Problem identification and revitalization strategies for the reco.ery and reconstruction of traditional villages in the Ms 6.8 Luding Earthquake

Post-disaster reconstruction is a topic of global co.cern,and traditional villages have special heritage attributes and need to face more requirements and obstacles in post-disaster *** paper summarizes four co.cepts based on the research on post-disaster reconstruction both domestically and internationally,as well as the reco.ery and reconstruction of cultural *** a field survey of traditional villages in the Ms 6.8 Luding earthquake-stricken area,it is found that there are problems such as insufficient awareness of heritage value,misalignment of scientific reconstruction technology,and insufficient protection of reconstruction elements during the reconstruction *** villages face the risk of declining or even loss of heritage *** order to effectively protect traditional villages and inherit the carrier of regional culture,four targeted reconstruction response strategies are proposed,i.e.,to"establish special planning for traditional village preservation","emphasize reco.ery of the authenticity of village heritage","ensure elements for village heritage reco.ery"and"promote the activation and utilization of village heritage",based on the problems disco.ered during the survey and the four co.cepts summarized in the research on post-disaster reconstruction of traditional *** research results hope to provide useful reference for ancient cultural areas affected by earthquakes on how to protect cultural heritage during the post-disaster reconstruction process.

A Lane Change Model co.sidering the Stability of co.perative Adaptive Cruise co.trol Platoon Fleet

In this article,lane change models for mixed traffic flow under co.perative adaptive cruise co.trol(CACC)platoon formation are *** analysis begins by examining the impact of lane changes on traffic flow *** influences of various factors such as lane change locations,timing,and the current traffic state on stability are *** this analysis,it is assumed that the lane change location and the entry position in the adjacent lane have already been selected,without co.sidering the specific intention behind the lane *** speeds of the involved vehicles are adjusted based on an existing lane change model,and various co.ditions are analyzed for traffic flow disturbances,including duration,shock amplitude,and driving *** calculations are provided to illustrate these ***,traffic flow stability is factored into the lane change decision-making *** inco.porating disturbances to the fleet into the lane change inco.e model,both a lane change intention model and a lane change execution model are *** models are then co.pared with a model that does not acco.nt for stability,leading to the co.responding co.clusions.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the hydration behavior and cementitious properties of the mixture of calcium carbonate and aluminate, and to explore whether it can be adopted as a new low-carbon cementitious material. The co.posite system of calcium carbonate and aluminate minerals is studied by measuring the co.ponent of hydration products, the hydration heat, setting time and co.pressive *** results prove that the co.posite system has certain cementitious properties and is feasible to prepare new low-carbon cement.

Multistage multi-cluster hydraulic fracturing has enabled the eco.omic exploitation of shale reservoirs,but the interpretation of hydraulic fracture parameters is *** pressure signals after pump shutdown are influenced by hydraulic fractures,which can reflect the geometric features of hydraulic *** shutdown pressure can be used to interpret the hydraulic fracture parameters in a real-time and co.t-effective *** this paper,a mathematical model for shutdown pressure evolution is developed co.sidering the effects of wellbore friction,perforation friction and fluid loss in *** efficient numerical simulation method is established by using the method of *** on this method,the impacts of fracture half-length,fracture height,opened cluster and perforation number,and filtration co.fficient on the evolution of shutdown pressure are *** results indicate that a larger fracture half-length may hasten the decay of shutdown pressure,while a larger fracture height can slow down the decay of shutdown pressure.A smaller number of opened clusters and perforations can significantly increase the perforation friction and decrease the overall level of shutdown pressure.A larger filtration co.fficient may accelerate the fluid filtration in the fracture and hasten the drop of the shutdown *** simulation method of shutdown pressure,as well as the analysis results,has important implications for the interpretation of hydraulic fracture parameters.

Quantitative characterization of the brittleness of deep shales by integrating mineral co.tent,elastic parameters,in situ stress co.ditions and logging analysis

Deep shale reservoirs(3500–4500 m)exhibit significantly different stress states than moderately deep shale reservoirs(2000–3500 m).As a result,the brittleness response mechanisms of deep shales are also *** is urgent to investigate methods to evaluate the brittleness of deep shales to meet the increasingly urgent needs of deep shale gas *** this paper,the quotient of Young’s modulus divided by Poisson’s ratio based on triaxial co.pression tests under in situ stress co.ditions is taken as SSBV(Static Standard Brittleness Value).A new and pragmatic technique is developed to determine the static brittleness index that co.siders elastic parameters,the mineral co.tent,and the in situ stress co.ditions(BIEMS).The co.fficient of determination between BIEMS and SSBV reaches 0.555 for experimental data and 0.805 for field *** co.fficient is higher than that of other brittleness indices when co.pared to *** can offer detailed insights into shale brittleness under various co.ditions,including different mineral co.positions,depths,and stress *** technique can provide a solid data-based foundation for the selection of‘sweet spots’for single-well engineering and the co.parison of the brittleness of shale gas production layers in different areas.

Dynamic response of buildings under debris flow impact

This study employs the smoothed particle hydrodynamics–finite element method(SPH–FEM) co.pling numerical method to investigate the impact of debris flow on reinforced co.crete(RC)-frame buildings. The methodology co.siders the variables of debris flow depth and velocity and introduces the intensity index IDV(IDV = DV) to evaluate three different levels of debris flow impact intensity. The primary focus of this study is to investigate the dynamic response and failure mechanism of RC-frame buildings under debris flow impact, including structural failure patterns, impact force and co.umn displacement. The results show that under a highintensity impact, a gradual co.lapse process of the RCframe building can be observed, and the damage mode of the frame co.umn reflects shear failure or plastic hinge failure mechanism. First, the longitudinal infill walls are damaged owing to their low out-of-plane flexural capacity;the critical failure intensity index IDV value is approximately 7.5 m2/s. The structure cannot withstand debris flows with an intensity index IDV greater than 16 m2/s, and it is reco.mended that the peak impact force should not exceed 2100 k N. The impact damage ability of debris flow on buildings mostly originates from the impact force of the frontal debris flow, with the impact force of the debris flow body being approximately 42% lower than that of the debris flow head. Finally, a five-level classification system for evaluating the damage status of buildings is proposed based on the numerical simulation and investigation results of the disaster site.

In this study,we proposed a reco.nition method based on deep artificial neural networks to identify various elements in pipelines and instrumentation diagrams(P&ID)in image formats,such as symbols,texts,and ***,the P&ID image format is reco.nized manually,and there is a problem with a high reco.nition error rate;therefore,automation of the above process is an important issue in the processing plant *** China National Offshore Petrochemical Engineering *** the image set used in this study,which co.tains 51 P&ID drawings in the *** co.verted the PDF P&ID drawings to PNG P&IDs with an image size of 8410×*** addition,we used labeling software to annotate the images,divided the dataset into training and test sets in a 3:1 ratio,and deployed a deep neural network for *** method proposed in this study is divided into three *** first step segments the images and reco.nizes symbols using YOLOv5+*** seco.d step determines text regions using character region awareness for text detection,and performs character reco.nition within the text region using the optical character reco.nition *** third step is pipeline reco.nition using YOLOv5+*** symbol reco.nition accuracy was 94.52%,and the recall rate was 93.27%.The reco.nition accuracy in the text positioning stage was 97.26%and the recall rate was 90.27%.The reco.nition accuracy in the character reco.nition stage was 90.03%and the recall rate was 91.87%.The pipeline identification accuracy was 92.9%,and the recall rate was 90.36%.

Channel prediction is critical to address the channel aging issue in mobile *** channel prediction techniques are mainly designed for discrete channel prediction,which can only predict the future channel in a fixed time slot per frame,while the other intra-frame channels are usually reco.ered by ***,these approaches suffer from a serious interpolation loss,especially for mobile millimeter-wave *** solve this challenging problem,we propose a tensor neural ordinary differential equation(TN-ODE)based co.tinuous-time channel prediction scheme to realize the direct prediction of intra-frame ***,inspired by the recently developed co.tinuous mapping model named neural ODE in the field of machine learning,we first utilize the neural ODE model to predict future co.tinuous-time *** improve the channel prediction accuracy and reduce co.putational co.plexity,we then propose the TN-ODE scheme to learn the structural characteristics of the high-dimensional channel by low-dimensional learnable *** results show that the proposed scheme is able to achieve higher intra-frame channel prediction accuracy than existing schemes.
