Natural killer(NK)cell-based immunotherapies are attracting increasing interest in the field of cancer *** clinical trials have shown promising outcomes,alongside satisfactory product efficacy and *** developments have greatly increased the therapeutic potential of NK cells by endowing them with enhanced recognition and cytotoxic *** review focuses on surface receptor engineering in NK cell therapy and discusses its impact,challenges,and future *** approaches are based on engineering with chimeric antigen receptors to allow NK cells to target specific tumor antigens independent of human leukocyte antigen *** approach has increased the precision and potency of NK-mediated recognition and elimination of cancer *** addition,engineering NK cells with T-cell receptors also mediates the recognition of intracellular epitopes,which broadens the range of target *** tumor peptide recognition by NK cells has also been improved by optimizing immunoglobulin constant fragment receptor expression and ***,engineered NK cells have an improved ability to recognize and destroy target cells coated with specific antibodies,thereby increasing their antibodydependent cellular *** ability of NK cell receptor engineering to promote the expansion,persistence,and infiltration of transferred cells in the tumor microenvironment has also been ***-based strategies for sustained NK cell functionality within the tumor environment have also been discussed,and these strategies providing perspectives to counteract tumor-induced ***,receptor engineering has led to significant advances in NK cell-based cancer *** technical challenges are addr.ssed,these innovative treatments will likely reshape cancer immunotherapy.

In this paper, we focus on the state and parameter identification problem of a hydr.dynamical system. This system is modeled as a linearized water wave equation(LWWE), a hyperbolic state-space model coupled with a Laplace equation. We assume that the wave elevation at two distinct points is the only measurement of water waves. We show that the state and water depth can be reconstructed from this point measurement records. The identification problem is recast as an optimization problem over an infinite-dimensional space. We propose the adjoint method-based identification algorithm to generate an estimated state and water depth. We then performed a numerical simulation to show the effectiveness of our designed algorithm by comparing it with existing studies.

The Ain El Bey abandoned mine, in North-West Tunisia, fits into the geodynamic context of the European and African plate boundary. Ore deposit corresponds to veins and breccia of multiphase Cu–Fe-rich mineralization related to various hydr.thermal fluid circulations. Petromineralogical studies indicate a rich mineral paragenesis with a minimum of seven mineralization phases and, at least, six pyrite generations. As is also the case for galena and native silver, native gold is observed for the first time as inclusion in quartz which opens up, thus, new perspectives for prospecting and evaluating the potential for noble metals associated with the mineralization. Scanning Electron Microscope--Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy and Transmission electron microscopy analyses show, in addition, a large incorporation of trace elements, including Ag and Au, in mineral structures such as fahlores(tetrahedr.te-tennantite) and chalcopyrite ones. The mineral/mineral associations, used as geothermometers, gave estimated temperatures for the mineralizing fluids varying from 254 to 330 ℃ for phase Ⅲ, from 254 to 350 ℃ for phase Ⅳ, and from 200 to 300 ℃ for phases Ⅴ and Ⅵ. The seventh and last identified mineralization phase, marked by a deposit of native gold, reflects a dr.p in the mineralizing fluid’s temperature(h boiling conditions. Such results open up perspectives for the development of precious metal research and the revaluation of the Cu–Fe ore deposit at the Ain El Bey abandoned mine, as well as at the surrounding areas fitting in the geodynamic framework of the Africa-Europe plate boundary.

A cheap method allowing fabrication of biocompatible,ultra-small(2-10 nm)and fluorescent(λ_(em)=425-500 nm)nanohybrids(Nhs)from coffee wastes is *** gadolinium-doped nanohybrids(GDNhs)or gadolinium-free carbon dots(GFCDs)can be synthesized in a domestic microwave oven according to green synthesis *** sizes,chemical composition,impact on proton magnetic resonance relaxation time and optical properties of the GDNhs and GFCDs were studied in details and *** particular,doping of the Nhs with Gd^(3+)ions,up to 1.87%w/w of gadolinium per particles’weight,will allow their application for magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).Furthermore,cell culture tests on human adenocarcinomic alveolar basal epithelial cells line(A549)have shown high biocompatibility of the GDNhs and in a wide concentration range 100-1000μg/ml.

Anti-tumor necrosis factor(TNF) dr.gs are widely prescribed for inflammatory disease. A loss of response to adalimumab is frequent and the pharmacokinetics of anti-TNF therapy have important implications for patient management. Individual factors such as albumin, body weight, and disease severity based on the C-reactive protein level influence dr.g metabolism. Adalimumab trough levels are associated with clinical remission. On the other hand, the detection of antibodies is associated with clinical relapse. Immunosuppressive therapy could reduce antibody formation although the clinical impact is not proven. New algorithms are available to provide personalized treatment and adapt the dosage. More data are needed on dose de-escalation.

We described a 59-year-old male patient who underwent liver transplantation in 1989 for hepatocellular carcinoma （hCC） complicating hepatitis B virus （hBV） cirrhosis. In 2001 （12 years after liver transplantation）, he developed a lung metastasis of hCC without intrahepatic recurrence and the resection was done. In July 2003, he was symptom free without any recurrence. hCC metastasis can develop even after a very long time of liver transplantation. Many hCCs grow slowly, and the growth rate of recurrent tumors in patients receiving immunosuppressive therapy is significantly greater than that of those who do not receive immunosuppressive therapy.

In fog, visibility is reduced. This reduction in visibility is measured by the meteorological optical range (MOR), which is important for studying human perception and various sensors in foggy conditions. The Cerema PAVIN Fog & Rain platform is capable of producing calibrated fog in order to better analyses it and understand its consequences. The problem is that the dr.plets produced by the platform are not large enough to resemble real fog. This can have a major impact on measurements since the interaction between electromagnetic waves and fog depends on the wavelength and diameter of the dr.plets. To remedy this, Cerema is building a new platform with new equipment capable of generating fog. This study analyses different nozzles and associated usage parameters such as the type of water used and the pressure used. The aim is to select the best nozzle with the associated parameters for producing large-diameter dr.plets and therefore more realistic fog.
