Background and Aims:Hepatitis B virus(HBV)reactivation is commonly observed in individuals with chronic HBV infection undergoing antineoplastic drug ***(PTX)treatment has been identified as a potential trigger for HBV *** study aimed to uncover the mechanisms of PTX-induced HBV reactivation in vitro and in vivo,which may inform new strategies for HBV antiviral ***:The impact of PTX on HBV replication was assessed through various methods including enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,dual-luciferase reporter assay,quantitative real-time PCR,chromatin immunoprecipitation,and immunohistochemical *** sequencing and 16S rRNA sequencing were employed to assess alterations in the transcriptome and microbial diversity in PTX-treated HBV transgenic ***:PTX enhanced the levels of HBV 3.5-kb mRNA,HBV DNA,HBeAg,and HBsAg both in vitro and in *** also promoted the activity of the HBV core promoter and transcription factor *** of AP-1 gene expression markedly suppressed PTX-induced HBV *** sequencing revealed that PTX activated the immune-related signaling networks such as IL-17,NF-􀇉B,and MAPK signaling pathways,with the pivotal common key molecule being *** 16S rRNA sequencing revealed that PTX induced dysbiosis of gut ***:PTX-induced HBV reactivation was likely a synergistic outcome of immune suppression and direct stimulation of HBV replication through the enhancement of HBV core promoter activity mediated by the transcription factor *** findings propose a novel molecular mechanism,underscoring the critical role of AP-1 in PTX-induced HBV reactivation.

Role of bpfA in adhesion and biofilm formation of Shewanella putrefaciens CN32 under cold stress: a comprehensive transcriptomic analysis

As a specific spoilage organism of seafood under refrigerated temperature conditions， Shewanella spp. tend to form biofilms that exacerbate the occurrence of seafood spoilage. Biofilm-promoting factor A (BpfA) has been reported to promote the adhesion and biofilm formation of Shewanella spp.， but its role in adhesion and biofilm formation of S. putrefaciens under cold stress needs to be further investigated. To better comprehend the effect of BpfA on adhesion and biofilm formation of S. putrefaciens under cold stress (4℃)， bacterial adhesion and biofilm phenotype of S. putrefaciens CN32 WT and ΔbpfA at 4℃ were analyzed and performed transcriptomics. The results showed that the deletion of bpfA had almost no effect on the growth of S. putrefaciens CN32 at 4℃， but weakened the unicellular adhesion capacity of S. putrefaciens CN32 and destabilized the stability of the multicellular adhesion layer. In addition， the biomass of the mature biofilm formed by ΔbpfA was merely around 50% of that observed in the mature biofilm of S. putrefaciens CN32 WT， the average thickness and volume of the biofilm decreased by 3% and 8%， respectively， and the composition of the biofilm changed. Transcriptome analysis demonstrated that the deletion of bpfA led to differential expression of genes involved in metabolic pathways such as bacterial chemotaxis， two-component system， tyrosine metabolism， drug metabolism-other enzymes and biofilm formation-Vibrio cholerae， which in turn influenced bacterial adhesion and biofilm formation. Those results advance our acknowledge of the character of BpfA on adhesion and biofilm formation of S. putrefaciens CN32， which contributes to understand bacterial adhesion and the control of biofilm formation.

Intelligent fault diagnosis is an important method in rotating machinery fault diagnosis and equipment health *** deal with co-frequency vibration faults,a type of typical fault in rotating machinery,this paper proposes a fault diagnosis method based on the stacked autoencoder(SAE)and ensembled ***,the time-and frequency-domain features of several co-frequency vibration faults are summarized based on the mechanism analysis and calculated using actual vibration *** realize and validate the high-precision diagnosis method of rotating equipment with co-frequency faults proposed in this study,the following three criteria are required:First,to improve the effectiveness and robustness of the ensembled model and the sliding window using data augmentation,adding noise,autoencoder(AE)and SAE methods are analyzed in terms of principle and practical ***,ResNet is used as the feature extractor for the ensembled ResNet-SVM *** extraction is carried out twice,and the extracted co-frequency fault features are more ***,the data augmentation method and ensemble ResNet-SVM are combined for fault diagnosis and compared with other *** experimental results show that the accuracy of the proposed method can exceed 99.9%.

Effects of organic fertilizers produced using different techniques on rice grain yield and ammonia volatilization in double-cropping rice fields

Ammonia(NH_(3)) volatilization from rice fields contributes to poor air quality and indicates low nitrogen use efficiency. Although organic fertilizers can meet the nitrogen requirement for rice growth, the simultaneous effects of organic fertilizers on NH_(3) volatilization and rice yield in paddy fields are poorly understood and quantified. To address this gap in our knowledge, experimental field plots were established in a conventional double-cropping paddy field in the Pearl River Delta region, southern China. Five fertilizer treatments were used besides the control with no fertilizer: fresh organic fertilizer, successively composted organic fertilizer, chemically composted organic fertilizer, mixture of chemically composted organic fertilizer with inorganic fertilizer, and chemical fertilizer. Ammonia volatilization was measured using a batch-type airflow enclosure method. No significant differences in grain yield were observed among organic and chemical fertilizer treatments. However, compared with chemical fertilizer, chemically composted organic fertilizer and successively composted organic fertilizer significantly decreased total NH_(3) volatilization by 70% and 68%, respectively. The ammonium-nitrogen concentration in field surface water correlated strongly(P management practices.

Behind-plate overpressure effect of steel-encased reactive material projectile impacting thin aluminum plate

Ballistic impact and sealed chamber tests were performed on the steel-encased reactive material projectile(SERMP)to understand its behind-plate overpressure effect when impacting the thin aluminum *** reactive material encased with a 1.5 mm thick 30CrMnSiNi2A steel shell was launched onto the initially sealed test chamber with a 3 mm thick 2024-T3 thin aluminum cover ***,the overpressure signals in the test chamber were recorded by pressure *** experimental results indicate an unusual behind-plate overpressure effect:as the density of the projectile increases from 6.43 g/cm^(3) to 7.58 g/cm^(3) by increasing the content of tungsten powder,although its total chemical energy decreases,it produces a higher behind-target overpressure at a lower impact velocity.A theoretical model is proposed to predict the reaction length of reactive material inside the projectile based on one-dimensional shock wave theory to understand this unexpected *** addition,the deviation between the actual energy release and the theoretical calculation results,also the variation of overpressure rise time are analyzed and *** the analyses show,when the SERMP successfully penetrates the cover plate,an increasing density of the reactive material inside the projectile always means that the delaying rarefaction wave effect,an increase of its internal pressure and strain rate *** factors lead to the increase of the overpressure limit velocity and reaction extent of the reactive material,while the overpressure rise time decreases.

Development and characterization of mycelium bio-composites by utilization of different agricultural residual byproducts

Mycelium bio-composites was developed by incubating Pleurotus ostreatus fungi on different sub-strates from agricultural residual byproducts,including rice straw,bagasse,coir-pith,sawdust,and corn *** scanning electron microscope(SEM)results showed that the hypha of com-posite derived from bagasse was the densest,and the diameter of hypha was the biggest(0.77μm),which was presumably due to the existence of cellulose in bagasse in the form of dextran and *** maximum and minimum compression strength for sawdust substrate and corn straw substrate were 456.70 and 270.31 kPa,*** flexural strength for bagasse sub-strate and rice straw substrate were 0.54 and 0.16 MPa,*** two composites derived from rice straw and bagasse exhibited higher hydrophobic properties than *** comparison,mycelium bio-composite derived from bagasse showed the best comprehensive *** for a little worse anti-creep ability and waterproof performance,other properties of mycelium bio-composites could be comparable to commercially expanded polystyrene(EPS)packaging *** from this study,mycelium material provided a good way to use agricultural residual byproducts and could be a good alternative to non-biodegradable materials for packaging appli-cations.

Objectives:The nutrient rich sea bass is prone to oxidation of lipid and protein during *** and Methods:The research was to investigate the effect of different concentrations of Melissa officinalis *** oil(MOEO)nanoemulsions on myofibrillar protein(MP)and lipid oxidation in sea bass(Lateolabrax japonicus)during refrigeration at 4°***:The results of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances and mitochondrial membrane potential showed that carboxymethyl chitosan/locust bean gum active coating solutions incorporating 2%MOEO nanoemulsions(C/L-2M)was the most effective in inhibiting lipid oxidation that occurred in sea bass under attack by reactive oxygen ***-field nuclear magnetic resonance results showed that C/L-2M maximally slowed the conversion of bound water to free water during *** oxidation of lipids and MP disrupted the secondary and tertiary conformations of MP and accelerated protein aggregation and ***:C/L-2M slowed the oxidation of lipids and proteins by inhibiting the oxidation of reactive oxygen species.C/L-2M is a very promising preservative emulsion for the preservation of sea bass.

Chilling Injury, Physicochemical Properties, and Antioxidant Enzyme Activities of Red Pitahaya (Hylocereus polyrhizus) Fruits under Cold Storage Stress

Low-temperature storage is extensively used to optimize the postharvest life of various fresh ***,red pitahaya(Hylocereus polyrhizus)fruits are sensitive to chilling injury(CI),which leads to the limitation of low-temperature *** this study,red pitahaya fruits were stored at 2,4,6,8,and 10℃,respectively,for 27 days to determine the appropriate storage *** the storage of red pitahaya fruits,storage at 8℃ was more effective in suppressing decay and maintaining quality than other low ***(2,4,and 6℃)storage decreased weight loss(WL)and maintained higher content of titratable acidity(TA),soluble sugars(SS),and total phenolics(TP)but different degrees of CI were *** CI was observed at 8℃ and 10℃.Red pitahay as stored at 8 and 10℃ were associated with better color evaluation,lower electrolyte leakage(EL),respiration rate,and lipoxygenase(LOX)activity,and higher fruit firmness,superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity,and catalase(CAT)***,higher storage temperature(10℃)resulted in higher metabolic activity leading to lower quality and antioxidant capacities compared with 8℃.Therefore,our results demonstrated that red pitahaya stored at 8℃ exhibited a protective effect on fruit quality and resisted CI development during storage.
