This paper presents the numerical solution of the time-dependent Gross-Pitaevskii Equation describing the movement of quantum mechanics particles under non-homogeneous boundary *** to their inherent non-linearity,the equation generally can not be solved ***,a highly accurate approximation to the solutions defined in a finite domain is proposed,using the Crank-Nicolson difference method and Sinc collocation numerical methods to discretize separately in time and *** Sinc numerical approaches,involving the Sinc collocation Method(SCM)and the Sinc Derivative collocation Method(SDCM),are easy to *** results demonstrate that Sinc numerical methods are highly efficient and yield accurate ***,the SDCM decays errors faster than the *** work suggests that the SDCM can be extensively applied to approximate solutions under other boundary conditions to demonstrate its broad applicability further.

Warranty claims forecasting plays an increasingly important role not only for preparing financial plans but also for optimizing warranty policy and improving after-sale *** the case of new products,an important feature is that the new generation of products often has a close connection with the previous generations of products it ***,the warranty claims data of the previous generations of products can be used for extracting reliability information of new *** this context,we propose a warranty claims forecasting model considering usage rate for new products sold with a two-dimensional *** accelerate failure time model is introduced to investigate the effect of usage rate on product *** non-homogeneous Poisson process is used to model failure counts of repairable products and the constrained maximum likelihood estimation method is used to estimate model *** results of data experiments based on both simulation and real data collected from an automobile manufacturer in China show that the proposed model considering the varying usage rate outperforms the traditional models in forecasting the number of warranty claims.

The Janus fabrics designed for personal moisture/thermal regulation have garnered significant attention for their potential to enhance human ***,the development of smart and dynamic fabrics capable of managing personal moisture/thermal comfort in response to changing external environments remains a ***,a smart cellulose-based Janus fabric was designed to dynamically manage personal moisture/*** cotton fabric was grafted with N-isopropylacrylamide to construct a temperature-stimulated transport ***,hydrophobic ethyl cellulose and hydrophilic cellulose nanofiber were sprayed on the bottom and top sides of the fabric to obtain wettability *** fabric exhibits anti-gravity directional liquid transportation from hydrophobic side to hydrophilic side,and can dynamically and continuously control the transportation time in a wide range of 3–66 s as the temperature increases from 10 to 40℃.This smart fabric can quickly dissipate heat at high temperatures,while at low temperatures,it can slow down the heat dissipation rate and prevent the human from becoming too *** addition,the fabric has UV shielding and photodynamic antibacterial properties through depositing graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets on the hydrophilic *** smart fabric offers an innovative approach to maximizing personal comfort in environments with significant temperature variations.

A widespread use of acrylamide, probably a neurotoxicant and carcinogen, in various industrial processes has led to environmental contamination. Fortunately, some microorganisms are able to derive energy from acrylamide. In the present work, we reported the isolation and characterization of a novel acrylamide-degrading bacterium from domestic wastewater in Chonburi, Thailand. The strain grew well in the presence of acrylamide as 0.5% （W/V）, at pH 6.0 to 9,0 and 25℃. Identification based on biochemical characteristics and 16S rRNA gene sequence identified the strain as Enterobacter aerogenes. Degradation of acrylamide to acrylic acid started in the late logarithmic growth phase as a biomass-dependent pattern. Specificity of cell-free supernatant towards amides completely degraded butyramide and urea and 86% of lactamide. Moderate degradation took place in other amides with that by formanaide 〉 benzamide 〉 acetamide 〉 cyanoacetamide 〉 propionamide. No degradation was detected in the reactions of N,N-methylene bisacrylamide, sodium azide, thioacetamide, and iodoacetamide. These results highlighted the potential of this bacterium in the cleanup of acrylamide/amide in the environment.

When the upper chord beam of the beam-string structure(BSS)is made of concrete-ﬁlled steel tube(CFST),its overall stiffness will change greatly with the construction of concrete placement,which will have an impact on the design of the tensioning plans and selection of control measures for the *** order to accurately obtain the bending stiffness of CFST beam and clarify its impact on the mechanical properties of composite BSS during con-struction,the inﬂuence of some factors such as height-width ratio,wall thickness of steel tube,elasticity modulus of concrete,and friction coefﬁcient on the bending stiffness are analyzed parametrically by the numerical simula-tion technology based on an actual *** calculation formula of the equivalent bending stiffness of CFST is also established through mathematical statistical ***,the equivalent bending stiffness is introduced into the construction and use stages of the composite BSS,respectively,and the mechanical properties such as prestress-tensioning control value,structural deformation,and internal force of key members are comparatively analyzed when adopting two different construction ***,the optimal construction plan of concrete placementﬁrst and then prestress-tensioning is proposed.

Global land cover data could provide continuously updated cropland acreage and distribution information,which is essential to a wide range of applications over large geographical *** area estimates were evaluated in the conterminous USA from four recent global land cover products:MODIS land cover(MODISLC)at 500-m resolution in 2010,Globcover at 300-m resolution in 2009,FROM-GLC and FROM-GLC-agg at 30-m resolution based on Landsat imagery circa 2010 against the US Department of Agriculture survey *** estimators derived from the 30-m resolution Cropland Data Layer were applied to MODIS and Globcover land cover products,which greatly improved the estimation accuracy of MODISLC by enhancing the correlation and decreasing mean deviation(MDev)and RMSE,but were less effective on Globcover *** found that,in the USA,the CDL adjusted MODISLC was more suitable for applications that concern about the aggregated county cropland acreage,while FROM-GLC-agg gave the least deviation from the survey at the state *** between land cover map estimates and survey estimates is significant,but stronger at the state level than at the county *** regions where most mismatches happen at the county level,MODIS tends to underestimate,whereas MERIS and Landsat images incline to *** uncertainties should be taken into consideration in relevant *** interannual and seasonal effects,R 2 of the FROM-GLC regression model increased from 0.1 to 0.4,and the slope is much closer to *** analysis shows that images acquired in growing season are most suitable for Landsat-based cropland mapping in the conterminous USA.

Fusarium head blight (FHB) is one of the most destructive diseases in global wheat production. In order to count the FHB-infected wheat ears under field conditions, this study proposed an algorithm for diseased wheat ear detection based on improved YOLOv5s (Tr-YOLOv5s). The Swin Transformer was used to replace the CSPDarknet backbone network to enhance the extraction of characteristic information of the population wheat ears of FHB in the field background. The convolutional block attention module (CBAM) attention mechanism was added to improve the detection effect of target wheat ears, subsequently improving the overall accuracy of the model. The original loss function complete intersection over union (CIoU) was replaced by Scylla intersection over union (SIoU) loss to accelerate the model convergence and decrease the loss value. The results showed that the mean average precision (mAP) of the Tr-YOLOv5s model reached 90.64%, making a 4.63% improvement compared to the original YOLOv5s model. The improved model could quickly detect and count wheat FHB ear in the field environment, which laid a foundation for the subsequent automatic disease identification and grading of wheat FHB under field conditions.

Strict carbon emission regulations are set with respect to countries’ territorial seas or shipping activities in exclusive economic zones to meet their climate change commitment under the Paris ***,no shipping policies on carbon mitigation are proposed for the world’s high seas regions,which results in carbon intensive shipping *** this paper,we propose a Geographic-based Emission Estimation Model(GEEM) to estimate shipping GHG emission patterns on high seas *** results indicate that annual emissions of carbon dioxide equivalent(co2-e) in shipping on the high seas reached 211.60 million metric tonnes in 2019,accounting for about one-third of all shipping emissions globally and exceeding annual GHG emissions of countries such as *** average emission from shipping activities on the high seas is growing at approximately 7.26% per year,which far surpasses the growth rate of global shipping emission at 2.23%.We propose implementation of policies on each high seas region with respect to the main emission driver identified from our *** policy evaluation results show that carbon mitigation policies could reduce emissons by 25.46 and 54.36 million tonnes co2-e in the primary intervention stage and overall intervention stage,respectively,with 12.09% and 25.81% reduction rates in comparison to the2019 annual GHG emissions in high seas shipping.
