In tunnel co.struction with tunnel boring machines(TBMs),accurate prediction of the remaining useful life(RUL)of disc cutters is critical for timely maintenance and replacement to avoid delays and co.t *** paper introduces a novel hybrid model,integrating fundamental and data-driven approaches,to enhance wear prediction of TBM disc cutters and enable accurate RUL *** fundamental model is improved by inco.porating co.posite wear mechanisms and load estimation techniques,showcasing superior prediction accuracy co.pared to single-mechanism ***,the hybrid model innovatively inco.porates a data-driven supplementary residual term into the improved fundamental model,leading to a high-performance wear prediction *** actual field data from a highway tunnel project in Shenzhen,the performance of the hybrid model is rigorously tested and co.pared with pure fundamental and data-driven *** hybrid model outperforms the other models,achieving the highest accuracy in predicting TBM disc cutter wear(mean absolute error(MAE)=0.53,root mean square error(RMSE)=0.64).Furthermore,this study thoroughly analyzes the hybrid model’s generalization capability,revealing significant impacts of geological co.ditions on prediction *** model’s generalization capability is also improved by expanding and updating the data *** RUL estimation results provided by the hybrid model are straightforward and effective,making it a valuable tool by which co.struction staff can monitor TBM disc cutters.

Pervious co.crete is a special type of co.crete that is of high porosity and co.tains no or a small amount of fine aggregate,and it is an important basic material for sponge city *** presence of a large number of co.nected pores inside pervious co.crete leads to a marked difference in durability failure mechanism co.pared with that of ordinary *** this study,the frost resistance and anti-clogging of pervious co.crete were introduced in detail,and the methods to improve their performance were summarized *** cracking pattern of pervious co.crete is influenced by geometric characteristics and three-dimensional morphological features of pores,resulting in its crack generation,development,and geometry being significantly different from those of ordinary co.crete,thus leading to different freeze-thaw cycle *** addition,due to its different pore structure co.pared to ordinary co.crete,three types of clogging mechanisms,affecting the long-term permeability of pervious co.crete were elaborated systematically(i.e.,physical clogging,biological clogging,and chemical clogging).And the ways to improve the anti-clogging of pervious co.crete are systematically presented from multiple ***,in order to broaden the engineering applications of pervious co.crete,some research proposals are presented in this study.

Polyester Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic(Polyester GFRP),a thermosetting plastic co.prised of glass fiber and polyester polymer co.pounds,is extensively utilized in high-speed *** its pyrolysis mechanism is crucial as it significantly influences the co.bustion characteristics and fire safety ***,kinetic research on polyester GFRP primarily focuses on employing the co.ts-Redfern method to derive a theoretical kinetic ***,the pyrolysis process of polyester GFRP is co.plex and the aforementioned theoretical model fails to accurately describe the pyrolysis ***,this study seeks to utilize the Sestak and Berggren(SB) model as a methodological approach to reveal the co.plex reaction mechanism during the pyrolysis *** on thermogravimetric analysis,the entire pyrolysis process of polyester GFRP is divided into two primary ***,model-free methods are employed to ascertain the activation energy and pre-exponential *** results show that the fitted empirical models of the two main pyrolysis stages are f(α)=(1-α)^(1.47)[-ln(1-α)]^(1.50) and f(α)=(1-α)^(1.77)[-ln(1-α)]^(1.72),*** predicted results are in good agreement with experimental data under different heating rates,which indicates that the empirical model can sufficiently describe the pyrolysis process of polyester GFRP.

1 Project overview The“Beishan No.1”,the world’s first-ever hard rock Tunnel Boring Machine(TBM)tailored for high-gradient spiral tunnels,co.stitutes a pivotal element within the Beishan Underground Research Laboratory(URL)initiative in *** URL,the first URL for geological disposal of high level radioactive waste(HLW)in china,is a national key co.struction project listed in the“13th Five-Year Plan”.In 2019,subsequent to receiving approval from the china Atomic Energy Authority,the Beijing Research Institute of Uranium Geology(BRIUG),serving as the project’s owner,initiated its *** underground facility,categorized as a“third generation”URL for HLW disposal,i.e.,area-specific URL,was located in Beishan,Jiuquan City,Gansu Province,china,following more than three decades of rigorous research on site selection.

In recent years,co.ntries worldwide have actively advocated electric vehicles for environmental ***-ever,restrictions on the driving range and charging have hampered the promotion of electric *** study proposes a portable,auxiliary photovoltaic power system based on a foldable scissors mechanism for electric *** system includes a photovoltaic power generation module and an electricity transfer *** photovoltaic power generation module built based on a foldable scissors mechanism is five times smaller than in its unfolded state,improving its portability in its folded *** electricity transfer module transfers electricity into the cabin via wireless power transfer units and stores electricity in *** simulation exper-iments were co.ducted to evaluate the system’s performance:maximum output power of 1.736 W is measured when the load is 5Ω,while maximum wireless power transfer efficiency is up to 57.7% with 10Ω *** elec-tric vehicle in Chengdu city was simulated for a case *** results show that the annual output of a single photovoltaic power system can drive the MINIEV for 423.625 km,indicating that the proposed system would be able to supply power for electric vehicles as an auxiliary power supply system.

In light of the difficult removal of harmful impurity tungsten(W)in Ce metal,in this paper a co.bined vacuum gravity sedimentation-directional solidification method was innovatively designed and the W separation behavior was *** reducing the electron beam power instantly and gradually at reduction rates of 1,3 and 5 kW/min,it is found that W is enriched at the bottom of ingots as the melt *** enrichment effect is much better than that of single purification method and the enrichment degree increases as the beam reduction rate decreases,attributed to the k0(W)>1 andρ(W)>ρ(Ce).Overall,the minimum co.tent of W impurity can decrease from 630 to 0.1 ppm at the top of the ingot,and the purity of Ce increases from 99.932 wt%to 99.995 wt%by this co.bined ***,this paper provides a new method for the removal of high density and low evaporation co.fficient impurities in low vapor pressure rare earth metals.

It is important to investigate whether co.bining two modification strategies has a synergistic effect on the activity of *** this manuscript,Fe-doped BiOBr/Bi_(2)WO_(6) heterojunctions were synthesized by a one-pot solvothermal method,and excellent photocatalytic performance was obtained for the degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride(TCH)in water without the addition of *** experiments and characterization,the synergistic effect between Fe ion doping and the BiOBr/Bi_(2)WO_(6) heterojunction was *** Fe/BiOBr/Bi_(2)WO_(6) co.posite photocatalyst had a beneficial void structure,enhanced visible light response,and co.ld inhibit the reco.bination of photogenerated support well,which improved the photocatalytic *** presented experiments demonstrate that Fe/BiOBr/Bi_(2)WO_(6) removes 97% of TCH from aqueous solution,while pure BiOBr and Bi_(2)WO_(6) only remove 56% and 65% of TCH,***,the separation and transfer mechanisms of photoexcited carriers were determined in co.junction with the experimental *** study provides a new direction for the design of efficient photocatalysts through the use of a dual co.modification strategy.
