The synthesis and characterization of a new zirconocene complex, bis(1-methyl-3,4-diphenylcyclopentadienyl)zirconium dichloride (1), and its catalytic properties for ethylene and propylene polymerizations is presented. This compound is the first example of metallocene complexes with 1-alkyl-3,4-diarylcyclopentadienyl as the ligand. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylenes with high melting transition temperatures are obtained with complex (1) at low Al/Zr molar ratios. This results are attributed to the steric hindrance of the complex. Large steric hindrance prevents the active catalyst from bimolecular deactivation and interaction with methylaluminoxane (MAO), and lower the chain termination rate.

The measurements of the mean streamwise and radial velocities,the associated turbulence and the relative particle densities were made in an air-solid two-phase flow in a square sectioned (30mm×30mm)90°vertical to horizontal bend using laser Doppler *** radius ratio of the bend was *** beads of 100μm in diameter were employed to form the solid *** measurements of air and solid phases were performed separately at the same bulk velocity 19.34m/s,corresponding to a Reynolds number of 3.87×10~*** mass ratio of solid to air was 1.6%.The results indicate that the particle trajectories are very close to straight lines. The streamwise velocity profiles for the gas and the solids cross over near the outer wall with the solids having the higher *** θ=30°and 45°,particle-wall collisions happen mostly in the region from θ=30°to θ=75°,and cause a sudden change in solid *** particles tend to move towards the outer wall in 90° *** particle concentration near the outer wall is much higher than that near the inner wall in the bend, and there are few particles in the inside of the *** bend leads to apparent phase separation:atθ=45°, the solids concentrate in the half of the duct near the outer ***θ=60°the second peak concentration appears,and goes gradually towards the inner wall.

The role of macroautophagy （hereafter autophagy） in cancer biology and response to clinical intervention is complex. It is clear that autophagy is dysregulated in a wide variety of tumor settings, both during tumor initiation and progression, and in response to therapy. However, the pleiotropic mechanistic roles of autophagy in controlling cell behavior make it difficult to predict in a given tumor setting what the role of autophagy, and, by extension, the therapeutic outcome of targeting autophagy, might be. In this review we summarize the evidence in the literature supporting pro- and anti-tumorigenic and -therapeutic roles of autophagy in cancer. This overview encompasses roles of autophagy in nutrient management, cell death, cell senescence, regulation of proteotoxic stress and cellular homeostasis, regulation of tumor-host interactions and participation in changes in metabolism. We also try to understand, where possible, the mechanistic bases of these roles for autophagy. We specifically expand on the emerging role of genetically- engineered mouse models of cancer in shedding light on these issues in vivo. We also consider how any or all of the above functions of autophagy proteins might be targetable by extant or future classes of pharmacologic agents. We conclude by briefly exploring non-canonical roles for subsets of the key autophagy proteins in cellular processes, and how these might impact upon cancer.

For years, the use of Hreceptor antagonists （HRA） has lowered the recurrence of peptic ulcer （PU）, but in some patients, persistent and recurrent PU may result in hemorrhage, perforation, obstruction and cancerafion, which require emergency operation. To find out an effective modality is still important for the treatment of resistant Pu. From 1988 to 1991 we successfully treated 260 patients with resistent PU using local injection of traditional Chinese medicines plus oral administration of Chuanjiaweidan.

AIM： To explore some operative techniques to prevent the occurrence of delayed gastric emptying （DGE） alter pylorus-preserving pancreaticoduodenectomy （PPPD）.METHOds： One hundred and eighty-six patients in a single medical center who accepted PPPD were retrospectively studied. The incidence of DGE was investigated and the influence of some operative techniques on the prevention of DGE was analyzed.RESULTS： During the operative process of PPPD, the methods of detached drainage of pancreatic fluid and bile and gastric fistulization were used. Postoperatively, six patients suffered DGE among the 186 cases; the incidence was 3.23% （6/186）. One of them was complicated with intraabdominal infection at the same time, and two with pancreatic leakage.CONCLUSION： Appropriate maneuvers during operation are essential to avoid postoperative DGE in PPPD. The occurrence of DGE is avoidable. It should not be used as an argument to advocate hemigastrectomy in PPPD.
