Insect-specific neurotoxic peptides derived from the venoms of scorpions and spiders can cause acute paralysis and death when injected into insects,offering a promising insecticidal component for insect pest ***,effective delivery systems are required to help neurotoxic peptides pass through the gut barrier into the hemolymph,where they can ***,we investigated the potential of a novel nanocarrier,Drosophila X virus-like particle(DXV-VLP),for delivering a neurotoxin from the scorpion Androctonus australis Hector(AaIT)against the invasive pest fruit fly,Drosophila *** results show that the fusion proteins of DXV polyproteins with AalT peptide at their Ctermini could be sufficiently produced in Lepidoptera Hi5 cells in a soluble form using the recombinant baculovirus expression system,and could self-assemble into VLPs with similar particle morphology and size to authentic DXV *** addition,the AalT peptides displayed on DXV-VLPs retained their toxicity,as demonstrated in injection bioassays that resulted in severe mortality(72%)in adults after 72 *** fed to adults,mild mortality was observed in the group treated with DXV-AalT(38%),while no mortality occurred in the group treated with AaIT peptide,thus indicating the significant role of DXV-VLPs in delivering AalT ***,this proof-of-concept study demonstrates for the first time that VLPs can be exploited to enhance oral delivery of insect-specific neurotoxic peptides in the context of pest ***,it provides insights for further improvements and potentially the development of neurotoxin-based bioinsecticides and/or transgenic crops for insect pest control.

The emergence of new media in various fields has continuously strengthened the social aspect of social *** tend to express emotions in social interactions,and many people even use satire,metaphors,and other techniques to express some negative emotions,it is necessary to detect sarcasm in social comment *** sarcasm,the more reference data modalities used,the better the experimental *** paper conducts research on sarcasm detection technology based on image-text fusion *** effectively utilize the features of each modality,a feature reconstruction output algorithm is *** algorithm is based on the attention mechanism,learns the low-rank features of another modality through cross-modality,the eigenvectors are reconstructed for the corresponding modality through weighted *** only the image modality in the dataset is used,the preprocessed data has outstanding performance in reconstructing the output model,with an accuracy rate of 87.6%.When using only the text modality data in the dataset,the reconstructed output model is optimal,with an accuracy rate of 85.2%.To improve feature fusion between modalities for effective classification,a weight adaptive learning algorithm is *** algorithm uses a neural network combined with an attention mechanism to calculate the attention weight of each modality to achieve weight adaptive learning purposes,with an accuracy rate of 87.9%.Extensive experiments on a benchmark dataset demonstrate the superiority of our proposed model.

To improve the survivability of orbiting spacecraft against space debris impacts,we propose an impact damage assessment ***,a multi-area damage mining model,which can describe damages in different spatial layers,is built based on an infrared thermal image ***,to identify different impact damage types from infrared image data effectively,the variational Bayesian inference is used to solve for the parameters in the ***,an image-processing framework is proposed to eliminate variational Bayesian errors and compare locations of different damage *** includes an image segmentation algorithm with an energy function and an image fusion method with sparse *** the experiment,the proposed method is used to evaluate the complex damages caused by the impact of the secondary debris cloud on the rear wall of the typical Whipple shield *** results show that it can effectively identify and evaluate the complex damage caused by hypervelocity impact,including surface and internal defects.

Sludge granulation and the effect of gas-liquid-solid separator （GLSS） design on the efficiency of upflow anaerobic sludge blanket （UASB） and upflow anaerobic sludge filter （UASF） reactors, operating at HRTs ranging from 3 to 12 h was investigated. VSS/TS ratio gradually increased in both the reactors with increasing sludge age （from 0.5 to more than 0.7 for UASB reactor and 0.012 to 0.043 for UASF reactor）. X-Ray diffraction analysis of the UASF sludge showed the presence of expanding clays revealing its additional absorption capability. Fuoraphyllite and albite precipitation related to excellular polymers of the microbial shell structure, showed the extended growth of microorganisms during sludge granulation. A gradual decrease （82%-69%） in COD removal with decreasing HRT was apparent in UASF reactor. In case of UASB reactor, this decrease was marginal because addition of GLSS device significantly improved （14%-20%） the overall efficiency of the UASB reactor. GLSS enhanced the efficiency of the UASB reactor by increasing the settleability of suspended particles and accelerating the coagulation of colloidal particles due to the velocity gradient.

Suicide has become a critical concern,necessitating the development of effective preventative *** media platforms offer a valuable resource for identifying signs of suicidal *** progress in detecting suicidal ideation on social media,accurately identifying individuals who express suicidal thoughts less openly or infrequently poses a significant *** tackle this,we have developed a dataset focused on Chinese suicide narratives from Weibo’s Tree Hole feature and introduced an ensemble model named Text Convolutional Neural Network based on Social Network relationships(TCNN-SN).This model enhances predictive performance by leveraging social network relationship features and applying correction factors within a weighted linear fusion *** is specifically designed to identify key individuals who can help uncover hidden suicidal users and *** model,assessed using the bespoke dataset and benchmarked against alternative classification approaches,demonstrates superior accuracy,F1-score and AUC metrics,achieving 88.57%,88.75%and 94.25%,respectively,outperforming traditional TextCNN models by 12.18%,10.84%and 10.85%.We assert that our methodology offers a significant advancement in the predictive identification of individuals at risk,thereby contributing to the prevention and reduction of suicide incidences.

Laminectomy is one of the most common posterior spinal operations. Since the lamina is adjacent to important tissues such as nerves, once damaged, it can cause serious com-plications and even lead to paralysis. In order to prevent the above injuries and com-plications, ultrasonic bone scalpel and surgical robots have been introduced into spinal laminectomy, and many scholars have studied the recognition method of the bone tissue status. Currently, almost all methods to achieve recognition of bone tissue are based on sensor signals collected by high‐precision sensors installed at the end of surgical robots. However, the previous methods could not accurately identify the state of spinal bone tissue. Innovatively, the identification of bone tissue status was regarded as a time series classification task, and the classification algorithm LSTM‐FCN was used to process fusion signals composed of force and cutting depth signals, thus achieving an accurate classi-fication of the lamina bone tissue status. In addition, it was verified that the accuracy of the proposed method could reach 98.85% in identifying the state of porcine spinal laminectomy. And the maximum penetration distance can be controlled within 0.6 mm, which is safe and can be used in practice.

The self-imaging effect in a square core fiber has been investigated, and an integrated all-fiber combiner has been proposed based on a large mode area double clad fiber, which can be employed to construct high power coherent beam combining sources in the all-fiber format. The influence of various parameters on beam quality(M^(2)) and efficiency of the all-fiber coherent beam combiner has been studied numerically, which reveals that the near diffraction-limited laser beam can be achieved. A principle demonstration of the self-imaging effect has been carried out experimentally in a square core fiber, which proves the feasibility of beam combining with the square fiber, and that it is a promising way to develop high power coherent beam combination sources.

The effects of vanadium(V)on the microstructures and mechanical properties of the TiC cermet fusion welding interface were studied by adjusting the content of V in the self-developed flux-cored wires using metal inert gas arc(MIG)welding for surfacing on the TiC *** results show that the increase in V content promotes the element diffusion between TiC cermet and weld *** are no de-fects observed in the interface,and the diffusion of elements refers to excellent metallurgical *** shear strength of the fusion zone initially decreases and then increases with the increase in V *** maximum shear strength of the TiC cermet/weld interface,reaching 552 MPa,occurred when the V content reached 0.65%.Meanwhile,the average hardness in the transition zone reached 488.2 HV0.2.
