As a new grinding and maintenance technology,rail belt grinding shows significant advantages in many applications The dynamic characteristics of the rail belt grinding vehicle largely determines its grinding performance and service *** order to explore the vibration co.trol method of the rail grinding vehicle with abrasive belt,the vibration response changes in structural optimization and lightweight design are respectively analyzed through transient response and random vibration simulations in this ***,the transient response simulation analysis of the rail grinding vehicle with abrasive belt is carried out under operating co.ditions and non-operating ***,the vibration co.trol of the grinding vehicle is implemented by setting vibration isolation elements,optimizing the structure,and increasing ***,in order to further explore the dynamic characteristics of the rail grinding vehicle,the random vibration simulation analysis of the grinding vehicle is carried out under the co.dition of the horizontal irregularity of the American AAR6 ***,by replacing the Q235 steel frame material with 7075 aluminum alloy and LA43M magnesium alloy,both vibration co.trol and lightweight design can be achieved *** results of transient dynamic response analysis show that the acceleration of most positions in the two working co.ditions exceeds the standard value in GB/T 17426-1998 *** optimizing the structure of the grinding vehicle in three ways,the average vibration acceleration of the whole car is reduced by about 55.1%from 15.6 m/s^(2) to 7.0 m/s^(2).The results of random vibration analysis show that the grinding vehicle with Q235 steel frame does not meet the safety co.ditions of 3σ.By changing frame material,the maximum vibration stress of the vehicle can be reduced from 240.7 MPa to 160.0 MPa and the weight of the grinding vehicle is reduced by about 21.7%from 1500 kg to 1175 *** modal analysis results indic

The introduction of fresh air into the indoor space leads to a significant increase in co.ling or heating *** desiccant heat pump fresh air unit which can handle the latent and sensible load of fresh air efficiently have been proposed *** improve the performance of the solid desiccant heat pump fresh air unit in the fresh air handling process,in this paper,the application of co.posite silica gel in a heat pump fresh air unit was *** co.parison between silica gel co.ting(SGC)and co.posite silica gel co.ting(CSGC)shows that the adsorption rate and water uptake capacity of CSGC are more than two times higher than those of *** experimental setup for the solid desiccant heat pump fresh air unit was *** performance of SGC and CSGC was tested in the setup *** show that under summer co.ditions,co.pared with the solid desiccant heat pump fresh air unit using silica gel(SGFU),the average moisture removal and co. of the one using co.posite silica gel(CSGFU)increased by 15%and 30%,*** winter co.ditions,co.pared with SGFU,the average humidification and co. of CSGFU increased by 42%and 17%.With optimal operation co.ditions of 3 min switchover time and 40 r/s co.pressor frequency,the co. of CSGFU under summer co.ditions can reach *** also show that the CSGFU and SGFU have higher co. and dehumidification rate under higher outdoor temperature and humidity ratio.

This study proposes a method for measuring the operational current of high temperature superco.ducting(HTS)non‐insulation(NI)closed‐loop co.ls,which operate in the steady persistent‐current‐mode(PCM).HTS NI closed‐loop co.ls are promising for many easily‐quenching direct‐current(DC)applications,where their performance is determined by magnetomotive forces,total number of turns,and *** the primary interface parameter in an application system,the operational current must be accurately and rapidly ***,this is achieved by dividing the measured magnetic field by the co.l ***,even if the influence of the screening current induced field(SCIF)is not co.sidered,existing methods for the co.l co.stant may be disturbed by the performance and location of Hall sensors,or experience a long measuring ***,a relatively accurate and fast method is proposed in this study,which is based on adjusting the output current of the adjustable power supply and monitoring the co.l voltage as an *** proposed method was validated through experiments and simulations using an equivalent circuit model co.pled with a finite element method(FEM)model,and its current accuracy can be equivalent to the resolution of the employed power *** was demonstrated that this method reduced the requirements for Hall sensor’s performance and location,and has a more reliable accuracy in co.trast to the simulation *** to the experimentally co.ventional method,the proposed method presents a significantly faster *** impact of the SCIF was co.sidered and proven to be negligible for the tested pancake *** for co.ls whose co.l co.stant vibrates owing to the SCIF,this method can be adapted to directly measure various operational ***,it was demonstrated that the measurement error can be influenced by the current discrepancy among turns when the co.l is not in the steady PCM,and a procedure for reducing this error was pr

Failure mechanism and infrared radiation characteristic of hard siltstone induced by stratification effect

The deformation in sedimentary rock induced by train loads has potential threat to the safe operation of tunnels. This study investigated the influence of stratification structure on the infrared radiation and temporal damage mechanism of hard siltstone. The uniaxial co.pression tests, co.pled with aco.stic emission(AE) and infrared radiation temperature(IRT) were co.ducted on siltstones with different stratification effects. The results revealed that the stratigraphic structure significantly affects the stress-strain response and strength degradation characteristics. The mechanical parameters exhibit anisotropy characteristics, and the stratification effect exhibits a negative co.relation with the cracking stress and peak stress. The failure modes caused by the stratification effect show remarkable anisotropic features, including splitting failure(Ⅰ: 0°-22.50°, Ⅱ: 90°), co.posite failure(45°), and shearing failure(67.50°). The AE temporal sequences demonstrate a stepwise response characteristic to the loading stress level. The AE intensity indicates that the stress sensitivity of shearing failure and co.posite failure is generally greater than that of splitting failure. The IRT field has spatiotemporal migration and progressive dissimilation with stress loading and its dissimilation degree increases under higher stress levels. The stronger the stratification effect, the greater the dissimilation degree of the IRT field. The abnormal characteristic points of average infrared radiation temperature(AIRT) variance at local stress drop and peak stress can be used as early and late precursors to identify fracture instability. Theoretical analysis shows that the co.petitive relationship between co.paction strengthening and fracturing damage intensifies the dissimilation of the infrared thermal field for an increasing stress level. The present study provides a theoretical reference for disaster warnings in hard sedimentary rock mass.

A new sco.r co.ntermeasure using solidified slurry for offshore foundation has been proposed *** solidified slurry is pumped to seabed area around foundation for sco.r protection or pumped into the developed sco.r holes for sco.r repair as the fluidized material solidifies *** the pumping operation and solidification,the engineering behaviors of solidified slurry require to be co.sidered synthetically for the reliable application in sco.r repair and protection of ocean engineering such as the pumpability related flow value,flow diffusion behavior related rheological property,anti-sco.r performance related retention rate in solidification and bearing capacity related strength property after *** this study,a series of laboratory tests are co.ducted to investigate the effects of mix proportion(initial water co.tent and binder co.tent)on the flow value,rheological properties,density,retention rate of solidified slurry and unco.fined co.pressive strength(UCS).The results reveal that the flow value increases with the water co.tent and decreases with the binder *** the solidified slurry exhibits Bingham plastic behavior when the shear rate is larger than 5 s^(-1).The Bingham model has been employed to fit the rheology test results,and empirical formulas for obtaining the density,yield stress and visco.ity are established,providing scientific support for the numerical assessment of flow and diffusion of solidified *** rate of solidified slurry decreases with the water flow velocity and flow value,which means the pumpability of solidified slurry is co.trary to anti-sco.r *** unco.fined co.pressive strength after solidification reduces as the water co.tent increases and binder co.tent decreases.A design and application procedure of solidified soil for sco.r repair and protection is also proposed for engineering reference.
