Following the framework of E-N model(Eisenberg and Noe,2001),the authors consider a new clearing mechanism based on net liabilities among financial institutions since the liabilities between the counterparties should be deducted accordingly when clearing in *** the basis for systemic risk measurement,similar to the original E-N model,the authors first establish some good properties for the clearing payment vector according to a more general ***,the authors investigate how risk spreads among institutions through the liability network forming the risk contagion ***,the authors illustrate with a specific example that the original E-N clearing mechanism may misidentify the systemic important institutions,and theoretically show that it may also overestimate the risk compared with the netting clearing mechanism.

We theoretically study the effect of Kerr effect on the second-order nonlinearity induced transparency in a double-resonant optical cavity *** show that in the presence of the Kerr effect,as the strength of the Kerr effect increases,the absorption curve exhibits an asymmetric-symmetric-asymmetric transition,and the zero absorption point shifts with the increase of the Kerr ***,by changing the strength of the Kerr effect,we can control the width of the transparent window,and the position of the zero-absorption point and meanwhile change the left and right width of the absorption *** asymmetry absorption curve can be employed to improve the quality factor of the cavity when the frequency detuning is tuned to be around the right *** simple dependence of the zeroabsorption point on the strength of Kerr effect suggests that the strength of Kerr effect can be measured by measuring the position of the zero-absorption point in a possible application.

This study investigates the valuation and real effects of the mandatory disclosure of greenhouse gas(GHG)emission costs from the perspective of“double materiality.”We consider a firm with a Cobb-Douglas production function that combines GHG-related and non-GHG-related investments to produce short-term and long-term *** particular,the GHG-related investment entails short-term and long-term social costs of GHG emissions,including corporate costs and negative *** demonstrate how the mandatory disclosure of the long-term costs of GHG emissions affects capital market valuations and corporate investment decisions relative to a non-disclosure *** social welfare in an accounting regime hinges on three parameters:the persistence of the short-term investment return,the ratio of the productivity of GHG-related investment to that of non-GHG-related investment,and the social cost parameter for GHG *** findings suggest that disclosing the long-term costs of GHG emissions may be detrimental to social ***,the non-disclosure regime results in higher social welfare than the disclosure regime for high values of these parameters.

In this study,we investigated the effects of major royal jelly proteins(MRJPs)on the estrogen,gut microbiota,and immunological responses in *** given 250 or 500 mg/kg,not 125 mg/kg of MRJPs,enhanced the proliferation of splenocytes in response to *** splenocytes and mesenteric lymphocytes activated by T-cell mitogens(Con A and anti-CD3/CD28 antibodies)released high levels of IL-2 but low levels of IFN-γand *** release of IL-4 was unaffected by ***,splenocytes and mesenteric lymphocytes activated by LPS were prevented by MRJPs at the same dose as that required for producing IL-1βand IL-6,two pro-inflammatory *** production of IL-1β,IL-6,and IFN-γwas negatively associated with estrogen levels,which were higher in the MRJP-treated animals than in the control *** of the gut microbiota revealed that feeding mice 250 mg/kg of MRJPs maintained the stability of the natural intestinal microflora of ***,the LEf Se analysis identified biomarkers in the MRJP-treated mice,including Prevotella,Bacillales,Enterobacteriales,Gammaproteobacteria,Candidatus_Arthromitus,and *** results showed that MRJPs are important components of royal jelly that modulate host immunity and hormone levels and help maintain gut microbiota stability.

Digital Revolution and Job Quality of Lower Class Workers: Quasi-experimental Evidence from the Broadband China Program

This study examines the impact of the digital revolution on the job quality of workers with a specific focus on those at the lowest end of the spectrum in China's domestic labor market. Leveraging exogenous timing variations that result from the implementation of the Broadband China Program across different cities, it provides quasi-experimental evidence concerning the effects of the digital revolution on the job quality of lower class workers, particularly rural–urban migrant workers. Using data from China Migrants Dynamic Survey, this study reveals that migrants' comprehensive job quality index increased by 0.0138 (5.33 percent), and its component indices experienced positive effects after the Broadband China Program was implemented. This study also investigates heterogeneous policy treatment effects among workers with diverse demographic and occupational characteristics. Underlying mechanisms are considered, including positive macroeconomic shocks, increased social interactions, and Internet use. In particular, migrants' attitudes toward local settlement became more positive, suggesting that the positive effects of the digital revolution on livelihood lasted for some time. Taking China as an example, this study contributes valuable empirical evidence of how the digital revolution can affect lower class workers' employment or living conditions in a developing country. Related policy implications are also considered.

Non-fungible token(NFT)is a digital asset whose ownership can be validated and controlled via blockchain *** NFT market is a rapidly growing field,and the rarity of NFT is an essential factor that affects its price,as scarcity leads to higher *** study focuses on the BAYC NFT collection,which is a successful and representative collection of profile picture NFT,and analyzes how rarity affects NFT *** paper investigates the relationship between the rarity and price of the BAYC NFT collection using formal concept analysis(FCA)*** results show that rarity is a major factor influencing the price of NFT and the effect is more apparent in the medium rarity *** rarity is very high or very low,other factors become significant determinants,such as the uniqueness and appeal of NFT,and even the naturalness of NFT *** research highlights the importance of considering rarity when assessing NFT and underscores the need for a comprehensive evaluation of NFT *** study also provides valuable insights into the NFT market and can be useful for NFT investors,creators,and ***,the usefulness of FCA as a tool for quantifying NFT rarity and evaluating NFT price was demonstrated.

Globally， hyperuricemia is a growing health， social， and economic problem which could cause gout， chronic kidney diseases and other diseases. There are increasing evidences that a sensible diet makes sense to reduce the risk of hyperuricemia. This review aims to explore the metabolic mechanism of dietary factors and effects of dietary types associated with hyperuricemia. Recommendations for dietary modification to prevent hyperuricemia are as following: decreasing intake of animal organs， seafood， sugar-sweetened， and alcohol beverages is essential; choosing water or unsweetened tea and coffee instead of sweetened beverages is beneficial; and increasing intake of vegetables， reduced-fat dairy products， foods containing fiber， micronutrients and unsaturated fatty acids is helpful. In addition， consumption of fruits and legumes in moderation is advantageous， and low-fructose of fruits and low-purine of non-soy beans are recommended. Moreover， personalized diet needs to be emphasized for hyperuricemic patients accompanied with diverse metabolic diseases.
