In thiswork,the perovskite LaZnO_(3) was synthesized via sol-gel method and applied for photocatalytic treatment of sulfamethizole(SMZ)antibiotics under visible light *** was almost completely degraded(99.2%±0.3%)within 4 hr by photocatalyst LaZnO3 at the optimal dosage of 1.1 g/L,with amineralization proportion of 58.7%±0.4%.The efficient performance of LaZnO_(3) can be attributed to itswide-range light absorption and the appropriate energy band edge levels,which facilitate the formation of active agents such as·O_(2)^(−),h^(+),and·*** integration of RP-HPLC/Q-TOF-MS and DFT-based computational techniques revealed three degradation pathways of SMZ,which were initiated by the deamination reaction at the aniline ring,the breakdown of the sulfonamidemoieties,and a process known as Smile-type rearrangement and SO2 *** toxicity of SMZ and the intermediateswere analyzed by quantitative structure activity relationship(QSAR),indicating the effectiveness of LaZnO_(3)-based photocatalysis in preventing secondary pollution of the intermediates to the ecosystem during the degradation *** visible-light-activated photocatalyst LaZnO_(3) exhibited efficient performance in the occurrence of inorganic anions and maintained high durability across multiple recycling tests,making it a promising candidate for practical antibiotic treatment.

A novel scheme of hybrid entanglement swapping and teleportation using cavity QED in the small and large detuning regimes and quasi-Bell state measurement method

We outline a scheme for entanglement swapping based on cavity QED as well as quasi-Bell state measurement(quasiBSM) methods. The atom–field interaction in the cavity QED method is performed in small and large detuning *** assume two atoms are initially entangled together and, distinctly two cavities are prepared in an entangled coherent–coherent state. In this scheme, we want to transform entanglement to the atom-field system. It is observed that, the fidelities of the swapped entangled state in the quasi-BSM method can be compatible with those obtained in the small and large detuning regimes in the cavity QED method(the condition of this compatibility will be discussed). In addition, in the large detuning regime, the swapped entangled state is obtained by detecting and quasi-BSM approaches. In the continuation,by making use of the atom–field entangled state obtained in both approaches in a large detuning regime, we show that the atomic as well as field states teleportation with complete fidelity can be achieved.

Study on forward stimulated Brillouin scattering in a backward pumped fiber Raman amplifier

Strong multi-order forward stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) has been observed in the backward pumped S-band distributed fiber Raman amplifier (PRA) with tunable narrow signal source (less than 100 MHz) when the pump power of FRA reached the SBS threshold. This does not obey the theory that only weak backward SBS lines exist according to the conservation of energy and momentum and the wave vector selected rule. This is because the sound waveguide characteristic weakens the wave vector rule, and the forward transmitted sound waveguide Brillouin scattering lines are generated and amplified in FRA. When the pump power is further increased, 11 orders of SBS lines and comb-like profile are observed. For the excited line, the frequency is 197.2296 THz and the power is 0 dBm. The even order SBS lines are stronger than odd order SBS lines, the power of the 2nd and 4th order SBS lines is 1.75 dBm, which is 16 dB higher than that of the 1st and 3rd order SBS lines. The odd order SBS lines are named Brillouin Rayleigh scattering lines.

Suspended twin-core f iber for optical switching

A kind of novel fiber, comprising two fiber cores which are suspended in air inside the outer cladding via a central thin membrane ,is proposed for optical switching application. When a hydrostatic pressure applied on the optical fiber, the pressure-induced refractive index change of the two fiber cores will contribute to the periodical change of the intensity of guided light in the fiber core. The mode coupling of two cores under different hydrostatic pressure and influences of each structure parameter of the proposed fiber on the switching nressure have been numerically ***.

The leakage gas from a buried natural gas pipelines has the great potential to cause economic losses and environmental pollution owing to the complexity of the mountainous *** this study,computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method was applied to investigate the diffusion law and hazard range of buried natural gas pipeline leakage in mountainous *** on cloud chart,concentration at the monitoring site and hazard range of lower explosion limit(LEL)and upper explosion limit(UEL),the influences of leakage hole direction and shape,soil property,burial depth,obstacle type on the diffusion law and hazard range are *** show that the leakage gas is not radially diffused until it reaches the ground,and the velocity of gas diffusion to the ground and the hazard range decrease as the angle between the leaking direction and the buoyancy direction *** and square leak holes have a faster diffusion rate and a wider hazard range than *** diffusion rate of leakage gas in soil rises as soil granularity and porosity *** time of leakage gas diffusion to the ground increases significantly with the increase of burial depth,and the hazard range reduces as burial depth ***-type obstacles will alter the diffusion path of the leakage gas and accelerate the expansion of the hazard distance,while trench-type obstacles will cause the natural gas to accumulate in the trench and form a high concentration region slowing the expansion of the surface gas concentration.

Comparison between wave generation methods for numerical simulation of bimodal seas

This paper describes an investigation of the generation of desired sea states in a numerical wave model. Bimodal sea states containing energetic swell components can be coastal hazards along coastlines exposed to large oceanic fetches. Investigating the effects of long-period bimodal seas requires large computational domains and increased running time to ensure the development of the desired sea state. Long computational runs can cause mass stability issues due to the Stokes drift and wave reflection, which in turn affect results through the variation of the water level. A numerical wave flume, NEWRANS, was used to investigate two wave generation methods： the wave paddle method, allowing for a smaller domain; and the internal mass source function method, providing an open boundary allowing reflected waves to leave the domain. The two wave generation methods were validated against experimental data by comparing the wave generation accuracy and the variance of mass in the model during simulations. Results show that the wave paddle method not only accurately generates the desired sea state but also provides a more stable simulation, in which mass fluctuation has less of an effect on the water depth during the long-duration simulations. As a result, it is suggested that the wave paddle method with active wave absorption is preferable to the internal wave maker option when investigating intermediate-depth long-period bimodal seas for long-duration simulations.

Effect of Sulfur Precursor on Dimensions of One-dimensional CdS Nanocrystals

One-dimensional CdS nanocrystals have been prepared by solvothermal method using cadmium acetate as a cadmium precursor, elemental sulfur and Na2S, as a sulfur precursor, and ethylenediamine as a solvent at 150℃ for 5 h. The nanocrystals were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, transmission electron microscopy （TEM） and UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy. XRD patterns indicate that both Na2S and elemental sulfur as the sulfur precursor result in CdS nanorods with wutzite phase （hexagonal structure）. SEM and TEM images show that diameter of CdS nanorods can be decreased using Na2S instead of elemental sulfur. For the growth of CdS nanorods, a mechanism has been proposed. Uv-Vis absorption of CdS nanorods （sulfur precursor： Na2S） was shown blue shift to 485 nm due to the quantum size effect.

Molecular modeling of oscillating GHz electric field influence on the kinesin affinity to microtubule

Kinesin is a microtubule-associated motor protein which can respond to the external electric field due to its *** a molecular dynamics simulation method, the effect of such a field on the affinity of kinesin to the α β-tubulin is investigated in this study. To consider kinesin affinity, the system is exposed to an electric field of 0.03 V/nm with frequency values of 1, 2,..., 9, and 10 GHz. It is found that the applied electric field can change kinesin affinity to the *** changes could perturb the normal operation of kinesin, such as the processive motility of kinesin on the microtubule.
