The existence of a global smooth solution for the initial value problem of generalized Kuramoto-Sivashinsky type equations have been obtained. Similarty siolutions and the structure of the traveling waves solution for the generalized KS equations are discussed and analysed by using the qualitative theory of ODE and Lie's infinitesimal transformation respectively.

In this paper, we suggested exact-volume differential form (for short:EVDF) and proved four theorems correlative with them: 1. existence theorem, 2. cohomology theorem,3. constant multiple theorem, and 4. equal gauge theorem. And their application were discussed also. For examlpe, we deduced the particle dynamic equation of the special theory of relativity. At the same time we analyzed and contrasted cohomology theory with Hamilton's variational principle. The contrast showed the superiority of cohomology theory. Moreover,we gave a more complete classification list of differential forms.

Abstract In this paper, a new criterion of the non existence of periodic solutions for a generalized liénard system =P(Q(y)-F(x)) =-g(x) is given, which generalizes and extends some known results of Sugie et *** results can be applied to the well known nonlinear oscillating equation [AKx¨D]+f(x)h()+g(x)k()=0, and the criterion of the non existence of periodic solutions associated with this equation is obtained.
