Investigation of the preparation methodologies of Pd-Cu single atom alloy catalysts for selective hydrogenation of acetylene

Galvanic replacement, co-impregnation and sequential impregnation have been employed to prepare Pd-Cu bimetallic catalysts with less than 1 wt-% Cu and ca. 0.03 wt-% Pd for selective hydrogenation of acetylene in excess ethylene. High angle annular dark field-scanning transmission electron microscopy （HAADF-STEM） and H2 chemisorption results confirmed that Pd-Cu singleatom alloy structures were constructed in all three bimetallic catalysts. Catalytic tests indicated that when the conversion of acetylene was above 99%, the selectivity of ethylene of these three single atom alloy catalysts was still more than 73%. Furthermore, the single atom alloy catalyst prepared by sequential incipient wetness impregnation was found to have the best stability among the three procedures used.

On Loss Spillover Mechanism

Negative events not only result in losses for the target organization,but also a spillover effect which harms innocent organization in addition. This research will focus on the mechanism behind the spillover effect and attempts to build a sound loss- spillover model,aiming to benefit whoever use it to enhance an organization’s ability on coping with accidental events,improving an organization’s capability on identity building and its ability to properly choose institutional environments and helping leaders of organizations and administrators better understand the industry and promote a self- constraining culture within the industry.

E-commerce, driven by computer and internet technology, has experienced a significant growth in almost all fields during the past two decades. E-commerce has significantly changed the rules of business. Numerous research institutions and enterprises have made e-commerce more intelligent and convenient. Here, we propose a novel prototype of next-generation e-commerce platform with an architecture framework and theoretical *** subject, including the individual, enterprise, and administrative department, has his/her personalized portal to complete the subject information synchronization, supply release, demand satisfaction, and social contact. By using the personalized portal, instead of the traditional trading platform, the consumers and suppliers can complete intelligent matching transactions without intermediate traders. Moreover, the overall transaction process can be reviewed, making the transaction safer, more transparent, and more interesting. Moreover, the interconnected personalized portals solve the isolated islands of information, and the counterparts support parallel ***, this may improve the operating efficiency of the entire society.

HPLC method for analysis of the flavonoids from ginkgo biloba extract (GBE) was studied. By suitable selection of columns. symmetrical chromatographic peaks were obtained without using acidic modifier in the mobile phase, which can eliminate the time for cleaning the chromatographic system and simplify the analystic method for GBE Experimental conditions: column: Hypersil BDS C-18, 5mumx4x250 mm: column temperature: 35degreesC; mobile phase: 46% methanol-54% water; flow rate: 0.7 mL/min; detection wavelength: 360nm.

A Dwindling Filter Line Search Algorithm for Nonlinear Equality Constrained Optimization

This paper proposes a dwindling filter line search algorithm for nonlinear equality constrained optimization. A dwindling filter, which is a modification of the traditional filter, is employed in the algorithm. The envelope of the dwindling filter becomes thinner and thinner as the step size approaches zero. This new algorithm has more flexibility for the acceptance of the trial step and requires less computational costs compared with traditional filter algorithm. The global and local convergence of the proposed algorithm are given under some reasonable conditions. The numerical experiments are reported to show the effectiveness of the dwindling filter algorithm.
