Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) typically use in-network processing to reduce the communication overhead. Due to the fusion of data items sourced at different nodes into a single one during in-network processing, the sanctity of the aggregated data needs to be ensured. Especially, the data integrity of the aggregated result is critical as any malicious update to it can jeopardize not one, but many sensor readings. In this paper, we analyse three different approaches to providing integrity support for SDA in WSNs. The first one is traditional MAC, in which each leaf node and intermediate node share a key with parent (symmetric key). The second is aggregate MAC (AMAC), in which a base station shares a unique key with all the other sensor nodes. The third is homomorphic MAC (Homo MAC) that is purely symmetric key-based approach. These approaches exhibit diverse trade-off in resource consumption and security assumptions. Adding together to that, we also propose a probabilistic and improved variant of homomorphic MAC that improves the security strength for secure data aggregation in WSNs. We carry out simulations in TinyOS environment to experimentally evaluate the impact of each of these on the resource consumption in WSNs.

Currently,single-atom combo catalysts(SACCs)for carbon dioxide reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)to the formation of HCOOH are still very limited,especially the lanthanide-based *** this work,the novel SACCs with atomically dispersed In and Ce active sites were successfully prepared on the nitrogen-doped carbon matrix(InCe/CN).Both aberration-corrected high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy(AC-HAADF-STEM)images and the extended X-ray absorption fine structure(EXAFS)spectra proved the well-isolated In and Ce *** as-prepared InCe/CN shows a high Faradaic efficiency(FE)(77%)and current density of HCOOH formation(j_(HCOOH))at-1.35 v *** hydrogen electrode(RHE),much higher than the single atom *** calculations have indicated that the introduced Ce single atom sites not only significantly promote electron transfer but also optimize the In-5p orbitals towards higher selectivity towards the HCOOH *** work innovatively extends the design of SACCs towards the main group and Ln metals for more applications.

An analytical method using high resolution inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry （HR-ICP-MS） for rapid simultaneous determination of Be, Mg, Al, Ti, v, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Ge, As, Se, Mo, Ag, Cd, Sn, Sb, Ba, Pt, Au and Pb in high purity cobalt was described. Sample digestions were performed in closed microwave vessels using HNO3 and HCl. The matrix effects due to the presence of excess HCl and Co were evaluated. The usefulness of high mass resolution for overcoming some spectral interference was demonstrated. The optimum conditions for the determination was tested and discussed. Correction for matrix effects, Sc, Rh and Bi were used as internal standards. The detection limits is 0.003-0.57 μg/g, the recovery ratio is 92.2%-111.2%, and the RSD is less than 3.6%. The method is accurate, quick and convenient. It has been applied to the determination of trace impurities in high purity cobalt with satisfactory results.

The reverse leakage characteristics of AlGaNbased ultraviolet light-emitting diodes fabricated on sapphire substrate are studied by temperature-variable current–voltage(I–v)measurement from 300 to 450 *** low-reverse bias range(0–0.5 v),the reverse leakage current exhibits tunneling ***,under a more negative reverse bias range([0.5 v),the log(I)–log(v)plots exhibit close-to-linear dependency,which is in good agreement with the transport mechanism of space-charge limited current.A phenomenological leakage current model focusing on electron transmission primarily through continuous defect band formed by linear defects like dislocations is suggested to explain the reverse current–voltage characteristics.

Photochemical aging of volatile organic compounds(vOCs)in the atmosphere is an important source of secondary organic aerosol(SOA).To evaluate the formation potential of SOA at an urban site in Lyon(France),an outdoor experiment using a Potential Aerosol Mass(PAM)oxidation flow reactor(OFR)was conducted throughout entire days during JanuaryFebruary *** variation of SOA formations and their correlation with OH radical exposure(OHexp),ambient pollutants(vOCs and particulate matters,PM),Relative Humidity(RH),and temperature were explored in this *** urban air was exposed to high concentration of OH radicals with OHexp in range of(0.2-1.2)×10^12 molecule/(cm^3·sec),corresponding to several days to weeks of equivalent atmospheric photochemical *** results informed that urban air at Lyon has high potency to contribute to SOA,and these SOA productions were favored from OH radical photochemical oxidation rather than via *** SOA formation(36μg/m^3)was obtained at OHexp of about 7.4×10^11 molecule/(cm^3·sec),equivalent to approximately 5 days of atmospheric *** correlation between SOA formation and ambient environment conditions(RH&temperature,vOCs and PM)was *** was the first time to estimate SOA formation potential from ambient air over a long period in urban environment of Lyon.

The inhibition effects and mechanisms of chlorinated methane and acetylene on methanogenesis in the anaerobic digestion process of the biodegradable wastes were *** was found that both chloroform and acetylene could effectively inhibit methanogens while the biodegradability of the wastes was not *** inhibited the activity of methanogens,while chloroform inhibited metabolic process of methanogenesis.A central composite design（CCD） and response surface regression analysis（RSREG） were employed to determine the optimum conditions and interaction effects of chloroform and acetylene in terms of inhibition effciency,production of volatile fatty acids（vAF） and molar ratio of propionic acid to acetic *** had significant effect on enhancing the production of vFA（F = 121.3;p 〈 0.01）,and acetylene promoted the inhibition effciency（F = 99.15;p 〈 0.05） more effectively than chloroform（F = 9.72;p 〉 0.05）.In addition,a maximum molar ratio of propionic acid to acetic acid of 1.208 was estimated under the optimum conditions of chloroform concentration of 9.05 mg/kg and acetylene concentration of 3.6×10^-3（v/v）.Hence,methanogens in the wastes can be inhibited while the stabilization process of the biodegradable wastes can still work well,as propionic acid generated during the inhibition process could hardly be utilized by methanogens.

A novel tetranuclear zinc（H） coordination polymer [Zn4（o-bda）a（p-pbim）4]n 1 （p-pbim = 4-pyridylbenzimidazole, o-bda2 = o-phenylenediacetic acid dianion） has been synthesized by a hydrothermal method and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray singlecrystal diffraction. The title complex crystallizes in monoclinic, space group of P21/n with α = 14.231（1）, b = 16.257（1）, c = 16.794（1） ]k, β = 100.26（1）°, v = 3823.1（2）A3, Z = 8, Dc = 1.573 g/cm^3,β = 1.321 mm^-1, F（000） = 1856, R = 0.0420 and wR = 0.111. The Zn（1） atom assumes a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry, involving three carboxyl O atoms from two different o-bda ligands and two N atoms from two p-pbim ligands. The Zn（2） atom is coordinated by two oxygens from two distinct bda2- anions and two nitrogen atoms from two p-pbim ligands to form a distorted tetrahedral geometry. The Zn（Ⅱ） atoms are alternately interlinked by o-bda ligands in bis-monodentate or chelating-bidentate and monodentate modes into one-dimensional undulate chains along axis c with the adjacent Zn…Zn distances of 8.32 and 8.47 A. Such neighboring chains are further extended into a 1D bi-chain structure with two different subrings A and B, which are 32- and 14-membered rings through interchain p-pbim ligands. There exists a 2D supramolecular network linked by intermolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions between the uncoordinated carboxylate 0（4） atom or coordinated carboxylate 0（7） atom and the uncoordinated imidazolyl N（2） and N（5） atoms with the O...N distances to be 2.695 and 2.807A.
