Progressive osseous heteroplasia(POH)is an ultra-rare autosomal dominant disabling disorder characterized by heterotopic ossification(HO).It is caused by heterozygous inactivating mutations in the GNAS(guanine nucleotide-binding protein alpha-stimulating activity polypeptide)***,the molecular mechanisms underlying HO remain poorly *** a treatment for POH is not yet available,the identification of the mechanisms driving POH in affected tissues using gene expression may be of great help to underestand the molecular basis of POH and develop new therapeutic approaches.

Colorectal cancer(CRC)remains one of the most commonly diagnosed and deadliest types of cancer *** displays a desmoplastic reaction(DR)that has been inversely associated with poor prognosis;less DR is associated with a better *** reaction generates excessive connective tissue,in which cancer-associated fibroblasts(CAFs)are critical cells that form a part of the tumor *** are directly involved in tumorigenesis through different ***,their role in immunosuppression in CRC is not well understood,and the precise role of signal transducers and activators of transcription(STATs)in mediating CAF activity in CRC remains *** the myriad chemical and biological factors that affect CAFs,different cytokines mediate their function by activating STAT signaling ***,the harmful effects of CAFs in favoring tumor growth and invasion may be modulated using STAT ***,we analyze the impact of different STATs on CAF activity and their immunoregulatory role.

Patterns of variation in the size of vulture foraging groups,and their ecological causes and consequences,remain litle explored despite strong links with the carrion recycling service that this key functional group *** documented the group size-frequency pattern of Andean con-dors Vultur gryphus gathered to feed on 42 equine carcasses experimentally placed in Bolivia,between 2012 and 2019,along an elevation range of 1,300-4,500 m *** on the location(altitude and latitude)of the foraging groups,we examined the relationship between their size and species'population parameters(size and trend),habitat conditions,and livestock carcass availability and *** utilized a high frequency(93%)of carcasses forming groups that ranged from 1 to 80 individuals(mean=25,median=18)and shaped a"lazy-J curve"typical pattern of size-frequency distribution whereby few groups(5,12%)were large(>55 individuals)and most(21,50%)were relatively small(de in that most larger groups formed at lower sites(below c.3,000 m asl),likely following an altitudinal gradient whereby larger groups are more likely to form around larger carcasses(i.e.,cattle),which are more likely to occur at lower *** of population size,group size could be an adaptive response of condors via local enhancement for improving individual scavenging *** information gaps on this topic still exist,thus we provide a set of questions to address them,especially amidst the unrestricted impacts of human activities that condition vulture survival globally.

Using a single-mode approximation, we carry out the entanglement measures, e.g., the negativity and von Neumann entropy when a tetrapartite generalized GHZ state is treated in a noninertial frame, but only uniform acceleration is considered for simplicity. In terms of explicit negativity calculated, we notice that the difference between the algebraic average π_(4) and geometric average Π_(4) is very small with the increasing accelerated observers and they are totally equal when all four qubits are accelerated simultaneously. The entanglement properties are discussed from one accelerated observer to all four accelerated observers. It is shown that the entanglement still exists even if the acceleration parameter r goes to infinity. It is interesting to discover that all 1-1 tangles are equal to zero, but 1-3 and 2-2 tangles always decrease when the acceleration parameter γ increases. We also study the von Neumann entropy and find that it increases with the number of the accelerated observers. In addition, we find that the von Neumann entropy S_(ABCDI), S_(ABCIDI), S_(ABICIDI) and S_(AIBICIDI) always decrease with the controllable angle θ, while the entropies S_(3-3 non), S_(3-2 non), S_(3-1 non) and S_(3-0 non) first increase with the angle θ and then decrease with it.

Germline activating variants in WWP1,which encodes an E3 ubiquitin ligase that antagonizes PTen tumor suppressive function,have been proposed as an alternative mechanism of PTen inactivation in PTen-hamartoma-tumor syndrome(PHTS)-like patients with wildtype PTen.1 More specifically,heterozygous,potentially activating wwP1 variants were first identified by Lee et al in patients affected with gastrointestinal oligopolyposis,including adenomatous,hyperplastic/serrated,and hamartomatous polyps,and occasionally with colorectal cancer(Table 1).Subsequently,based on the PHTS phenotypic features,wWP1 mutational screening was performed in patients with thyroid nodules,2 or normocephalic autism spectrum disorder(ASD),3 where germline WWP1 variants were also identified(Table S1).

Based on a Hamfltonian identity, we study one-dimensional generalized hypervirial theorem, Blanchardlike （non-diagonal case） and Kramers＇（diagonal case） recurrence relations for arbitrary x^k which is independent of the central potential V（x）. Some significant results in diagonal case are obtained for special k in xk （k ≥2）. In particular, we find the orthogonal relation 〈n1｜n2〉 = δh1,n2 （k = 0）, 〈n1[V＇（x）｜n2〉 = （en1-en2）^2〈n1｜x｜n2〉（k = 1）, en = （n｜V＇（x）x/2｜n〉＋（n｜V（x）｜n〉（k = 2） and -4en（n｜x｜n） ~ 〈n｜V＇（x）x^2｜n〉＋ 4〈n｜V（x）x｜n〉 =0 （k=3）. The latter two formulas can be used directly to calculate the energy levels. We present useYul explicit relations for some well known physical potentials without requiring the energy spectra of quantum system.

The kinetics of CO2 reforming of methane has been studied at 976－1033K on a commercial NiO/CaO/Al2O3 catalyst in a packed-bed continuous reactor. The reaction was carried out at atmospheric pressure and CO2/CH4 ratio ＞ 2. The Hougen-Watson rate models were fitted to experimental data assuming the disso ciative adsorption of methane as the rate-determining step. The reaction rate showed an effective reaction order of about unity for CH4. The apparent activity energy was found to be 104 kJ·mol-1. Therefore the kinetic reaction parameters were determined and a possible reaction mechanism was proposed.
