Regression analysis and features of negative activation energy for MHD nanofluid flow model:A comparative study

This article elucidates the impact of activation energy on magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)stagnation point nanofluid flow over a slippery surface in a porous regime with thermophoretic and Brownian *** activation energy is scarce in practice,but the impact of negative activation energy could not be neglected as it is noticed in chemical *** rate of some Arrhenius-compliant reactions is retarded by increasing the temperature and is therefore associated with negative activation energies,such as exothermic binding of urea or *** some processes,the temperature dependence of the pressure-induced unfolding and the urea-induced unfolding of proteins at ambient pressure give negative activation *** present mathematical model is solved with successive linearization method(a spectral technique).A comparison of results is made for negative and positive values of activation *** from it,the quadratic multiple regression model is discussed briefly and explained with bar *** is observed that with rise in unsteadiness parameter from 0 to 1(taking positive activation energy),skin friction and Sherwood number are increased by 9.36%and 19%respectively,and Nusselt number is decreased by 26%.However,for negative activation energy,9.36%and 112%enhancement is observed in skin friction and Sherwood number,respectively.

This study explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence(AI)in early screening and prognosis of Dry Eye Disease(DED),aiming to enhance the accuracy of therapeutic approaches for eye-care *** the promising opportunities,challenges such as diverse diagnostic evidence,complex etiology,and interdisciplinary knowledge integration impede the interpretability,reliability,and applicability of AI-based DED detection *** research conducts a comprehensive review of datasets,diagnostic evidence,and standards,as well as advanced algorithms in AI-based DED detection over the past five *** DED diagnostic methods are categorized into three groups based on their relationship with AI techniques:(1)those with ground truth and/or comparable standards,(2)potential AI-based methods with significant advantages,and(3)supplementary methods for AI-based DED *** study proposes suggested DED detection standards,the combination of multiple diagnostic evidence,and future research directions to guide further ***,the research contributes to the advancement of ophthalmic disease detection by providing insights into knowledge foundations,advanced methods,challenges,and potential future perspectives,emphasizing the significant role of AI in both academic and practical aspects of ophthalmology.

Ozone electrogeneration on Pt-TaO_y sol-gel film modified titanium electrode: Effect of electrode composition on the electrocatalytic activity

This work examines the ozone electrogeneration （OE） at a binary coating of different nominal compositions （Pt）x-（TaOy）（100-x）, where x （percentage in the precursor solution） varied between 1% and 100%, coated on titanium substrate prepared by a sol-gel technique, The OE is performed in an artificial tap water at room temperature （25 ℃）. The percentages of Pt and Tatu in the coating significantly affect the electro- catalytic activity towards oxygen evolution. The oxygen evolution was retarded to a different extent based on the electrode composition. The largest retardation was obtained at the （Pt）10-（TaOy）90 electrode （ca. 480 mV positive shift） as compared with the （Pt）100-（TaOy）0 electrode. This was reflected in a high current efficiency （CE） of OE （ca. 19.3%） at the former electrode. This value is considered to be among the highest values reported for OE at 25℃ in neutral media. The composite electrodes were characterized by voltammetric and surface techniques. A plausible explanation for the change of the efficiency of OE with the electrode composition is given based on the electrochemical results.

In the present paper, we define Dislocated Soft Metric Space and discuss about the existence and uniqueness of soft fixed point of a cyclic mapping in soft dislocated metric space. We also prove the unique soft fixed point theorems of a cyclic mapping in the context of dislocated soft metric space. Examples are given for support of the results.

Magnetocaloric and magneto-transport properties of Gd_(10)Co_(20)Si_(70) alloy

We report the results of magnetic, thermodynamic, transport and magnetocaloric effect (MCE) studies of newly synthesized Gd_(10)Co_(20)Si_(70) alloy. These measurements confirm an antiferromagnetic transition at T_N=9 K. Both MCE and magnetoresistance (MR) show quadratic dependence on the applied magnetic field, indicating the presence of spin fluctuations in the alloy. The maximum values of the magnetic entropy change determined from the isothermal magnetization data for magnetic field change of 7 and9 T are found to be 10.5 and 15.6 J/kg·K, respectively. As a consequence of the spin fluctuations effect, the MCE peaks are pulled towards high temperature side as asymmetrically broadened peak. The MR attains a large positive value of 73%at 2 K in 8 T. The large MR and reversible MCE make this alloy an attractive multifunctional magnetic material.

Hierarchical peony-like FeCo-NC with conductive network and highly active sites as efficient electrocatalyst for rechargeable Zn-air battery

Carbon materials featuring hierarchical pores and atomically dispersed metal sites are promising catalysts for energy storage and conversion ***,we developed a facile strategy to construct functional carbon materials with a fluffy peony-like structure and dense binary FeCo-Nx active sites(termed as f-FeCo-CNT).By regulating the metal content in precursors,a three-dimensional(3D)interconnected conductive carbon nanotubes network was in-situ formed throughout the atomically dispersed FeCo-NC matrix during *** advantage of rich pore hierarchy and co-existence of highly active FeCo-Nx sites and beneficial FeCo alloy nanoparticles,the f-FeCo-CNT material exhibited excellent bifunctional performance towards oxygen reduction reaction/oxygen evolution reactions(ORR/OER)with respect to the atomically dispersed FeCo-NC(SA-f-FeCo-NC)and commercial Pt/C+Ru02 mixture,surpassing the SA-f-FeCo-NC with a 20 mV higher ORR half-wave potential and a 100 mV lower OER overpotential(at 10.0 mA/cm^2).Remarkably,the f-FeCo-CNT-assembled Zn-air battery(ZAB)possessed a maximum specific power of 195.8 mW/cm^2,excellent rate capability,and very good cycling stability at large current density of 20.0 mA/cm^*** work provides a facile and feasible synthetic strategy of constructing low-cost cathode materials with excellent comprehensive ZAB performance.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the phytochemicals and in vitro antioxidant,antimicrobial and cytotoxic potential of Rumex dentatus(***)leaf ***:The total phenolics and flavonoids content of *** extracts were evaluated by the Folin-Ciocalteu and aluminum chloride colorimetric methods *** potential of studied plant extracts was assessed through 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging capacity,total reducing power and total antioxidant ***,antibacterial and antifungal capacity was also evaluated by disc diffusion method against six clinically isolated multi-drug resistant bacterial strains as well as six fungal ***,cell cytotoxicity was also evaluated through3-(4,5-dimethylthiazolyl-2)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide ***:Ethanol extract showed highest total phenolic[(38.9±1.5)μg gallic acid equivalent/mg]and total flavonoids[(17.2±1.9)μg quercetin equivalent/mg]*** assays indicated that ethanol and methanol extracts possess potent antioxidant ***,it was observed that ethanol and hexane extracts have the potential to inhibit most of the tested multi-drug resistant bacterial strains while methanol,chloroform and hexane extracts could inhibit the growth of pathogenic fungal strains *** all the studied extracts,ethanolic extract showed highest cytotoxicity against MCF-7 cell line then Hep-2 and DU-145 cell lines by MTT assay with lowest IC50 of 47.3μg/m ***:These results suggest that *** could be a potent alternative candidate for treatment of microbial infections and for breast cancer treatment.

Common Fixed Point Theorems in Metric Space by Altering Distance Function

In the present paper, we prove two theorems. In first theorem, we prove fixed point result for self-maps in the metric space under contractive condition of integral type by altering distance. Carbon emissions of China's industrial sectors based on input-output analysis

This study uses an input-output model presenting the embodied carbon emission in the importexport procedure, as well as the responsibility allocation between China's 35 sectors and 7 main trade partners from 1995 to 2011. Results indicate that the amount of carbon emissions in China's industrial sectors is immense and that the industrial sectors are in serious imbalance. Such imbalance exists mainly in textiles, basic and fabricated metal, electrical and optical equipment,and machinery, among others. Based on the consumer-responsibility principle, the responsibility of 29 departments is reduced. Correspondingly, foreign sectors become more ***, as China's largest trading partner, should account for most of the total responsibility,followed by developed countries such as Japan, South Korea, and Germany.

An Inventory Model for Deteriorating Items under Conditionally Permissible Delay in Payments Depending on the Order Quantity

The purpose of this inventory model is to investigate the retailer’s optimal replenishment policy under permissible delay in payments. In this paper, we assume that the supplier would offer the retailer partially permissible delay in payments when the order quantity is smaller than a predetermined quantity (W). The most inventory systems are usually formed without considering the effect of deterioration of items which deteriorate continuously like fresh fruits, vegetables etc. Here we consider the loss due to deterioration. In real world situation, the demand of some items varies with change of seasons and occasions. So it is more significant if the loss of deterioration is time dependent. Considering all these facts, this inventory model has been developed to make more realistic and flexible marketing policy to the retailer, also establish the result by ANOVA analysis by treating different model parameters as factors.
