The purpose of this paper is to examine the development of a curriculum in Japan to foster the agency(OECD Student Agency)necessary for children living in the future,as outlined in the OECD Education2030 Project,and the role of teachers who implement this ***,I aim to achieve this goal by taking an overview of educational thought,educational systems and history,and examining several initiatives in the OECD Project and the situation of a Japanese high school that practices science and mathematics *** a result of analyzing previous research and the narratives obtained from interviews with Teacher A(pseudonym)of a certain F High School(pseudonym),it was found that school education should not simply teach subjects,but should aim to enable student to help student exercise agency in the *** was suggested that it is not necessary to add content to the curriculum,but rather to prepare to provide students with competencies that will enable them to use the content in various contexts,situations,and circumstances,suggesting that in order to discover such important competencies,teachers and other related parties are required to implement curricula that allow students to slowly and carefully explore the competencies surrounding the content,and to conceive and build curricula that include both hidden and intended curriculum that allows student to reflect on the curriculum they have achieved.

Andrias davidianus(Chinese giant salamander,CGS)is the largest and oldest extant amphibian species in the world and is a source of prospective functional food in ***,the progress of functional peptides mining was slow due to lack of reference genome and protein sequence *** this study,we illustrated full-length transcriptome sequencing to interpret the proteome of CGS meat and obtain 10703 coding DNA *** functional annotation and amino acid composition analysis,we have discovered various genes related to signal transduction,and 16 genes related to *** have also found vast variety of functional peptides through protein coding sequence(CDS)analysis by comparing the data obtained with the functional peptide ***-Pro-Ile predicted by the CDS analysis was released from the CGS meat through enzymatic hydrolysis,suggesting that our approach is *** study suggested that transcriptomic analysis can be used as a reference to guide polypeptide mining in CGS meat,thereby providing a powerful mining strategy for the bioresources with unknown genomic and proteomic sequences.

Growing evidence suggests an association between epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT),a hallmark of tumor malignancy,and chemoresistance to a number of anti-cancer ***,the mechanism of EMT induction in the process of acquiring anti-cancer drug resistance remains *** address this issue,we obtained a number of cisplatin-resistant clones from LoVo cells and found that almost all of them lost cell-cell *** these clones,the epithelial marker E-cadherin was downregulated,whereas the mesenchymal marker N-cadherin was ***,the expression of EMT-related transcription factors,including Slug,was *** the other hand,the upregulation of other mesenchymal marker Vimentin was weak,suggesting that the mesenchymal-like phenotypic changes occurred in these cisplatin-resistant *** mesenchymal-like features of cisplatin-resistant clones were partially reversed to parental epithelial-like features by treatment with transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)receptor kinase inhibitors,indicating that TGF-βsignaling is involved in cisplatin-induced the mesenchymallike phenotypic ***,cisplatin was observed to enhance the secretion of TGF-βinto the culture media without influencing TGF-βgene *** results suggest that cisplatin may induce the mesenchymal-like phenotypic changes by enhancing TGF-βsecretion,ultimately resulting in drug resistance.

Twenty years ago, the transplantation of spermatogonial stem cells （SSCs） from a mouse to other recipient mice was shown to be feasible, which clearly demonstrated the functional identity of SSCs. Since then, several important new findings and other technical developments have followed, which included a new hypothesis on their cell kinetics and spermatogonial hierarchy in the testis, a culture method allowing their self-renewal and proliferation, a testis tissue organ culture method, which induced their complete differentiation up to sperm, and the in vitro induction of germ cells from embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells. These advancements reinforced or advanced our understanding of this unique cell. Nonetheless, there are many unresolved questions in the study of spermatogonial stem cells and a long road remains until these cells can be used clinically in reproductive medicine.

In the construction of resilient cities,regional air pollution prevention plays a pivotal *** on the previous research experience,the relationship between air pollution concentration and urban size exhibits a sublinear allometric growth *** identify effective strategies for mitigating particulate matter air pollution,this study quantitatively explored 6 variables influencing urbanization in China’s cities and established an allometry *** analysis was conducted using data from 293 prefecturelevel cities and 1,827 county-level cities to examine the relationship between annual concentrations of fine particulate matter PM_(2.5) and PM_(10) in the atmosphere.①The findings of this study provided partial validation for the Kuznets curve and demonstrated a reverse‘U’-shaped association between urbanization and levels of PM_(2.5) and PM_(10) pollution.②By partitioning the Hu Huanyong line,this study identified the spatial distribution pattern of PM_(2.5) and PM_(10).In central and western regions,as urban size expands,inhalable particle concentrations tended to increase further;whereas in the southeast region,inhalable particle concentrations gradually decreased and stabilized after a certain threshold of urban scale expansion was *** the factors influencing urban size,green coverage within built-up areas exerted the most significant impact on both PM_(2.5) and PM_(10) concentrations,followed by the extent of built-up areas and the scale of secondary *** study presented an effective strategy for reconciling conflicts between urban expansion and air pollution management,while concurrently promoting resilient cities characterized by high levels of modernization and superior quality.

This paper examines how advisors perceive the voices made by Mr.A(pseudonym),the founder of after-school support for children(Initiative Z:pseudonym)in Japan,to advisors who support ***,the purpose of this study is to find out how advisors think about the voices and that the voices have led or not advisors to support children,if to do so,what points are key to continuing support for ***,in Initiative Z,I conducted a survey of two advisors who were approached by Mr.A,who is involved in supporting children as an *** a result of analyzing the narratives obtained from interviews with the two advisors,it was found that the advisor had a sense of being recognized by Mr.A because Mr.A acknowledged the advisor’s way of *** feeling on the part of the advisor led to trust in Mr.A,and the advisor was in tune with Mr.A’s thoughts on after-school support,suggesting that the advisor was providing support to the child.

AIM: To elucidate the mechanisms of hepatocyte preconditioning by H2O2 to better understand the pathophysiology of ischemic preconditioning. METHODS: The in vitro effect of H2O2 pretreatment was investigated in rat isolated hepatocytes subjected to anoxia/reoxygenation. Cell viability was assessed with propidium iodide fluorometry. In other experiments, rat livers were excised and subjected to warm ischemia/ reperfusion in an isolated perfused liver system to determine leakage of liver enzymes. Preconditioning was performed by H2O2 perfusion, or by stopping the perfusion for 10 min followed by 10 min of reperfusion. To inhibit Kupffer cell function or reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) oxidase, gadolinium chloride was injected prior to liver excision, or diphenyleneiodonium, an inhibitor of NADPH oxidase, was added to the perfusate, respectively. Histological detection of oxygen radical formation in Kupffer cells was performed by perfusion with nitro blue tetrazolium. RESULTS: Anoxia/reoxygenation decreased hepatocyte viability compared to the controls. Pretreatment with H2O2 did not improve such hepatocyte injury. In liver perfusion experiments, however, H2O2 preconditioning reduced warm ischemia/reperfusion injury, which wasreversed by inhibition of Kupffer cell function or NADPH oxidase. Histological examination revealed that H2O2 preconditioning induced oxygen radical formation in Kupffer cells. NADPH oxidase inhibition also reversed hepatoprotection by ischemic preconditioning. CONCLUSION: H2O2 preconditioning protects hepato- cytes against warm ischemia/reperfusion injury via NADPH oxidase in Kupffer cells, and not directly. NADPH oxidase also mediates hepatoprotection by ischemic preconditioning.

BACKGROUND The oral nucleos(t)ide analogue,entecavir(ETV)was demonstrated to reduce the rate of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)in patients with hepatitis B virus(HBV)-associated liver ***,the reduction of HCC differs in various regions of the *** To investigate the reduction of HCC development due to ETV therapy by *** We surveyed the differences in HCC development following ETV treatment based on published articles using PubMed(2004-2019).RESULTS The regions with the most marked reduction in HCC development due to ETV therapy were Spain(1.0%/year)and Canada(Southern part,1.3%/year),and the most ineffective areas were South Korea(3.6%-3.8%/year),China(3.3%/year),Taiwan(2.4%-3.1%/year),and Hong Kong(2.8%/year).Following ETV administration,the incidence of HCC in genotype D regions(1.89%±0.28%/year,mean±SE)was significantly lower than that in genotype C regions(2.91%±0.24%/year,Passociation between the prevalence ratio of HBV and the incidence of HCC on ETV *** The effectiveness of ETV in preventing HCC development in HBV-associated liver cirrhosis is genotype-dependent.
