Sinc. the lower power requirement of code division multiple access(CDMA) than that of other multiple access, the CDMA technology is suitable to be used in low earth orbit(LEO) satellite communication system whose space power is limited due to the small size of satellite. The pilot channel of CDMA technology is very important for earth mobile station(EMS) in LEO system to recover carrier and code, but the power requirement of pilot channel is very higher than that of other channels. In this paper, a power reduction method for pilot channel is proposed. By the new method, the power of pilot channel transmitted from LEO satellite is reduced to a lower level. For improving the signal to noise ratio(SNR) of pilot channel with lower power, coherent integration is employed in EMS at the pre-processing stage. Considering the high dynamic situation of LEO satellite, the long period of time for integration will deteriorate the receiving performance of EMS, therefore, a dynamic compensation module is added to carrier tracking loop against the high dynamic. Meanwhile, the transfer function of the new tracking loop and the condition for steadystate zero error are deduced. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Endoscopes are an important component for the development of minimally invasive *** size is one of the most critical aspects,because smaller and less rigid endoscopes enable higher agility,facilitate larger accessibility,and induce less stress on the surrounding *** all existing endoscopes,the size of the optics poses a major limitation in miniaturization of the imaging *** only is making small optics difficult,but their performance also degrades with ***-optics have recently emerged as a promising candidate to drastically miniaturize optics while achieving similar functionalities with significantly reduced ***,we report an inverse-designed meta-optic,which combined with a coherent fiber bundle enables a 33%reduction in the rigid tip length over traditional gradient-index(GRIN)*** use the meta-optic fiber endoscope(MOFIE)to demonstrate real-time video capture in full visible color,the spatial resolution of which is primarily limited by the fiber *** work shows the potential of meta-optics for integration and miniaturization of biomedical devices towards minimally invasive surgery.

Background: The organs in the body function in coherent organ networks. These organ networks are commonly known as physiological systems. Blood Glucose, Blood Pressure and pH exhibit the characteristics of neurally regulated Physiological Systems. Any medical condition, such as diabetes, has origins which are due to systemic dysfunction. This influences the genetic expression of proteins and the rate at which such expressed proteins subsequently react. inc.eased levels of acidity influence the levels of available minerals, protein conformation, and hence the rate at which expressed proteins such as insulin and leptin react or function. This is particularly significant in diabetes etiology where a deficiency of insulin and insulin-“resistance” are significant features of type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Proteins such as Insulin absorb and emit light. Moreover, the spectrum and intensity of the bioluminescence emitted from glycated proteins (which are more significantly bioluminescent) influence colour perception. Accordingly, changes to the diabetic’s colour perception can be used as the basis of a cognitive screening technique which is able to quantify the influence of genotype and phenotype. This may have significant advantages over current biomarker techniques which are not able to satisfactorily determine the earliest onset of?diabetes or distinguish between the symptomatic and presymptomatic onset of diabetes. Such methodology, based upon the properties of proteins, i.e. effectively, the rate at which proteins are expressed and the rate at which such expressed proteins subsequently react, allows the clinician to quantify genotype and phenotype and may contribute to a greater understanding of the processes responsible for what are commonly known as type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
