This paper systematically investigates the exact solutions to an extended(2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq equation,which arises in several physical applications,including the propagation of shallow-water waves,with the help of the Lie symmetry analysis *** acquired the vector fields,commutation relations,optimal systems,two stages of reductions,and exact solutions to the given equation by taking advantage of the Lie group *** method plays a crucial role to reduce the number of independent variables by one in each stage and finally forms an ODE which is solved by taking relevant suppositions and choosing the arbitrary constants that appear ***,Lie symmetry analysis(LSA)is implemented for perceiving the symmetries of the Boussinesq equation and then culminating the solitary wave *** behavior of the obtained results for multiple cases of symmetries is obtained in the present framework and demonstrated through three-and two-dimensional dynamical wave *** solutions show single soliton,multiple solitons,elastic behavior of combo soliton profiles,and stationary waves,as can be seen from the *** outcomes of the present investigation manifest that the considered scheme is systematic and significant to solve nonlinear evolution equations.

Three fragments of the Archean oceanic crust have been found between the Archean granulite belt and the Paleo-Proterozoic Hongqiyingzi group in North China craton, which spread along the Shangyi-Chicheng ancient fault. This paper presents integrated field, petrology, geochemistry and geochronology evidence of the ancient oceanic fragments. The magma crystallizing age of the tonalite in the Shangyi complex is 2512±19 Ma and the geochemical characteristics suggest that the Nbenriched basalts may be related to crustal contamination and formed in the intra-oceanic arc of the supra subduction zone setting.

Early warning system for shallow landslides using rainfall threshold and slope stability analysis

A combined cluster and regression analysis were performed for the first time to identify rainfall threshold that triggers landslide events in Amboori, Kerala, India. Amboori is a tropical area that is highly vulnerable to landslides. The 2, 3, and 5-day antecedent rainfall data versus daily rainfall was clustered to identify a cluster of critical events that could potentially trigger landslides. Further, the cluster of critical events was utilized for regression analysis to develop the threshold equations. The 5-day antecedent(xvariable) vs. daily rainfall(y-variable) provided the best fit to the data with a threshold equation of y = 80.7-0.1981 x. The intercept of the equation indicates that if the 5-day antecedent rainfall is zero, the minimum daily rainfall needed to trigger the landslide in the Amboori region would be 80.7 mm. The negative coefficient of the antecedent rainfall indicates that when the cumulative antecedent rainfall increases, the amount of daily rainfall required to trigger monsoon landslide decreases. The coefficient value indicates that the contribution of the 5-day antecedent rainfall is～20% to the landslide trigger threshold. The slope stability analysis carried out for the area, using Probabilistic Infinite Slope Analysis Model(PISA-m), was utilized to identify the areas vulnerable to landslide in the region. The locations in the area where past landslides have occurred demonstrate lower Factors of Safety(FS) in the slope stability analysis. Thus, rainfall threshold analysis together with the FS values from slope stability can be suitable for developing a simple, cost-effective, and comprehensive early-warning system for shallow landslides in Amboori and similar regions.

Recently,McDonald et al.(2020)proposed that complement causes a metabolic switch to lipid consumption in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS),which raises the possibility of complement as a global immunometabolic *** ALS,neuromuscular degeneration occurs concurrently with complement-mediated inflammation,glucose intolerance,and elevated lipid ***,complement is being increasingly recognized as a metabolic regulator that can induce insulin resistance and alter fuel source ***,the authors propose that chronic complement activation may be driving metabolic reprogramming in ALS,which has broad implications for the field of immunometabolism and would be the first mechanistic explanation of the“lipid switch”in ***,it suggests that complement can drive a global shift in resources during inflammation,in which glucose is redirected from peripheral tissues to immune cells to support their inflammatory actions.

Objectives: Diabetes is one of the most life-threatening chronic metabolic disorders and is considered a global health problem due to its prevalence and incidence. In Morocco, several herbal preparations are utilized to treat this disease. For this reason, the current study aimed to identify and to collect data about the medicinal plants utilized in folk medicine for the treatment of diabetes in the Beni Mellal region of ***: An ethnobotanical survey was carried out among 400 herbalists, competent villagers and traditional healers from the Beni Mellal region through direct interviews using a semistructured ***: Forty-five medicinal plants belonging to 25 families were identified for their use in diabetes treatment. Interview results showed that the most frequently used plants were Olea europaea, Salvia officinalis, Allium sativum and Trigonella foenum-graecum, with a relative frequency of citation values of24.3%, 23.0%, 22.5% and 20.5%, respectively. Moreover, in this study, the Fabaceae family was the most commonly reported plant family, and the leaves and roots were the most commonly used parts, for the treatment of ***: The Beni Mellal region of Morocco has an important floristic biodiversity of plants used to treat diabetes in traditional medicinal practice. This result provides a good database for pharmacological screenings in the search for plant-based antidiabetic medications.

In [4], a new family W（L^p（x）, Lm^q） of Wiener amalgam spaces was defined and investigated some properties of these spaces, where local component is a variable exponent Lebesgue space L^p（x）（R） and the global component is a weighted Lebesgue space Lm^q （R）. This present paper is a sequel to our work [4]. In Section 2, we discuss necessary and sufficient conditions for the equality W （L^p（x）, Lm^q） = L^q （R）. Later we give some characterization of Wiener amalgam space W （L^p（x）, Lm^q）.In Section 3 we define the Wiener amalgam space W （FL^p（x）, Lm^q） and investigate some properties of this space, where FL^p（x） is the image of L^p（x） under the Fourier transform. In Section 4, we discuss boundedness of the Hardy- Littlewood maximal operator between some Wiener amalgam spaces.

In this study,a specific and rapid high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)method has been developed and validated for the simultaneous determination of amoxicillin,lansoprazole,and levofloxacin in *** was used as internal standard(IS)in the ***-Vis absorption spectra of the analytes and the IS were taken for the determination of suitable absorption wavelength of UV-Vis detector(diode array detector,DAD)in the HPLC instrument.A reverse-phase C18 column was used in the separation and determination of amoxicillin,lansoprazole,and levofloxacin together with the *** pharmaceutical analytes were quantified by the UV-Vis diode array detector in the HPLC using MeOH-0.01 M CH_(3)COONH_(4)(70:30)as the mobile *** linear calibration curves of them were measured in the ranges of 15-40 mg/L,2.5-15.0 mg/L,and 7.5-20.0 mg/L for amoxicillin,lansoprazole,and levofloxacin,*** calibration correlations(R^(2):0.9942,0.9997,and 0.9974)were *** percentage recoveries of the amoxicillin,lan-soprazole,and levofloxacin in commercial pharmaceuticals were obtained as 105.5%,98.57%,and 102.5%,*** results showed that amoxicillin,lansoprazole,and levofloxacin together with paracetamol IS could be separated and determined simultaneously with low LOD and LOQ values using the proposed HPLC method.

Many studies demonstrate that conventional anticancer drugs elevate intracellular level of reactive oxygen species （ROS） and alter redox-homeostasis of cancer cells. It is widely accepted that anticancer effect of these chemotherapeutics is due to induction of oxidative stress and ROS-mediated apoptosis in cancer. On the other hand, the harmful side effects of conventional anticancer chemotherapy are also due to increased production of ROS and disruption of redox-homeostasis of normal cells and tissues. This article describes the mechanisms for triggering and modulation of apoptosis through ROS-dependent and ROS^independent pathways. We try to answer the question：＂Is it possible to induce highly specific apoptosis only in cancer cells, without overproduction of ROS, as well as without harmful effects on normal cells and tissues？＂ The review also suggests a new therapeutic strategy for selective killing of cancer cells, without significant impact on viability of normal cells and tissues, by combining anticancer drugs with redox-modulators, affecting specific signaling pathways and avoiding oxidative stress.

The generalized exponential rational function(GERF)method is used in this work to obtain analytic wave solutions to the Kudryashov-Sinelshchikov(K S)*** K S equation depicts the occurrence of pressure waves in mixtures of liquid-gas bubbles while accounting for thermal expansion and *** applying the GERF method to the KS equation,we obtain analytic solutions in terms of trigonometric,hyperbolic,and exponential functions,among *** solutions include solitary wave solutions,dark-bright soliton solutions,singular soliton solutions,singular bell-shaped solutions,traveling wave solutions,rational form solutions,and periodic wave *** discuss the two-dimensional and three-dimensional graphics of some obtained solutions under the accurate range space by selecting appropriate values for the involved arbitrary parameters to make this research more *** obtained analytic wave solutions specify the GERF method’s dependability,capability,trustworthiness,and efficiency.
