally ordered microbowl arrays(MBAs) decorated with Cu In S2 nanosheets for enhanced photoelectrochemical(PEC) performance. The 3 D MBAs are fabricated by a micro-fabrication technique. The ultrathin CuInS2 nanosheets are grown on the 3 D electrodes by solvothermal transformation of Cu film. The photocurrent density of 3 D photocathode(CuInS2@MBAs) is about two times higher than that of the planar counterpart(CuInS2@Planar). The improved PEC performance can be ascribed to the elevated light trapping ability and the increased surface area for loading photocatalysts. In addition, CdS quantum dots as cocatalysts are modified onto the Cu In S2 nanosheets to further enhance the PEC activity because the formed p-n heterojunction can accelerate the separation of photogenerated carriers. As a result, the 3 D photocathode of CuInS2/CdS@MBAs shows an optimal incident photon to current efficiency of 10% at the wavelength of400 nm. It is believed that this work can be generalized to design other hierarchical 3 D photoelectrodes for improved solar water splitting.

In this paper, an improved nonlinear process fault detection method is proposed based on modified kernel partial least squares(KPLS). By integrating the statistical local approach(SLA) into the KPLS framework, two new statistics are established to monitor changes in the underlying model. The new modeling strategy can avoid the Gaussian distribution assumption of KPLS. Besides, advantage of the proposed method is that the kernel latent variables can be obtained directly through the eigen value decomposition instead of the iterative calculation, which can improve the computing speed. The new method is applied to fault detection in the simulation benchmark of the Tennessee Eastman process. The simulation results show superiority on detection sensitivity and accuracy in comparison to KPLS monitoring.

This paper considers the global stability problem of the system comprising a pipe conveying fluid and a nonlinear energy sink(PCF-NES) system. First, a quadratic form model containing a gradient term of a convex function is obtained from a high-order partial-differential-equation model of the PCF-NES system using the Galerkin approximation approach. Energy and disturbance functionals are then established based on this model. Second, a Lyapunov function is constructed based on the first-order characteristic of the convexity and energy disturbance technique to prove the global exponential stability of the approximated PCF-NES system. Finally, theoretical results are verified using numerical simulations and the positive effect of the NES on the vibration control of the entire PCF is discussed.

In this paper, we are concerned with the existence of mild solution and controllability for a class of nonlinear fractional control systems with damping in Hilbert spaces.Our first step is to give the representation of mild solution for this control system by utilizing the general method of Laplace transform and the theory of(α, γ)-regularized families of operators. Next, we study the solvability and controllability of nonlinear fractional control systems with damping under some suitable sufficient conditions. Finally, two examples are given to illustrate the theory.

Container virtual technology aims to provide program independence and resource sharing.The container enables flexible cloud service.Compared with traditional virtualization,traditional virtual machines have difficulty in resource and expense requirements.The container technology has the advantages of smaller size,faster migration,lower resource overhead,and higher utilization.Within container-based cloud environment,services can adopt multi-target nodes.This paper reports research results to improve the traditional trust model with consideration of cooperation effects.Cooperation trust means that in a container-based cloud environment,services can be divided into multiple containers for different container nodes.When multiple target nodes work for one service at the same time,these nodes are in a cooperation state.When multi-target nodes cooperate to complete the service,the target nodes evaluate each other.The calculation of cooperation trust evaluation is used to update the degree of comprehensive trust.Experimental simulation results show that the cooperation trust evaluation can help solving the trust problem in the container-based cloud environment and can improve the success rate of following cooperation.
