Percutaneous coronary interventions have progressed through the era of plain balloon dilation, bare-metal stent insertion to drug-eluting stent treatment, which has significantly reduced the acute occlusion and restenosis rates of target vessels and improved patient prognosis, making drug-eluting stents the mainstream interventional treatment for coronary artery disease. In recent years, drug-coated balloons(DCBs) have become a new treatment strategy for coronary artery disease, and the drugs used in the coating and the coating technology have progressed in the past years. Without permanent implant, a DCB delivers antiproliferative drugs rapidly and uniformly into the vessel wall via the excipient during a single balloon dilation. Many evidence suggests that DCB angioplasty is an effective measure for dealing with in-stent restenosis and de novo lesions in small coronary *** more clinical studies are published, new evidence is emerging for the use of DCB angioplasty in a wide range of coronary diseases, and the indications are expanding internationally. Based on the latest research from China and elsewhere, the Expert Writing Committee of the chinese Expert Consensus on Clinical Applications of Drug-Coated Balloon has updated the previous DCB consensus after evidence-based discussions and meetings in terms of adequate preparation of in-stent restenosis lesions, expansion of the indications for coronary de novo lesions, and precise guidance of DCB treatment by intravascular imaging and functional evaluation.

BACKGROUND The relationship between metabolic syndrome(MetS)and gastric cancer(GC),which is a common metabolic disease,has attracted much ***,the specific metabolic characteristics of MetS in elderly patients with GC remain *** To investigate the differentially abundant metabolites and metabolic pathways between preoperative frailty and MetS in elderly patients with GC based on nontargeted metabolomics *** In this study,125 patients with nonfrail nonmeal GC were selected as the control group,and 50 patients with GC in the frail group were selected as the frail ***-five patients with GC combined with MetS alone were included in the MetS group,and 50 patients with GC combined with MetS were included in the MetS *** metabolomics techniques were used to measure plasma metabolite levels by ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography-mass *** statistical analysis was performed by principal component analysis,orthogonal partial least squares,pattern recognition analysis,cluster analysis,and metabolic pathway *** A total of 125 different metabolites,including amino acids,glycerophospholipids,sphingolipids,fatty acids,sugars,nucleosides and nucleotides,and acidic compounds,were identified via nontargeted metabolomics *** with those in the control group,there were 41,32,and 52 different metabolites in the MetS group,the debilitated group,and the combined group,*** metabolites were significantly increased in the MetS *** the weak group,amino acids and most glycerol phospholipid metabolites decreased significantly,and fatty acids and sphingosine increased *** combined group was characterized by significantly increased levels of nucleotide metabolites and acidic *** alanine,aspartic acid,and glutamate metabolic pathways were obviously enriched in the asthenic group,and the glycerol and phospholipid metabolic pathways were obv

As a safe and convenient imaging technology in clinical routine diagnosis, ultrasound imaging can provide real-time 2D images of internal tissues and organs. To realize real-time 3D image reconstruction, pixel nearest neighbor interpolation(PNN) reconstruction algorithm and Bezier interpolation algorithm are combined into a hybrid reconstruction algorithm. On this basis, a real-time interactive 3D ultrasound imaging system is *** temporal calibration and spatial calibration, the six degrees of freedom poses of 2D ultrasound images can be accurately collected. The 3D volume reconstructed by the proposed 3D reconstruction algorithm is visualized by volume rendering. A multi-thread software system allows parallel operation of data acquisition, 3D reconstruction,volume visualization and other functions. 3D imaging experiments on a 3D printing femur model, a neck phantom and the neck of human volunteers were performed for systematic evaluation. When the reconstruction voxel size was set to be(0.53 mm3, 1.03 mm3, 1.53 mm3), the reconstruction errors of the femur and trachea model were respectively(0.23 mm, 0.31 mm, 0.56 mm) and(0.62 mm, 0.88 mm, 1.41 mm). Clinical feasibility was demonstrated by application of the 3D ultrasound imaging on the neck of human volunteers.

The safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines in the elderly,a high-risk group for severe COVID-19 infection,have not been fully *** clarify these issues,this prospective study followed up 157 elderly and 73 young participants for 16 months and compared the safety,immunogenicity,and efficacy of two doses of the inactivated vaccine BBIBP-CorV followed by a booster dose of the recombinant protein vaccine *** results showed that this vaccination protocol was safe and tolerable in the *** administering two doses of the BBIBP-CorV,the positivity rates and titers of neutralizing and anti-RBD antibodies in the elderly were significantly lower than those in the young *** the ZF2001 booster dose,the antibody-positive rates in the elderly were comparable to those in the young;however,the antibody titers remained ***,age,and underlying diseases were independently associated with vaccine immunogenicity in elderly *** pseudovirus neutralization assay showed that,compared with those after receiving two doses of BBIBP-CorV priming,some participants obtained immunological protection against BA.5 and BF.7 after receiving the ZF2001 *** infection symptoms last longer in the infected elderly and pre-infection antibody titers were negatively associated with the severity of post-infection *** antibody levels in the elderly increased significantly after breakthrough infection but were still lower than those in the *** data suggest that multiple booster vaccinations at short intervals to maintain high antibody levels may be an effective strategy for protecting the elderly against COVID-19.
