Depleting fossil energy sources and conventional polluting power generation pose a threat to sustainable *** generation from ubiquitous and spontaneous phase transitions between liquid and gaseous water has been considered a promising strategy for mitigating the energy *** materials with unique flexibility,processability,multifunctionality,and practicability have been widely applied for fibrous materials-based hydroelectricity generation(FHG).In this review,the power generation mechanisms,design principles,and electricity enhancement factors of FHG are first ***,the fabrication strategies and characteristics of varied constructions including 1D fiber,1D yarn,2D fabric,2D membrane,3D fibrous framework,and 3D fibrous gel are ***,the advanced functions of FHG during water harvesting,proton dissociation,ion separation,and charge accumulation processes are analyzed in ***,the potential applications including power supply,energy storage,electrical sensor,and information expression are also ***,some existing challenges are considered and prospects for future development are sincerely proposed.

The ballistic perforation response of composite fabrics made by combining plain weaves with seaming technology is reported and compared with conventional unseamed plain *** effect of the seaming technique on the ballistic resistance of aramid plain fabrics is investigated by varying the seaming *** ballistic experiment uses 8 mm diameter spherical projectiles to impact different fabric sample targets with velocities of 230 m/s and 400 m/*** ballistic performance of seamed and unseamed fabrics is characterized by the specific energy absorption(SEA)values of the *** results show that the seamed fabric has a better energy absorption capacity than the unseamed fabric,e.g.,the SEA of sample 5(seaming lines on every four yarns in a single-ply fabric system)is 135%of sample 1(plain weave without thread seaming).In the single-layer system,the effect of the seaming technique on the energy absorption of the fabric in significant when considering seaming density,seaming orientation,seaming distance,and seaming material on the plain fabric;In addition,it is found that in multi-layer systems,seamed panels(e.g.,sample 7)exhibit better ballistic performance than multi-layer fabrics(e.g.,sample 2),and the specific energy absorption of sample 7 is approximately 156%and 200%of sample 6 and sample 2,***,the energy absorption of the fabric decreases with the increase of impact velocity,which is related to the energy absorption mechanism of the soft fabric system at high impact *** yarn pull-out tests shows that the constraint provided by the seaming thread increases the friction between the fabric-forming ***,when the constraint exceeds a certain level,it is detrimental to the energy absorption of the fabric,which may be due to the overconstraint of yarn mobility.

Polyethylene （PE） films are treated using an atmospheric pressure plasma jet （APPJ） with He or He/O2 gas for different periods of time. The influence of gas type on the plasma polymer interactions is studied. The surface contact angle of the PE film can be effectively lowered to 58° after 20 s of He/O2 plasma treatment and then remains almost unchanged for longer treatment durations, while, for He plasma treatment, the film surface contact angle drops gradually to 47° when the time reaches 120 s. Atomic force microscopy （AFM） results show that the root mean square （RMS） roughness was significantly higher for the He/O2 plasma treated samples than for the He plasma treated counterparts, and the surface topography of the He/O2 plasma treated PE films displays evenly distributed dome-shaped small protuberances. Chemical composition analysis reveals that the He plasma treated samples have a higher oxygen content but a clearly lower percentage of COO than the comparable He/O2 treated samples, suggesting that differences exist in the mode of incorporating oxygen between the two gas condition plasma treatments. Electron spin resonance （ESR） results show that the free radical concentrations of the He plasma treated samples were clearly higher than those of the He/O2 plasma treated ones with other conditions unchanged.

High magnetic protective fabrics with rare earth Nd doped Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles were fabricated via a grafting *** structure,crystal form,and elemental composition of nanoparticles were investigated by transmission electron microscopy,energy dispersive X-ray,X-ray powder diffraction,and X-ray photoelectron *** obtained NdFe_(2)O_(4) nanoparticles show spherical shape with fine dispersion and reasonable element ***,they demonstrate fine superparamagnetic properties with a magnetic saturation value of 29.25 A·m^(2)/g and low coercivity of 1.902 mT through the vibrating sample magnetometry technique,which can be well developed in magnetic shielding protective ***,the cotton fabrics with plain weave were finished by a proofing rapier loom as a *** NdFe_(2)O_(4) nanoparticles underwent some appropriate surface modification and then were grafted onto the cotton fabrics by a bridge agent of N,N’-dissuccinimidyl *** morphology,structure,dispersion effect,and electromagnetic protective properties of the fabrics were observed through scanning electron microscopy,Fourier infrared spectroscopy,thermogravimetric analysisdifferential scanning calorimetry(TG-DSC),and a vector network *** reliable fabrics with grafting reaction on the interface are expected to have potential applications in the field of electromagnetic protection and biomedicine fields.

By modeling the decision-making process of garment coordination of fashion designers, a kind of computer-aid garment coordination using fuzzy neural network was propesed. The Takagi Sugeno Fuzzy Neural Network （TSFNN） is used to learn the knowledge and rules of fashion designers on garment coordination and calculate the garment coordination satisfaction index （GCSI）. The implementation of the computer-aid garment coordination tool is divided into two stages. The first stage is to acquire the knowledge of garment coordination. The second stage is to train and use the fuzzy neural network to conduct garment coordination. Three layers structure were also discussed for developing the system. By applying the computer-aid garment coordination tool into a real fushionretailing store, the experimental results show the system pexforms well with choosing a suitable value for screening out the satisfaction coordination pairs.

Auxetic Woven Fabrics—Pores' Parameters Observation

Manufacturing of a macro-scale helix auxetic yarn(HAY)was described. Consequently areal woven fabric and three kinds of woven fabrics various in weaves were introduced respectively. Their expected auxetic effect( assured by double helix yarn) was tested through the Poisson's ratio value(for auxetic structure is negative).Other observed parameters talked about variation in woven fabric porosity and the pores' parameters during the sample *** of this non-standard test( connection between dynamometer and image analysis) was also introduced. The differences among observed parameters were evaluated and conclusions for three types of woven fabrics were determined. It was found that less auxetic behavior caused less porosity. Less auxetic structure( satin) with longer floating threads embodies bigger pores' size and less circularity. The plain pattern has the greatest porosity but the smallest pores; the satin pattern behaves by contraries.

The theoretical male body size and its distribution plan are studied in consideration with the nation standard and the information provided by several garment companies. Through nine times tries of marking two suits with the CAD marking module, the fabric length and rates are derived. The formulas of the marking fabric length, the length total, and the girth total are obtained by using SPSS software. Moreover, by comparing the two incorporation methods of cutting in which one in the arithmetic sequence and the other in the geometric sequence, it is found that the one in the arithmetic sequence is better than the one in the geometric sequence.

Sleeve pattern design of men’ s tailored - suit is one of the most difficult problems of clothing pattern design. Based on the experimental studies of armhole girth, the difference of armhole width and crown height, crown angle, under sleeve curve’s diagonal line length, crown ease and its distribution rule, this paper mainly deals with the sleeve pattern design of tailored - suit for Chinese men. The influences of these factors are discussed and furthermore, some qualitative, quantifiable conclusions are drawn to design perfect pattern of men’ s tailored - suit sleeve.

The dispersibility of vermiculite is the key factor that affects the application of *** this paper,the milled natural vermiculite was pillared by organic quaternary ammonium *** the pillared vermiculite was ground and homogenized under the existence of dispersive agent to form a stable vermiculite hydrosol *** angle X-ray diffraction(SA-XRD),fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),and thermogravimetric analyses(TGA)were used to characterize the structure and thermal property of the *** results indicate that the exfoliated vermiculite is successfully *** analyses of laser particle size analyzer,transmission electron microscope(TEM),and Tyndall phenomenon analyzer demonstrate that the vermiculite hydrosol prepared is a stable hydrosol system.
