Diabetes,a prevalent chronic metabolic disorder,often leads to severe ***,existing treatment methods may pose life-threatening risks due to poor patient compliance and inaccurate dosing of subcutaneous insulin ***,a biomimetic red blood cell(RBC)membrane-coated glucose-responsive nanoplatform is developed for controlling insulin *** nanoplatforms with RBC membrane can prolong the half-life of nano-formulation in vivo mediated by the biomimetic immune ***,the cascade catalytic effect of glucose oxidase(GOx)encapsulated in metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and hemoglobin(Hb)in the RBC membrane are able to not only facilitate glucose-responsive insulin release,but also eliminate the detrimental by-product hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))resulting from the Hb mediated H_(2)O_(2)*** in vitro and in vivo studies have demonstrated the favorable glucose-responsive performances of this advanced nano-platform with a single intravenous injection maintaining blood glucose balance in Type 1 Diabetes(T1D)mice for an extended duration without the hypoglycemia ***,this biomimetic insulin delivery system is poised to function as a strategy for the intravenous insulin administration,offering a promising drug candidate for the self-adaptive long-term T1D treatment.

Dynamic intelligent prediction approach for landslide displacement based on biological growth models and CNN-LSTM

Influenced by complex external factors,the displacement-time curve of reservoir landslides demonstrates both short-term and long-term diversity and dynamic *** is difficult for existing methods,including Regression models and Neural network models,to perform multi-characteristic coupled displacement prediction because they fail to consider landslide creep *** paper integrates the creep characteristics of landslides with non-linear intelligent algorithms and proposes a dynamic intelligent landslide displacement prediction method based on a combination of the Biological Growth model(BG),Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),and Long ShortTerm Memory Network(LSTM).This prediction approach improves three different biological growth models,thereby effectively extracting landslide creep characteristic ***,it integrates external factors(rainfall and reservoir water level)to construct an internal and external comprehensive dataset for data augmentation,which is input into the improved CNN-LSTM ***,harnessing the robust feature extraction capabilities and spatial translation invariance of CNN,the model autonomously captures short-term local fluctuation characteristics of landslide displacement,and combines LSTM's efficient handling of long-term nonlinear temporal data to improve prediction *** evaluation of the Liangshuijing landslide in the three gorges Reservoir Area indicates that BG-CNN-LSTM exhibits high prediction accuracy,excellent generalization capabilities when dealing with various types of *** research provides an innovative approach to achieving the whole-process,realtime,high-precision displacement predictions for multicharacteristic coupled landslides.

First discovery of fossil Diplothrix (Muridae, Rodentia) outside the Ryukyu Islands, Japan

The first Diplothrix (Muridae, Rodentia) fossils of the early Early Pleistocene are described as D. yangziensis sp. nov., which were collected from the Renzidong Cave deposits in Anhui Province, Eastern China. Diplothrix was previously represented by a single species, D. legata, whose geographical distribution during the Late Pleistocene is restricted to the Ryukyu Islands, Japan. With straight chevrons on M1, distinct t3 and t9 on upper molars, primitive M3, mlc on m1, and developed a-lab on m2 and m3, the new species is morphologically distinct from other large murids in East Asia, and should belong to the genus Diplothrix. There are also differences in molar morphology between the new species and D. legata, the type species of Diplothrix, as well as other known fossils. For example, D. yangziensis sp. nov. has a smaller size, a more elongated crown, developed precingulum and pc on M1, more primitive M3, weaker mlc and more primitive pc on m1, and stronger plc and pc on m3. In short, Diplothrix yangziensis sp. nov. is evidently more primitive than D. legata, suggesting that the former is likely the ancestor of the latter. Diplothrix yangziensis sp. nov. is the first discovery of the genus outside the Ryukyu Islands, Japan and is also the earliest and most primitive species of the genus in Eurasia. Its discovery has significant implications for reconstructing the evolution and dispersal pattern of Diplothrix, as well as for discussing its palaeoecological variation.

Recently found materials indicate that the steppe mammoth, Mammuthus trogontherii, survived in northern China into the late Pleistocene. East Asia is the key area of mammoth evolution after the initial radiation of early forms out of Africa and into Eurasia at the beginning of the late Pliocene (c. 3.5–3.0 Ma). M. rumanus, M. meridionalis, M. trogontherii, and M. primige- nius probably formed a continuous and transitional evolutionary lineage within the pan-Eurasian mammoth radiation in East Asia. Each speciation event of the Eurasian mammoths was followed by a rapid and large-scale dispersal event: out of East Asia. Allopatric speciation is the main speciation pattern of Mammuthus. The climatic vacillation was severe and frequent in East Asia from the early part of early Pleistocene (c. 2.6 Ma) onward, which probably brought about successive speciation in East Asia and the subsequent dispersal of the mammoths.

Abnormal thermal conductivity enhancement in covalently bonded bilayer borophene allotrope

Thermal conductivity of two-dimensional(2D)materials has gained prominence due to the attractive applications in thermal management and thermoelectric *** this work,we present a new member of bilayer 2D boron allotropes,denoted as bilayerβ12 borophene,and study the thermal transport properties by solving phonon Boltzmann transport equation based on density functional *** on quantitative chemical bonding analysis,we identify large degrees of covalent bonding of the interlayer *** comparison to its monolayer counterpart,the bilayer exhibits much higher in-plane thermal conductivity despite the lower phonon group velocity and buckling structure,inferring a new physical *** thermal conductivity(κ)of bilayerβ_(12)borophene at 300 K is 140.5(86.3)W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)along armchair(zigzag)direction,andκ_(armchair)is about 52.7%higher than that of monolayerβ12 *** abnormal enhancement is attributed to the suppressed phonon scattering possibility and elongation of phonon *** interesting,after forming bilayerβ12 borophene through interlayer covalent bonding,the dominated phonon branch to thermal conductivity changes to transverse acoustic phonons from out-of-plane flexural acoustic(ZA)phonons in the monolayer *** study elucidates the rich thermal transport characteristics in bilayer covalently bonded 2D materials,and injects fresh insights into the phonon engineering of 2D borophene relevant for emergent thermal management applications.

Yanjinggou in Wanzhou District of chongqing is one of the earliest reported and most famous Quaternary mammalian fossil areas in *** fauna from this area used to be taken as a benchmark for the biochronological comparison of Quaternary paleontology of South China,but the chronology of this fauna has many controversies for the lack of exact locational and stratigraphical *** present article,on the basis of recent investigations and discoveries,discusses and explains the distribution and biochronology of the mammalian faunas in the Yanjinggou *** newly discovered Dayakou fissure fauna,including Rhizomys troglodytes,Homotherium sp.,Panthera pardus,Stegodon orientalis,Dicerorhinus sumatrensis,Hesperotherium sinense,Sus sp.,Cervavitus fenqii,Cervus *** Muntiacus sp.,is correlated to the middle Early *** presence of Early Pleistocene mammalian fauna in the Yanjinggou area is therefore ***"Wanhsien fauna"or"Yenchingkou(=Yanjinggou)fauna"as a Mid-Late Pleistocene biostratigraphical datum should be *** Dayakou fauna and the Upper Cave fauna of Pingba,both in the Yanjinggou area,are correlated to the middle Early Pleistocene and the early Middle Pleistocene in age,respectively.

Deactivation induced by metal sulfate over MnCeOx catalyst in NH_(3)-SCR reaction at low temperature

Sulfate adsorption is one of the factors that cause the poisoning of catalyst in the low-temperature NH_(3) selective catalytic reduction reaction(NH_(3)-SCR).In this paper,by controlling the co-adsorption time of SO_(2) and O_(2) at 150℃,a range of sulfated MnCeOx catalysts with different contents of metal sulfate species were prepared to reveal the influence of metal sulfate species content on the catalytic performances and reaction mechanisms at low *** catalytic activity below 250℃rapidly decreases with increasing metal sulfate species *** results of characterizations shed light on the reduction of specific surface area,Mn^(4+)and Ce^(3+)content,and redox ability of MnCeOx owing to the formation of metal sulfate *** experiments reveal that metal sulfate species preferentially absorb on MnOx domains rather than on CeO_(2) domains,and the adsorbed metal sulfate species can suppress the Eley-Rideal and the Langmuir-Hinshelwood reaction mechanisms over the sulfated *** the above results are detrimental to the activity of sulfated MnCeOx in the low-temperature NH3-SCR reaction.

Citrus yellow vein clearing virus(CYVCV)is a new citrus virus that has become an important factor restricting the development of China’s citrus industry,and the CYVCV coat protein(CP)is associated with viral *** this study,the Eureka lemon zinc finger protein(ZFP)ClDOF3.4 was shown to interact with CYVCV CP in vivo and in *** expression of ClDOF3.4 in Eureka lemon induced the expression of salicylic acid(SA)-related and hypersensitive response marker genes,and triggered a reactive oxygen species burst,ion leakage necrosis,and the accumulation of free ***,the CYVCV titer in ClDOF3.4 transgenic Eureka lemon plants was approximately 69.4%that in control plants 6 mon after inoculation,with only mild leaf chlorotic spots observed in those transgenic *** together,the results indicate that ClDOF3.4 not only interacts with CP but also induces an immune response in Eureka lemon by inducing the SA *** is the first report that ZFP is involved in the immune response of a citrus viral disease,which provides a basis for further study of the molecular mechanism of CYVCV infection.

Hydroclimatic variations in the Tianshan Mountains based on grain size and geochemistry of core sediments since~1490 CE

Numerous studies have focused on modern hydroclimate and the modulated mechanisms in the Tianshan Mountains(TMs),arid central ***,the detailed information of hydroclimatic processes beyond the instrumental period is still *** paper reconstructed a hydrology history from core sediments of the Dalongchi Lake in the Tianshan *** comparability between endmembers(EMs)of grain size and ICP-AES based geochemical elements in the lake sediments highlighted their availability for hydrological *** forces(EM1,EM4,Ti/Al and Li/Al),chemical weathering intensity[(Mg+Ca+K)/Al],salinity proxy(Mg/Ca)and redoxsensitive proxy(Fe/Mn)highly correlated with the first principal component(P<0.01),whereas paleoproductivity proxies(TN,TOC,Ba/Al,Zn/Al and Cu/Al)and C/N showed high loadings on the second principal component(P<0.05).The inferred hydrology progress was nonlinearly responded to temperature,precipitation and climate-dictated ***,the water level didn’t always covary with the humidity because of *** maximum water level was the comprehensive result of glaciers melting and high humidity around 1830 ***,water level continually decreased with declining moisture at high temperature,implying a limited buffering capacity of glaciers in the Dalongchi Lake ***3-indicated eolian activity intensity was caused by the behaviors of Siberian High because the latter intensified surface wind and the dust *** hydrothermal patterns were characterized by warm/dry and cold/wet alternations in a long run although warm/wet pattern was identified from a short-term view.
