Poverty alleviation is one of the greatest challenges faced by low-income and middle-income ***,which had the largest rural poverty-stricken population,has made tremendous efforts in alleviating poverty especially since the implementation of the targeted poverty alleviation(TPA)policy in 2014,and by 2020,all national poverty-stricken counties(NPCs)have been out of *** study combines deep learning with multiple satellite datasets to estimate county-level economic develop-ment from 2008 to 2019 and assess the effect of the TPA policy for 592 national poverty-stricken counties(NPCs)at country,provincial and county *** capita gross domestic product(GDP)is used to measure the affluence *** 2014 through 2019,the 592 NPCs experience an average growth rate of per capita GDP at 7.6%±0.4%,higher than the average growth rate of 310 adjacent non-NPC counties(7.3%±0.4%)and of the whole country(6.3%).We also reveal 42 counties with weak growth recently and that the average affluence level of the NPCs in 2019 is still much lower than the national or provincial *** inexpensive,timely and accurate method proposed here can be applied to other low-income and middle-income countries for affluence assessment.

The rapid urbanization of China has increased pressure on its environmental and ecological well being. In this study, the temporal and spatial profiles of China＇s carbon dioxide emissions are analyzed by taking heterogeneities into account based on an integration of the extended stochastic impacts using a geographically and temporally weighted regression model on population, affluence, and technology. Population size, urbanization rate, GDP per capita, energy intensity, industrial structure, energy consumption pattern, energy prices, and economy openness are identified as the key driving factors of regional carbon dioxide emissions and examined through the empirical data for 30 provinces during 2006-2010. The results show the driving factors and their spillover effects have distinct spatial and temporal heterogeneities. Most of the estimated time and space coefficients are consistent with expectation. According to the results of this study, the heterogeneous spatial and temporal effects should be taken into account when designing policies to achieve the goals of carbon dioxide emissions reduction in different regions.

The geological condition of coalfield is much complex in China. With increasing in mining depth and drainage amount, the contradiction of drainage, water supply and environ-mental protection is becoming more and more serious. However, the contradiction can be solved by the scientific management of optimizing combination of drainage, water supply and environ-mental protection. The Philip multiple objectives simplex method used in this article has searched for a possible solution at the first step, and then it goes on searching to find out whether there is a weight number that can lead the solution to the biggest. It can reduce the randomness and diffi-culty of traditional weight method which determine the weight number artificially. Some beneficial coefficients are vague and the number is larger in the model of water resource dispatch. So the vague layer analysis method can consider these vague factors fully, combining the qualitative and quantitative analysis together. Especially, this method can quantify the experiential judge-ment of policy decider, and it will turn to be more suitable if the structure of objective factors is complex or the necessary data are absent. In the paper, the two methods above are used to solve the plans of drainage, water supply and optimizing distribution of water resource in the Zhengzhou mining district.

Halo orbit nearby the earth-Moon libration points is valuable to explore the lunar farside,which however must frequently be controlled to stay in the vicinity of libration points because of *** a consideration of the high fidelity force models,this paper focuses on maintenance of halo orbit nearby the earth-Moon libration ***,based on the dynamic characteristic of libration orbit in the circular restricted three-body problem(CRTBP),the mathematic model and control strategy of maintenance are studied.A control method named circling-continuation is put forward including the Halo-style and Lissajous-style ***,with the solar radiation pressure and third-body perturbation considered,maintenance of halo orbit nearby the earth-Moon L2 point is investigated on the control interval and velocity ***,the maintenance costs and efficiencies of two control styles are *** results show that the Lissajous-style way is suitable for the halo orbit maintenance with a control interval about 7.4 days and a velocity increment less than 20m/*** circling-continuation method has been successfully applied to the Chinese CHANG’E-2 and CHANG’E-5T1 extended mission nearby the Sun-earth/Moon and earth-Moon L2 libration points,which has been proved to be efficient and fuel-saving and suitable to the future lunar and deep space exploration.

By combining satellite tracking,land-cover extracted from Landsite 8 images,and the traditional stable isotope analysis,we studied the habitat selection and food preference of a vulnerable migratory waterbird,the Whitenaped Crane(Grus vipio),in one of its key stagging sites,the Shandian River Basin in the semi-arid northern China,to provide knowledge that is critical for its conservation in the *** results showed that the White-naped Cranes used both uplands and natural wetlands in the stopover *** the cranes used farmland and natural land cover equally as night-time roosting grounds,they spent most daytime foraging at *** the extensive usage of croplands as their foraging ground,the Bayesian mixing models based on stable isotopic analysis revealed that crop residues after harvesting,such as Maize(Zea mays)and Naked Oat(Avena chinensis),were only a small fraction of the White-naped Cranes’diet(~19%),and their diet composited mainly natural plants,such as Allium ledebourianum,Potentilla anserina,and ***,more than 20%of the total wetlands in the region were modelled as home range of the *** contrast,less than 10%of croplands and about 1%of the unused uplands were identified as home *** addition,the entire core habitats were located in natural *** findings demonstrated the importance of natural wetlands for the survival of the threatened ***,the satellite-derived land cover data showed that croplands increased rapidly in the last decade in this area,at the expense of natural *** the sharp decrease of White-naped Crane population in China,the conservation of stopover sites becomes *** on our analysis,we recommend the following management actions:conserving adequate natural wetland area,regulating anthropogenic pressures such as the use of herbicides,expanding the duration and extent of current conservation regulations,establishing a comprehensive monitoring progr
