Study on Sustained-Release Pesticides Blended with Fosthiazate-Stearic Acid/Expanded Perlite

The low utilization rate of pesticides makes the migration of pesticides in water and soil,which brings great harm to the *** development of pesticide carriers with good drug loading capacity and release control abil-ity is an effective method to realize effective utilization of pesticides and reduce pesticide *** this work,fosthiazate-stearic acid/expanded perlite sustained-release particles were successfully prepared by vacuum impregnation using expanded perlite(EP)as carrier,fosthiazate(FOS)as model pesticide and stearic acid(SA)as hydrophobic *** structure and morphology of the samples were studied by BET,FT-IR,TGA,XRD,DSC and *** effects of different mass ratios of FOS to SA on loading capacity and release rate at 24 h were *** sustained release behavior of FOS-SA/EP at different temperatures and pH values was investigated by static dialysis bag *** results showed that FOS and SA were adsorbed in EP pores by physical *** the mass ratios of FOS to SA decreasing from 7:3 to 3:7,the 24 h release rate of FOS-SA/EP decreased from 18.77%to 8.05%,and the drug loading decreased from 461.32 to 130.99 mg/***-SA/EP showed obvious temperature response at 25℃,30℃ and 35℃,the cumulative release rate(CRR)of 200 h were 33.38%,41.50%and 51.17%,*** pH=5,the CRR of FOS was higher than that of pH=7,and the CRR of FOS for 200 h were 49.01%and 30.12%,*** different temperatures and pH=5,the release mechanism of FOS-SA/EP belongs to the Fickian diffusion mechanism;When pH=7,the diffusion mechanism is dominant,and the dissolution mechanism is complementary.

Effect of cefodizime on cytokines expression in mouse neutrophils and its related mechanism

Objective: To explore the regulating effects of cefodizime on cytokines expression of neutrophil response to Klebsiella pneumoniae (Kle. p) treatment. Methods: We detected the types and expression of cytokines secreted by neutrophils by cDNA array and RT-PCR. We also analyzed the changes of signal transduction in this process by detecting the expression of toll like receptor 4 (TLR4) and the inhibitor factor of κBα (I-κBα) expressed by neutrophils. The activity of NF-κB DNA-binding in neutrophils was measured by electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA). Results: Cefodizime increased the neutrophils production of TNF-α, IL-1β and the mRNA expression of TLR4 in the early stage of Kle. p stimulation in mice, which seemed corresponding to the enhanced NF-κB DNA-binding activity. Conclusion: Cefodizime regulates the cytokines expression of neutrophils through the LPS-TLR4-NF-κB pathway by affecting the expression of TLR4 mRNA and the DNA binding activities of NF-κB in mice with the challenge of Kle. p.

Effect of acupuncture at three different acupoints on electrical activity of gastric distention-affected neurons in rat medial vestibular nucleus

OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of gastric distention(GD) and acupuncture at three different acupoints on the spontaneous discharge of neurons in the medial vestibular nucleus(MVN), and to clarify the specific function of the MVN in the central integration mechanism underlying acupuncture ***: GD was conducted using a balloon inserted in the stomach cavity, and acupuncture was performed separately at each of three acupoints:Zusanli(ST 36), Quchi(LI 11), and Weishu(BL 21).The effect of acupuncture and GD on the spontaneous discharge of MVN neurons was assessed using a glass microelectrode filled with a sodium acetate electrolyte solution containing 1% pontamine sky blue; the discharge signals from the neurons were amplified by the microelectrode amplifier and recorded in the Spike2 ***: GD and acupuncture significantly affected the spontaneous discharge of MVN neurons. Furthermore, acupuncture at Zusanli(ST 36) and Weishu(BL 21) was significantly more effective at altering the discharge of GD-responsive MVN neurons compared with GD-nonresponsive ***: GD and acupuncture at three different acupoints affected the electrical activity of MVN neurons. The MVN is involved in the central integration mechanism underlying acupuncture regulation of gastric functions. The effects of acupuncture on gastric function may therefore be mediated via these particular MVN neurons.

This review aims to identify in vivo studies investigating the potential of plant substances and their natural molecules in managing inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).Specifically,the objective is to examine the impact of these substances on interleukins and other key inflammatory signaling *** articles published up to December 2022 were identified through a search of the PubMed,Scopus,Web of Science,and Embase *** search used keywords including“inflammatory bowel disease”,“medicinal plants”,“natural molecules”,“anti-inflammatory”,and“ulcerative colitis”,and identified 1,878 potentially relevant articles,of which 89 were included in this review after completion of the selection *** study provides preclinical data on natural products(NPs)that can potentially treat IBD,including ulcerative *** main actions of these NPs relate to their effects on nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κβ),the Janus kinase(JAK)/signal transducer and activator of transcription(STAT)signaling pathway,the regulation of T helper 17/regulatory T cells balance,and oxidative *** ability of these NPs to inhibit intestinal inflammation appears to be dependent on lowering levels of the pro-inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-1β,and IL-17,via the Jun N-terminal kinase(JNK)1,NF-κβ-p65,and STAT3 *** addition,NPs were shown to reduce oxidative stress and the severity of ulcerative colitis,as well as increase the activity of antioxidant *** actions suggest that NPs represent a promising treatment for IBD,and potentially have greater efficacy and safety than current treatments.

Effect of Different Fruiting Treatments on the Enzymic Activity of Tricholoma giganteum Mycelia

In order to achieve the transformation from the conventional soil-covering cultivation of Tricholoma giganteum with bags to the soilless cultivation with bottles and understand the mechanism of primordium formation of Tricholoma giganteum,with Tricholoma giganteum mycelia as experimental materials,this paper studied the effect of different fruiting treatments on the activity of three enzymes in different *** results showed that from the mycelial recovery to primardial formation and budding under three treatment groups which could form primordium,the tyrosinase activity was relatively stable,and under two treatment groups which could not form primordium,the tyrosinase activity dropped after the rise and reached a maximum on the 9 th day,significantly higher than under the other three groups,indicating that too high tyrosinase inhibited primardial formation; the prolease and amylase activity was effectively activated before primardial formation,and the enzymic activity was significantly higher than under the two treatment groups which could not form primordium.

采用氮烷基化、羟基保护、醛酮缩合三步反应合成了16个新型单羰基姜黄素类似物,结构经质谱、核磁共振氢谱和共振碳谱等手段进行确认。并采用MTT染色法体外检测所合成的16个单羰基姜黄素类似物对人肺癌细胞H1299、结肠癌细胞HT-29、人胰腺癌细胞Bx PC-3和人前列腺癌细胞PC-3的抗癌活性。半数抑制浓度IC50值结果显示:所合成的16个姜黄素类似物对四种细胞均有较强的抑制作用,其中化合物A1和B3在四种细胞中的半数抑制浓度IC50均在1μmol/L以下。

Chemotherapy is still a kind of important strategy for cancer treatment,but lacking effective delivery system limits the therapeutic *** to the excellent biocompatibility,albumin has been employed as drug vehicle;however,it has to face complicated synthesis procedures and still needs an effective technology for the drug delivery *** this study,a facile method was utilized to prepare a protein-based theranostic system through the self-assembly of albumins with small molecules and drugs;furthermore,the paramagnetic divalent manganese ions were conjugated on the surface of the nanocomposite through a coordination bond and carried out the magnetic resonance *** nanosystem with a stable structure exhibited about 80 nanometer size and 7.7[Mn]mM-1S-1 T1 relaxivity;moreover,the pH-sensitive drug releasing property and the imaging function empower it with theranostic cancer ***,the nanocomposites effectively entered into the cancer cells and showed superior antitumor ability;and these treated cells exhibited significant T1 *** results suggested that the albumin-based nanosystem is a novel chemotherapy drug delivery vehicle and a promising candidate for magnetic resonance imaging.

Effective components of Chinese herbs reduce central nervous system function decline induced by iron overload

Abnormally increased levels of iron in the brain trigger cascade amplification in Alzheimer＇s dis- ease patients, resulting in neuronal death. This study investigated whether components extracted from the Chinese herbs epimedium herb, milkvetch root and kudzuvine root could relieve the abnormal expression of iron metabolism-related protein in Alzheimer＇s disease patients. An APPs,~JPSI^E9 double transgenic mouse model of Alzheimer＇s disease was used. The intragas- tric administration of compounds from epimedium herb, milkvetch root and kudzuvine root improved pathological alterations such as neuronal edema, increased the number of neurons, downregulated divalent metal transporter 1 expression, upregulated ferroportin 1 expression, and inhibited iron overload in the cerebral cortex of mice with Alzheimer＇s disease. These com- pounds reduced iron overload-induced impairment of the central nervous system, indicating a new strategy for developing novel drugs for the treatment of Alzheimer＇s disease.

Nanoparticles-based drug delivery systems have attracted significant attention in biomedical fields because they can deliver loaded cargoes to the target site in a controlled ***,tremendous challenges must still be overcome to reach the expected targeting and therapeutic efficacy in *** challenges mainly arise because the interaction between nanoparticles and biological systems is complex and dynamic and is influenced by the physicochemical properties of the nanoparticles and the heterogeneity of biological ***,once the nanoparticles are injected into the blood,a protein corona will inevitably form on the *** protein corona creates a new biological identity which plays a vital role in mediating the bio–nano interaction and determining the ultimate ***,it is essential to understand how the protein corona affects the delivery journey of nanoparticles in vivo and what we can do to exploit the protein corona for better delivery *** this review,we first summarize the fundamental impact of the protein corona on the delivery journey of ***,we emphasize the strategies that have been developed for tailoring and exploiting the protein corona to improve the transportation behavior of nanoparticles in ***,we highlight what we need to do as a next step towards better understanding and exploitation of the protein *** hope these insights into the“Yin and Yang”effect of the protein corona will have profound implications for understanding the role of the protein corona in a wide range of nanoparticles.
