In order to facilitate herpetological research for all the herpetologists both in and outside of China, we will report all the type specimens of amphibia and reptilia deposited in the Herpetological Museum of chengdu institute of biology(CIB), chinese academy of sciences in series. This report focuses on the family Rhacophoridae of Anura in Amphibia, including 13 species. The contents of the report include synonym lists and generic transfer of type species, measurements of type specimens, particularly for those with no previously published measurement data, and chromosomal data for each species.

In China,there are over 180 species of snakes in 57 genera and eight families(excluding the family Viperidae). In the Herpetological Museum of the chengdu institute of biology(CIB),chinese academy of sciences,the snake type specimens represent 11 species in 10 genera and three families(Xenopeltidae,Xenodermatidae and Colubridae). As a series of reports on the type specimens of Amphibia and Reptilia deposited in the Herpetological Museum of CIB,this paper focuses on the serpent families excluding Viperidae in the collections at this Museum.

In China, there are about 37 species of vipers belonging to 12 genera in the family Viperidae. In the Herpetological Museum of the chengdu institute of biology（CIB）, chinese academy of sciences, the type specimens of snakes represent seven species in four genera. As a series of reports on the type specimens of Amphibians and Reptilies deposited in the Herpetological Museum of CIB, this paper focuses on the venomous snake family Viperidae in the collections at this Museum.

In the present study, we report the six type specimens and two paratypes of eight lizard species in the Herpetological Museum of the chengdu institute of biology（CIB）, chinese academy of sciences（CAS）. Each entry provides the information of the original description, the catalog number of the holotype, sex, type locality, and information of allotype and paratype（if any）, number and distribution of deposited specimens, and comments. Additionally, two invalid species and one invalid subspecies are discussed.

Genetic dissection and validation of a major QTL for grain weight on chromosome 3B in bread wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)

Grain weight is one of the key components of wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)*** manipulation of grain weight is an efficient approach for improving yield potential in breeding programs.A recombinant inbred line(RIL)population derived from a cross between W7268 and Chuanyu 12(CY12)was employed to detect quantitative trait loci(QTLs)for thousand-grain weight(TGW),grain length(GL),grain width(GW),and the ratio of grain length to width(GLW)in six *** major QTLs,***-2D,***-2D,***-3B,***-4B.1,***-2D.1,***-2D.1 and ***-3B.1,were consistently identified in at least four environments and the best linear unbiased estimation(BLUE)datasets,and they explained 2.61 to 34.85%of the phenotypic *** interactions were detected between the two major TGW QTLs and three major GW *** addition,***-3B.1 and ***-3B were co-located,and the improved TGW at this locus was contributed by *** other loci,***-3B.1/***-3B had no effect on grain number per spike(GNS).They were further validated in advanced lines using Kompetitive Allele Specific PCR(KASP)markers,and a comparison analysis indicated that ***-3B.1/***-3B is likely a novel *** haplotypes were identified in the region of this QTL and their distribution frequencies varied between the landraces and *** to gene annotation,spatial expression patterns,ortholog analysis and sequence variation,the candidate gene of ***-3B.1/***-3B was ***,the major QTLs and KASP markers reported here provide valuable information for elucidating the genetic architecture of grain weight and for molecular marker-assisted breeding in grain yield improvement.

The plateau environments are typically arid,cool,and high altitude,posing formidable challenges to wildlife survival due to resource scarcity and harsh *** ecological adaptability in severe conditions requires a deeper understanding of the niche characteristics of plateau *** niche,which is a comprehensive indicator describing the energy acquisition strategy of animals,remains relatively understudied in plateau ***,by combining stable isotopes and morphological data,we quantified the trophic niches of two allopatric lizard species(Phrynocephalus vlangalii and ***)that live in the hinterland of the Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau,and explored how their trophic niches correlate with morphological and environmental *** both trophic niche and morphological traits were similar between species,noteworthy distinctions were observed between male and female Phrynocephalus *** morphological traits associated with predation(*** length and head size)and reproduction(*** length),annual mean temperature,and sex played influential roles in shifting trophic *** results imply that sexual dimorphism may facilitate inter-sex divergence in resource utilization,leading to trophic niche variations in the highland ***,extreme environmental stress can constrain interspecific divergence in morphological and trophic *** findings illustrate the dynamic variations of trophic niches in highland lizards,contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the adaptation strategies employed by lizard species in plateau environments.

Ynones are important skeletons in bioactive molecules and valuable building blocks for organic synthesis,thus great efforts have been devoted to their ***,introducing prochiral substrates to construct ynones bearing a chiral framework is unrealized to ***,we reported the first example of Pd/SOP-catalyzed asymmetric carbonylative alkynylation via a non-classical carbonylative Sonogashiratype approach(acyl-Pd(Ⅱ)species generated from nucleophiles).By using cyclic diaryliodonium salts as prochiral substrates,various axial chiral ynones with good functional group tolerance(39 examples),satisfied yields(71%-96%)and excellent enantioselectivities(generally 94%-99%ee)were *** of bioactive compounds,scale-up experiment and useful transformations were also conducted to demonstrate the utility of this process.
