Lower back pain is one of the most common medical problems in the world and it is experienced by a huge percentage of people *** to its ability to produce a detailed view of the soft tissues,including the spinal cord,nerves,intervertebral discs,and vertebrae,magnetic resonance Imaging is thought to be the most effective method for imaging the *** semantic segmentation of vertebrae plays a major role in the diagnostic process of lumbar *** is difficult to semantically partition the vertebrae in magnetic resonance Images from the surrounding variety of tissues,including muscles,ligaments,and intervertebral discs.U-Net is a powerful deep-learning architecture to handle the challenges of medical image analysis tasks and achieves high segmentation *** work proposes a modified U-Net architecture namely mU-Net,consisting of the meijering convolutional layer that incorporates the meijering filter to perform the semantic segmentation of lumbar vertebrae L1 to L5 and sacral vertebra ***-colour mask images were generated and used as ground truth for training the *** work has been carried out on 1312 images expanded from T1-weighted mid-sagittal mrI images of 515 patients in the Lumbar Spine mrI Dataset publicly available from mendeley *** proposed mU-Net model for the semantic segmentation of the lumbar vertebrae gives better performance with 98.79%of pixel accuracy(PA),98.66%of dice similarity coefficient(DSC),97.36%of Jaccard coefficient,and 92.55%mean Intersection over Union(mean IoU)metrics using the mentioned dataset.

The development of alkaline fuel cells is moving forward at an accelerated pace,and the application of ether-free bonded polymers to anion exchange membranes （AEms） has been widely ***,the question of the“trade-off”between AEm ionic conductivity and dimensional stability remains *** strategy of inducing microphase separation to improve the performance of AEm has attracted much attention recently,but the design of optimal molecular structures is still being ***,this work introduced different ratios of 3-bromo-1,1,1-trifluoroacetone （x=40,50,and 60） into the main chain of poly（p-terphenylene isatin）.Because fluorinated groups have excellent hydrophobicity,hydrophilic hydroxyl-containing side chains are introduced to jointly adjust the formation of phase separation *** results show that PTI-PTF50-NOH AEm with the appropriate fluorinated group ratio has the best ionic conductivity and alkali stability under the combined effect of *** has an ionic conductivity of 133.83 mS cm-1at 80°*** addition,the OH-conductivity remains at 89%of the initial value at 80°C and 3 m kOH for 1056 h of *** cell polarization curve based on PTI-PTF50-NOH shows a power density of 734.76 mW cm-2at a current density of 1807.7 mA cm-2.

Appropriate Sub-band Selection in Wavelet Packet Decomposition for Automated Glaucoma Diagnoses

The most common reason for blindness among human beings is *** increase of fluid pressure damages the optic nerve which gradually leads to irreversible loss of vision.A technique for automated screening of Glaucoma from the fundal retinal images is presented in this *** paper intends to explore the significance of both the approximate and detail coefficients through wavelet packet decomposition(WPD).Decomposition is done with "db3" wavelet function and the images are decomposed up to level-3producing 84 *** features,the energy and the entropy are calculated for each sub-band producing two feature matrices(158 images × 84 features).The above step is purely a statistical measure based on *** enhance the diagnostic accuracy,the second phase considers the structural(biological) region of interest(rOI) in the image and then extracts the same *** is worthy to note that direct biological features are not extracted to eliminate the drawbacks of segmentation whereas the biologically significant region is taken as ***,the detailed coefficient sub-bands(prominent edges) show more significance in the biological-rOI *** from enhancing the diagnostic accuracy by feature reduction,the paper intends to mark the significance indices,uniqueness and discrimination capability of the significant features(sub-bands) in both the ***,the crisp inputs are fed to the classifier ***,from the significant features of the biological-rOI feature matrices,the accuracy is raised to 85%which is notable than the accuracy of 79%achieved without considering the rOI.

With the rapid development of flexible wearable electronics,the demand for stretchable energy storage devices has *** this work,a novel gradient-layered architecture was design based on single-pore hollow lignin nanospheres(HLNPs)-intercalated two-dimensional transition metal carbide(Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) mXene)for fabricating highly stretchable and durable *** depositing and inserting HLNPs in the mXene layers with a bottom-up decreasing gradient,a multilayered porous mXene structure with smooth ion channels was constructed by reducing the overstacking of mXene ***,the micro-chamber architecture of thin-walled lignin nanospheres effectively extended the contact area between lignin and mXene to improve ion and electron accessibility,thus better utilizing the pseudocapacitive property of *** these strategies effectively enhanced the capacitive performance of the *** addition,HLNPs,which acted as a protective phase for mXene layer,enhanced mechanical properties of the wrinkled stretchable electrodes by releasing stress through slip and deformation during the stretch-release cycling and greatly improved the structural integrity and capacitive stability of the *** electrodes and symmetric flexible all-solid-state supercapacitors capable of enduring 600%uniaxial tensile strain were developed with high specific capacitances of 1273 mF cm^(−2)(241 F g^(−1))and 514 mF cm^(−2)(95 F g^(−1)),***,their capacitances were well preserved after 1000 times of 600%stretch-release *** study showcased new possibilities of incorporating biobased lignin nanospheres in energy storage devices to fabricate stretchable devices leveraging synergies among various two-dimensional nanomaterials.

As titanium alloy is chemically reactive,it is very difficult to join by conventional welding *** alloys can easily pick up nitrogen and oxygen from the *** the fusion welding method,brittle intermetallic compounds are formed when joining titanium alloy and stainless steel,which decrease the mechanical behavior of the ***,for joining of titanium alloy,diffusion bonding is *** work dealt with the measurement of feasible process parameters for diffusion bonding of Ti-6Al-4V and AISI 304 stainless steel with silver as an intermediate *** quality of the bonds was confirmed by the lap shear test and microstructural *** the experimental results obtained,diffusion bonding windows were constructed and this will act as reference maps to identify the process parameters for obtaining defect free *** was successful in the temperature range of 750-800 °*** lap shear strength was achieved under a bonding pressure of 5 mPa and holding time of 90 min.

Dust Deposition’s Effect on Solar Photovoltaic module Performance:An Experimental Study in India’s Tropical region

A solar PV panel works with maximum efficiency only when it is operated around its optimum operating point or maximum power ***,the performance of the solar cell is affected by several factors like sun direction,solar irradiance,dust accumulation,module temperature,as well as the load on the *** deposition is one of the most prominent factors that influence the performance of solar *** the solar panel is exposed to the atmosphere,dust will accumulate on its surface,reducing the quantity of sunlight reaching the solar cell and diminishing *** the proposed work,a detailed investigation of the performance of solar PV modules is carried out under the tropical climatic condition of chennai,India,where the presence of dust particles is very *** data corresponding to four different dust samples of various densities at four solar irradiation levels of 220,525,702,and 905 W/m^(2)are collected,and performance analysis is carried *** on the analysis carried out,the maximum power loss is found to be 73.51%,66.29%,65.46%,and 61.42%,for coal,sand,brick powder,and chalk dust ***,it can be said that coal dust contributes to the maximum power loss among all four dust *** to heat dissipation produced by dust deposition,the performance of solar PV modules is degraded as the temperature rose.

Cloud Computing provides various services to the customer in aﬂex-ible and reliable *** machines(Vm)are created from physical resources of the data center for handling huge number of requests as a *** tasks are executed in the Vm at the data center which needs excess hosts for satis-fying the customer *** Vm migration solves this problem by migrating the Vm from one host to another host and makes the resources available at any *** process is carried out based on various algorithms which follow a pre-deﬁned capacity of source Vm leads to the capacity issue at the destination *** proposed Vm migration technique performs the migration process based on the request of the requesting host *** technique can perform in three ways namely single Vm migration,multiple Vm migration and Cluster Vm *** Deployment manager(CDm)is used to support through negotiation that happens across the source host and destination host for providing the high quality service to their *** Vm migration requests are handled with an exposure of the source host *** proposed analysis also uses the retired instructions with execution by the hypervisor to achieve high *** objective of the proposed technique is to perform a Vm migration process based on the prior knowledge of the resource availability in the target Vm.
