Standardized Precipitation Index(SPI)and Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index(SPEI),traditionally derived at a monthly scale,are widely used drought *** overcome temporalresolution limitations,we have previously developed and published a well-validated daily SPI/SPEI in situ *** having a high temporal resolution,this in situ dataset presents low spatial resolution due to the scarcity of ***,based on the China Meteorological Forcing Dataset,which is composed of data from more than 1,000 ground-based observation sites and multiple remote sensing grid meteorological dataset,we present the first high spatiotemporal-resolution daily SPI/SPEI raster datasets over *** spans from 1979 to 2018,with a spatial resolution of 0.1°×0.1°,a temporal resolution of 1-day,and the timescales of 30-,90-,and *** show that the spatial distributions of drought event characteristics detected by the daily SPI/SPEI are consistent with the monthly SPI/*** correlation between the daily value of the 12-month scale and the monthly value of SPI/SPEI is the strongest,with linear correlation,Nash-Sutcliffe coefficient,and normalized root mean square error of 0.98,0.97,and 0.04,*** daily SPI/SPEI is shown to be more sensitive to flash drought than the monthly SPI/*** improved SPI/SPEI shows high accuracy and credibility,presenting enhanced results when compared to the monthly SPI/*** total data volume is up to 150 GB,compressed to 91 GB in Network Common Data Form(NetCDF).It can be available from Figshare(https://***/10.6084/***.c.5823533)and ScienceDB(https://***/10.57760/sciencedb.j00076.00103).

Steganalysis is a technique used for detecting the existence of secret information embedded into cover media such as images and ***,with the higher speed of the Internet,videos have become a kind of main methods for transferring *** latest video coding standard High Efficiency Video Coding(HEVC)shows better coding performance compared with the H.264/AVC standard published in the previous ***,since the HEVC was published,HEVC videos have been widely used as carriers of hidden *** this paper,a steganalysis algorithm is proposed to detect the latest HEVC video steganography method which is based on the modification of Prediction Units(PU)partition *** detect the embedded data,All the PU partition modes are extracted from P pictures,and the probability of each PU partition mode in cover videos and stego videos is adopted as the classification ***,feature optimization is applied,that the 25-dimensional steganalysis feature has been reduced to the 3-dimensional *** the Support Vector Machine(SVM)is used to identify stego *** is demonstrated in experimental results that the proposed steganalysis algorithm can effectively detect the stego videos,and much higher classification accuracy has been achieved compared with state-of-the-art work.

To solve the data island problem,federated learning(FL)provides a solution paradigm where each client sends the model parameters but not the data to a server for model ***-to-peer(P2P)federated learning further improves the robustness of the system,in which there is no server and each client communicates directly with the *** secure aggregation,secure multi-party computing(SMPC)protocols have been utilized in peer-to-peer ***,the ideal SMPC protocols could fail when some clients drop *** this paper,we propose a robust peer-to-peer learning(RP2PL)algorithm via SMPC to resist clients dropping *** improve the segmentbased SMPC protocol by adding a check and designing the generation method of random seg*** RP2PL,each client aggregates their models by the improved robust secure multi-part computation protocol when finishes the local *** results demonstrate that the RP2PL paradigm can mitigate clients dropping out with no significant degradation in performance.

Global extreme hydrological events pose considerable challenges to the sustainable development of human society and river *** use/cover change(LUCC)is a visible manifestation of human activity and has caused substantial alterations in extreme hydrological regimes across rivers *** Jinsha River lies upstream of the Yangtze River and its hydrological variability has had profound socioeconomic and environmental *** this study,we developed Hydrological Simulation Program–FORTRAN(HSPF)and land-use simulation models of the entire watershed to simulate the effects of LUCC on hydrological extremes and quantify the inter-relationships among *** main land-use changes between 1995 and 2015 were those associated with cropland,forest land,and *** 2015 and 2030,it is estimated that the coverage of forest land,grassland,construction land,and unused land will increase by 0.64%,0.18%,69.38%,and 45.08%,respectively,whereas that of cropland,water bodies,and snow-and ice-covered areas will decline by 8.02%,2.63%,and 0.89%,*** has had irregular effects on different hydrological regimes and has most severely altered stream *** responses of hydrological extremes to historical land-use change were characterized by spatial *** low flows increased by 0.54%–0.59%whereas extreme high flows increased by 0%–0.08%at the lowest *** to future land-use change will be amplified by a 0.72%–0.90%reduction in extreme low flows and a 0.08%–0.12%increase in extreme high *** hedging effect caused by irregular changes in tributary stream flow was found to alleviate the observed flow in mainstream rivers caused by land-use *** extreme hydrological regimes were affected mainly by the net swap area transferred from ice and snow area to forest(NSAIF)and thereafter to cultivated land(NSAIC).Extreme low flows were found to be positively correlated with NSAIF and NSAIC,whereas extreme high flows were positively

Improved lattice-based CCA2-secure PKE in the standard model

Based on the identity-based encryption(IBE) from lattices by Agrawal et al.(Eurocrypt’10),Micciancio and Peikert(Eurocrypt’12) presented a CCA1-secure public-key encryption(PKE), which has the best known efficiency in the standard model and can be used to obtain a CCA2-secure PKE from lattices by using the generic BCHK transform(SIAM J Comput, 2006) with a cost of introducing extra overheads to both computation and storage for the use of other primitives such as signatures and commitments. In this paper, we propose a more efficient standard model CCA2-secure PKE from lattices by carefully combining a different message encoding(which encodes the message into the most significant bits of the LWE’s "secret term") with several nice algebraic properties of the tag-based lattice trapdoor and the LWE problem(such as unique witness and additive homomorphism). Compared to the best known lattice-based CCA1-secure PKE in the standard model due to Micciancio and Peikert(Eurocrypt’12), we not only directly achieve the CCA2-security without using any generic transform(and thus do not use signatures or commitments), but also reduce the noise parameter roughly by a factor of 3. This improvement makes our CCA2-secure PKE more efficient in terms of both computation and storage. In particular, when encrypting a 256-bit(respectively,512-bit) message at 128-bit(respectively, 256-bit) security, the ciphertext size of our CCA2-secure PKE is even 33%–44%(respectively, 36%–46%) smaller than that of their CCA1-secure PKE.

Dissolved oxygen(DO)is one of most important factors which affect wide range physiologic features of including immune responses and intestinal bacterial ***,the underlying mechanisms remain *** address this question,the intestinal bacterial community compositions and the immune features of Atlantic salmon(Salmo salar)grown in recirculating aquaculture systems(RAS)were *** were reared under different DO saturation levels,e.g.,200% saturation named high group(H),100%saturation named control group(CK),and 60%saturation named lower group(L).Large variations in the operational taxonomic units(OTUs)frequency distribution for the intestinal bacterial community of Atlantic salmon were *** intestinal bacterial community of all groups was dominated mainly by three phyla,e.g.,***,and ***,Acinetobacter baumannii,an opportunistic pathogen of salmon was increased significantly in L *** further monitored the immunity features of fish under different DO *** results show that leucocyte number,cortisol level,the expressions of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4),and nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain like protein 2(NOD2)were higher at significant levels in the L group than those in the other two ***4 and NOD2 are usually related with the bacterial infections;therefore,it is reasonable to believe that the stronger immune responses observed in the L group might be related with the higher abundance of *** in the inte stine of Atlantic ***,these findings demonstrated that low DO level may induce stronger immunity responses in Atlantic salmon.

Photon upconversion has received substantial attention owing to its great promise in broad applications from bioimaging to other frontier fields like display,upconversion laser,information security and anticounterfeiting.A smart control and manipulation of the upconversion luminescence has always been a key topic,however,to date the most efficient mechanism for upconversion nanoparticles remains the energy transfer upconversion and recently reported energy migration mediated ***,we found that the interfacial energy transfer(IET)is also an efficient approach for enabling and tuning photon upconversion of lanthanide ***,it can be used for the mechanistic understanding of the interionic interactions such as energy transfer and energy migration on the *** this review,the recent advances of the research on the IET are summarized,the principles for designing IET process and typical examples are discussed together with its applications in both mechanistic research and frontier information *** challenges and perspectives for future research are also commented.

In this paper,we regard the nonlinear feedback shift register(NLFSR)as a special Boolean network,and use semi-tensor product of matrices and matrix expression of logic to convert the dynamic equations of NLFSR into an equivalent algebraic *** on them,we propose some novel and generalized techniques to study ***,a general method is presented to solve an open problem of how to obtain the properties(the number of fixed points and the cycles with different lengths)of the state sequences produced by a given NLFSR,i.e.,the analysis of a given *** then show how to construct all 22n-(l-n)/22n-lshortest n-stage feedback shift registers(nFSR)and at least 22n-(l-n)-1/22n-l-1shortest n-stage nonlinear feedback shift registers(nNLFSR)which can output a given nonperiodic/periodic sequence with length ***,we propose two novel cycles joining algorithms for the construction of full-length ***,two algorithms are presented to construct 22n-2-1different full-length nNLFSRs,respectively.

The isolated curved girder bridge's vibration characteristics play a major part in the seismic responses of structures and anti-seismic properties.A clear analytic relationship between design parameters and the system's vibration characteristics could be established by its simplified dynamic analysis model,making it convenient for providing a reference to the optimization of design and safety analysis.A double-mass six-degree-of-freedom model for curved girder bridges with isolation bearings installed at the top of the bridge piers is built and a simplified analysis method for the vibration characteristics of the system is *** with the Matlab programming,the influences of radius of curvature,central angle,bridge deck width and damping ratio of the isolation layer and circular frequency of the isolation layer of isolated curved girder bridges on the pseudo-undamped natural circular frequency(called pseudo-frequency for short)and system damping ratio are systematically analyzed,and the sensitivity of vibration characteristics of isolated curved girder bridges is *** results show that the vibration characteristics of isolated curved girder bridges can be reflected well with this simplified model and calculation *** pseudo-frequency of curved girder and system damping ratios increases with the increase of the isolation *** third-order vibration characteristic is more sensitive to the parameters of a curved girder,and the first-order vibration characteristic is sensitive to both central angle and radius of curvature to some extent while insensitive to the width of the bridge ***,the second-order vibration characteristic is not sensitive to the parameters of a curved girder.
