SensFL:Privacy-Preserving Vertical Federated Learning with Sensitive Regularization

In the realm of Intelligent Railway Transportation Systems,effective multi-party co.laboration is crucial due to co.cerns over privacy and data *** Federated Learning(VFL)has emerged as a promising approach to facilitate such co.laboration,allowing diverse entities to co.lectively enhance machine learning models without the need to share sensitive training ***,existing works have highlighted VFL’s susceptibility to privacy inference attacks,where an honest but curious server co.ld potentially reco.struct a client’s raw data from embeddings uploaded by the *** vulnerability poses a significant threat to VFL-based intelligent railway transportation *** this paper,we introduce SensFL,a novel privacy-enhancing method to against privacy inference attacks in ***,SensFL integrates regularization of the sensitivity of embeddings to the original data into the model training process,effectively limiting the information co.tained in shared *** reducing the sensitivity of embeddings to the original data,SensFL can effectively resist reverse privacy attacks and prevent the reco.struction of the original data from the *** experiments were co.ducted on four distinct datasets and three different models to demonstrate the efficacy of *** results show that SensFL can effectively mitigate privacy inference attacks while maintaining the accuracy of the primary learning *** results undersco.e SensFL’s potential to advance privacy protection technologies within VFL-based intelligent railway systems,addressing critical security co.cerns in co.laborative learning environments.

Lightweight aerogels feature multifunctionality and a high porosity,yet acco.panied with poor structure reco.ery under large strain *** this work,we develop an air bubble-ice crystal dual template and annealing strategy to integrate low density and high resilience for the co.ductive transition metal carbides/nitrides(MXene)co.posite *** air bubbles and ice crystals synergistically exclude the nanosheets to the gas-liquid interfaces,thereby co.structing unique Y-shaped junctions and robust *** annealing process greatly enhances the interlayer *** external load,the Yshaped structures prevent the stress co.centration at the junctions by transferring the forces to the skeleton for maintaining structural *** addition,the wrinkled and thick cell walls,together with the enhanced interlayer interactions,endow the aerogel with exceptional structural stability and *** a result,the MXene/reduced graphene oxide(RGO)co.posite aerogels exhibit superelasticity with reversible co.pressive strains of up to 95%.In addition,the electron bridging effect of the RGO sheets affords the aerogel to deliver excellent electromagnetic interference shielding performance,as high as 46.3 dB at 2.5 ***,the remarkable reshapeability of the aerogels allows for precise regulation of structure and performance(33.5-75.1 dB)by a simple wetting co.pression *** summary,this work offers helpful inspirations for developing lightweight and superelasticity aerogels for extensive applications.

The depression mechanism of sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite in the flotation separation of galena from sphalerite still lacked in-depth ***,the depression mechanism of sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite in the flotation separation of galena from sphalerite was further systematically investigated with experiments and density functional theory(DFT)*** X-ray photoelectric spectrosco.y(XPS)results,DFT calculation results,and frontier molecular orbital analysis indicated that sulfite ions were difficult to be adsorbed on sphalerite surface,suggesting that sulfite ions achieved depression effects on sphalerite through other non-adsorption ***,the oxygen co.tent in the surface of sphalerite treated with sulfite ions in creased,which enhanced the hydrophilicity of the sphalerite and further increased the difference in hydrophilicity between sphalerite and ***,sulfite ions were chelated with lead ions to form PbSO_(3)in *** hydrophilic PbSO_(3)was more easily adsorbed on sphalerite than *** interaction between sulfite ions and lead ions co.ld effectively inhibit the activation of *** addition the UV spectrum showed that after adding sulfite ions,the peak of perxanthate in the sphalerite treated xanthate solution was significantly stronger than that in the galena with xanthate solution,indicating that xanthate interacted more readily with sulfite ions and oxygen mo lecules within the sphalerite system,leading to the formation of ***,sulfite ions hardly depressed the flotation of ga lena and co.ld promote the flotation of galena to some *** study deepened the understanding of the depression mechanism o sulfite ions on sphalerite and Pb^(2+)activated sphalerite.

Terminal Effect of Drop co.lescence on Single Drop Mass Transfer Measurements and Its Minimization

For the mass transfer to single drops during the stage of steady buoyancy-driven motion, experimental measurement is co.plicated with the terminal effect of additional mass transfer during drop formation and co.lescence at the drop co.lector. Analysis reveals that co.sistent operating co.ditions and experimental procedure are of critical significance for minimizing the terminal effect of drop co.lescence on the accuracy of mass transfer measurements. The novel design of a totally-closed extraction co.umn is proposed for this purpose, which guarantees that the volumetric rate of drop phase injection is exactly equal to that of withdrawal of drops. Tests in two extraction systems demonstrate that the experimental repeatability is improved greatly and the terminal effect of mass transfer during drop co.lescence is brought well under co.trol.

Effect of preparation co.ditions on selective oxidation of propane to acrylic acid

The effects of chemical co.position and preparation co.ditions,especially calcination atmosphere and water co.tent on the catalytic performances of MoVTeNbO mixed oxide catalyst system for the selective oxidation of propane to acrylic acid were *** the catalysts studied,Mo_(1.0)V_(0.3)Te_(0.23)Nb_(0.12)O_(x) catalyst calcined in inert atmosphere at 600℃shows the best performance in terms of propane co.version and selectivity to acrylic *** results reveal that proper chemical co.position, calcination atmosphere and water co.tent affect greatly the catalysts in many ways including structure,chemical co.position,which are related to their catalytic performances;and 51.0%propane co.version and 30.5%one-pass yield to acrylic acid can be achieved at the same time.

Enhanced efficiency of top-emission InP-based green quantum dot light-emitting diodes with optimized angular distribution

High resolution and wide co.or gamut are two key requirements for novel display technologies. Owing to the distinguishing advantages over co.ventional displays, such as intrinsic wide co.or gamut and the possibility to achieve high resolution, quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLED) have drawn co.siderable attention in recent years. On the other hand, indium phosphide quantum dots (InP QDs) have shown a great potential as a replacement for cadmium selenide (CdSe) QDs in display applications due to the inherent toxicity of cadmium-based QDs. In this study, we investigate a top-emission InP-based green QLED with optimized angular distribution. By adjusting the electrical and optical architecture, the device exhibits improved properties with a maximum current efficiency of 30.1 cd/A and a narrowed full width at half maxima (FWHM)of 31 nm, which are the best results ever reported to our knowledge.

This paper aims to investigate the critical stability of a multi-degree-of-freedom(multi-DOF)real-time hybrid simulation(RTHS).First,the critical time-delay analysis models are developed using the co.tinuous-and discrete-time root locus(RL)techniques,respectively.A bilinear transform is introduced into the first-order Padéapproximation while co.ducting the discrete RL *** on this technique,the time delay can be explicitly used as the gain factor and thus the instability mechanism of the multi-DOF RTHS system can be ***,the critical time delays calculated by the co.tinuous-and discrete-time RL techniques,respectively,are co.pared for a 2-DOF RTHS *** is shown that assuming the RTHS system to be a co.tinuous-time system will result in overestimating the critical time ***,theoretically calculated critical delays are demonstrated and validated by numerical simulation and a set of RTHS *** analysis provides a glimpse of the effects of time step,frequency and damping ratio in a performing partitioning *** co.structed analysis model proves to be useful for evaluating the critical time delay to predict stability and performance,therefore facilitating successful RTHS.

Process optimization of neodymium chloride solutions precipitated by magnesium bicarbonate

Rare earths(REs) are of vital importance for the development of new materials and green *** bicarbonate is one of the most recyclable and environmental-friendly precipitant for REs reco.ery from leaching solutions. Nd_2(co.3)_3 has difficulties in industrial production. So in this study,the precipitation of neodymium from chloride solution by magnesium bicarbonate are investigated. The effects of feeding method, [Hco.3^-]/[Nd^(3+)] mole ratio, feeding speed and reaction temperature on yield and impurity(magnesia) co.tent are systematically studied. Results show that the impurity(magnesia)co.tent decreases to 0.010 wt% with a yield approaching to 100% obtained under the co.ditions of[Hco.3^-]/[Nd^(3+)] = 3.00 by parallel flow addition at 50 ℃. The major impurity(magnesia) in rare earth carbonates mainly presents in the form of physical absorption, which can be easily removed by scrubbing. Therefore, it offers a promising green process that uses magnesium bicarbonate to produce neodymium carbonate due to its cycling of carbon dioxide, magnesium salt and waste water.

The springing up of large language models(LLMs)has shifted the co.munity from single-task-orientated natural language processing(NLP)research to a holistic end-to-end multi-task learning *** this line of research endeavors in the area,LLM-based prompting methods have attracted much attention,partially due to the technological advantages brought by prompt engineering(PE)as well as the underlying NLP principles disclosed by various prompting *** supervised learning usually requires training a model based on labeled data and then making *** co.trast,PE methods directly use the powerful capabilities of existing LLMs(e.g.,GPT-3 and GPT-4)via co.posing appropriate prompts,especially under few-shot or zero-shot *** the abundance of studies related to the prompting and the ever-evolving nature of this field,this article aims to 1)illustrate a novel perspective to review existing PE methods within the well-established co.munication theory framework,2)facilitate a better/deeper understanding of developing trends of existing PE methods used in three typical tasks,and 3)shed light on promising research directions for future PE methods.
