An Intelligent Optimization Method of Reinforcing Bar Cutting for Construction Site

To meet the requirements of specifications,intelligent optimization of steel bar blanking can improve resource utilization and promote the intelligent development of sustainable *** one of the most important building materials in construction engineering,reinforcing bars(rebar)account for more than 30%of the cost in civil engineering.A significant amount of cutting waste is generated during the construction *** cutting waste increases construction costs and generates a considerable amount of CO_(2)*** study aimed to develop an optimization algorithm for steel bar blanking that can be used in the intelligent optimization of steel bar engineering to realize sustainable *** the proposed algorithm,the integer linear programming algorithm was applied to solve the *** was combined with the statistical method,a greedy strategy was introduced,and a method for determining the dynamic critical threshold was developed to ensure the accuracy of large-scale data *** proposed algorithm was verified through a case study;the results confirmed that the rebar loss rate of the proposed method was reduced by 9.124%compared with that of traditional distributed processing of steel bars,reducing CO_(2)emissions and saving construction *** the scale of a project increases,the calculation quality of the optimization algorithmfor steel bar blanking proposed also increases,while maintaining high calculation *** the results of this study are applied in practice,they can be used as a sustainable foundation for building informatization and intelligent development.

Modified Si-Miao-San ameliorates pancreatic B cell dysfunction by inhibition of reactive oxygen species-associated inflammation through AMP-kinase activation

AIM： To observe the effect of modified Si-Miao-San （mSMS） on advanced glycation end products （AGEs）-induced pancreatic B cell dysfunction, as well as examining the underlying ***： Pancreatic B cells （INS-l） were stimulated with advanced glycation end products （AGEs, 200 μ***^-1） for 24 h to produce dysfunction in pancreatic B cells and the effects of mSMS observed on insulin secretion, NF-κB （p65） phosphorylation, reactive oxygen species （ROS） production, mitochondria membrane potential （△ψm）, cell apoptosis, phosphorylation of AMP-kinase （AMPK）, and caspase 3 activity. RESULTS： The AGEs challenge resulted in increased basal insulin secretion, but decreased insulin secretion in response to high glucose, whereas this situation was reversed by mSMS treatment. AGEs stimulation induced NF-κB （p65） phosphorylation and reactive oxygen species （ROS） production, as well as Agtm collapse and cell apoptosis, mSMS inhibited ROS production and inhibited NF-κB activation by attenuating p65 phosphorylation. Meanwhile, AGEs-induced A^m collapse and cell apoptosis were also reversed by mSMS treatment. Compound C, an inhibitor of AMP-Kinase （AMPK）, abolished the beneficial effects of mSMS on the regulation of B cell fimction, indicatin~ the involvement of AMPK. cONCLUSION： mSMS ameliorated AGEs-induced B cell dysfimction by suppressing ROS-associated inflammation, and this action was related to its beneficial regulation of AMPK activity.

Capsule network（CapsNet） has received a special concern recently owing to its great capability of guaranteeing the model robustness against the affine transformation and adversarial images. However, most CapsNets perform poor while costing huge at image classification on complex datasets, due probably to the weak feature extraction, the gradient problems and many intermediate variables employed in dynamic routing. To address this issue, a novel CapsNet called dense CapsNet（DenseCap） is proposed. First, dense blocks with short-cuts are stacked before capsule layers to adequately extract abundant essential features from image input while avoiding vanishing gradient. Then, CapsNet ReLU（CapsReLU） function is put forward to squash the capsule such that the sensitivity to the parameter initiation and vanishing gradient are handled. Furthermore, the influence of various dimensions of capsules on the reconstructed images is carefully studied. Finally, empirical results on five benchmark datasets show that the proposed DenseCaps outperform state-of-the-art capsule models.

Isolation and characterization of Pseudomonas otitidis WL-13 and its capacity to decolorize triphenylmethane dyes

Pseudomonas otitidis WL-13, which has a high capacity to decolorize triphenylmethane dyes, was isolated from activated sludge obtained from a wastewater treatment plant of a dyeing industry. This strain exhibited a remarkable color-removal capability when tested against several triphenylmethane dyes under both shaking and static conditions at high concentrations of dyes. More than 95% of Malachite Green and Brilliant Green was removed within 12 h at 500 μmol/L dye concentration under shaking conditions. Crystal Violet lost about 13% of its color under the same conditions tested. The rate of decolorization increased when the M9 medium was supplemented with yeast extract. The optimum pH and temperature for color removal were 7-9 and 35-40℃, respectively. The observed changes in the visible spectra and the inspection of bacterial growth indicated the color-removal by the adsorption of dye to the cells during incubation with strains.

Nonnegative latent factor（NLF） model has a great ability of acquiring useful knowledge from symmetric,highdimensional,sparse（SHiDS） ***,the tradition NLF model in terms of the double factorization（DF） technique is somewhat conservative due to the inadequate consideration of difference cases of *** order to address this issue,we propose an improved DF-SNLF（IDF-SNLF） model to extract NLF matrices in various ***,single NLF-dependent and multiplicative update（SNL-MU） learning method is employed to build an NLF model on SHiDS matrices,yet it suffers from a fairly low convergence ***,for the purpose of accelerating the convergence rate,a so-called momentum-based additive gradient descent（MAGD） method is adopted to train the *** studies on two SHiDS matrices demonstrate that our proposed IDF-SNLF model with MAGD can obtain a desirable performance on both prediction accuracy for missing data and the algorithm convergence rate.

A novel strategy for gas mitigation during swine manure odour treatment using seaweed and a microbial consortium

Gas emissions from swine farms have an impact on air quality in the Republic of *** manure stored in deep pits for a long time is a major source of harmful gas ***,we evaluated the mitigation of emissions of ammonia(N H 3),hydrogen sulfide(H2S)and amine gases from swine manure with biological products such as seaweed(Sargassum homeri)and a microbial consortium(Bacillus subtilis(1.2×10^9 CFU/mL),Thiobacillus sp.(1.0×10^10 CFU/mL)and Saccharomyces cerevisiae(2.0×10^9 CFU/mL))used as additives due to their promising benefits for nutrient ***,seaweed powder masking over two days provided notable control of over 98%-100%of the gas ***,significant control of gas emissions was especially pronounced when seaweed powder masking along with a microbial consortium was applied,resulting in a gas reduction rate of 100%for NH 3,amines and H2S over 10 days of *** results also suggested that seaweed powder masking and a microbial consortium used in combination to reduce the gas emissions from swine manure reduced odour compared with that observed when the two additives were used *** the consortium,seaweed decreased total volatile fatty acid(VFA)*** proposed novel method of masking with a microbial consortium is promising for mitigating hazardous gases,simple,and environmentally *** research is warranted to determine the mechanisms underlying the seaweed and substrate interactions.

Research on the mechanical fault diagnosis method based on sound signal and IEMD-DDCNN

Purpose–The purpose of this paper is to provide a shorter time cost,high-accuracy fault diagnosis method for water *** pumps are widely used in industrial equipment and their fault diagnosis is gaining increasing *** the time-consuming empirical mode decomposition(EMD)method and the more efficient classification provided by the convolutional neural network(CNN)method,a novel classification method based on incomplete empirical mode decomposition(IEMD)and dual-input dual-channel convolutional neural network(DDCNN)composite data is proposed and applied to the fault diagnosis of water ***/methodology/approach–This paper proposes a data preprocessing method using IEMD combined with mel-frequency cepstrum coefficient(MFCC)and a neural network model of ***,the sound signal is decomposed by IEMD to get numerous intrinsic mode functions(IMFs)and a residual(RES).Several IMFs and one RES are then extracted by MFCC ***,the obtained features are split into two channels(IMFs one channel;RES one channel)and input into ***–The Sound Dataset for Malfunctioning Industrial Machine Investigation and Inspection(MIMII dataset)is used to verify the practicability of the *** results show that decomposition into an IMF is optimal when taking into account the real-time and accuracy of the *** with EMD,51.52% of data preprocessing time,67.25% of network training time and 63.7%of test time are saved and also improve *** limitations/implications–This method can achieve higher accuracy in fault diagnosis with a shorter time ***,the fault diagnosis of equipment based on the sound signal in the factory has certain feasibility and research ***/value–This method provides a feasible method for mechanical fault diagnosis based on sound signals in industrial applications.

We propose a method for representing heteroge- neous concept lattices as classical concept lattices. Particu- larly, we describe a transformation of heterogeneous formal context into a binary one, such that corresponding concept lattices will be isomorphic. We prove the correctness of this transformation by the basic theorem for heterogeneous as well as classical concept lattices.

Hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic effects of rutin on hyperglycemic rats

OBJECTIVE:To study the effects of rutin on serum glucose and lipid levels in hyperglycemic ***:Male Wistar rats were subjected to intraperitoneal streptozotocin injections and a high-sugar,high-fat diet to establish a hyperglycemic and hyperlipidemic *** model was considered to be successfully established in rats with fasting blood sugar(FBS)≥11.1 mmol/*** study included 6 groups with 10 rats each:a blank control group,a model group,a metformin group,and groups on large,medium and small doses of *** groups received intraperitoneal streptozotocin or normal saline for 21 ***,serum lipids,serum insulin,insulin sensitivity index(ISI),and levels of catalase(CAT),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),superoxide dismutase(SOD)and malondialdehyde(MDA)levels were evaluated in all *** tissue samples were harvested to observe structural changes in islet ***:Large,medium,and small doses of rutin were associated with significantly reduced FBS(P<0.05),and increased levels of ISI,CAT,GSH-Px and SOD,as well as decreased MDA(P<0.05).Rutin administration was also related with reduced total cholesterol,triglycerides and low density lipoprotein chesterol,as well as increased high density lipoprotein chesterol(P<0.05).Histologic evaluation revealed rutin induced repair of damaged islet ***:In diabetic rat models,rutin can significantly reduce FBS and blood lipids,improve anti-oxidant activity,increase insulin sensitivity,and induce repair of damaged islet cells.
