Background:Patients with colon cancer who receive chemotherapy usually experience various gastrointestinal adverse reactions,including nausea,vomiting,and diarrhea,which make it challenging for them to adhere to *** an effective traditional chinese medicine,the Jianpi Bushen formula has been widely used to alleviate the side effects of ***:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Jianpi Bushen formulae for patients who undergo *** statistical analysis plan(SAP)is intended to enhance the transparency and research quality of our randomized controlled ***:Our study is a multicenter,double-blind,randomized controlled clinical *** trial aimed to compare the completion rate of chemotherapy in colon cancer patients who are using and not using Jianpi Bushen *** attenuate possible selection bias in the final report,we declared the overall trial design,outcome measures,subgroup analyses,and safety ***,we described the data management and statistical analysis methods in ***:The SAP provides more detailed information than the trial protocol for data management and statistical analysis *** post-hoc analyses can be performed by referring to the SAP,and possible selection bias can be attenuated.

Tuina for treatment of atopic eczema in children under 14 years: A systematic review of randomized controlled trials

Differences in Contents and Formation Methods of Clinical Questions in chinese and Korean Clinical Practice Guidelines of Acupuncture-Moxibustion:Scoping Review

Objective:To analyze the differences in the needs of users and the value orientation of clinical practice guidelines(CPGs)by comparing the contents and formation methods of clinical questions in chinese and Korean CPGs of acupuncture-moxibustion(Acup-Mox).Methods:The full text of CPGs was systematically searched from the official websites of chinese and Korean traditional medicine societies and Acup-Mox associations,with the topic"Acup-Mox for treating diseases"and the retrieval time up to September 28,*** researchers screened the CPGs independently,and extracted the guidelines'topics,content,quantity and formation methods of clinical *** quantitative data were collected by counting the frequency,and the qualitative data were classified and described by thematic ***:A total of 29 guidelines were included in this study,including 20 chinese guidelines(305 questions)and 9 Korean guidelines(223 questions).The differences lie in the aspects of content and diversity,and formation *** for content and diversity,chinese guidelines focused mainly on the questions related to treatment such as the operation of specific intervention(86,28.2%),efficacy of intervention(78,25.6%),and also involving questions in diagnosis,prevention,and *** the clinical questions in Korean guidelines were concentrated to efficacy of intervention(218,97.8%).As for formation method,in chinese guidelines,questions were usually collected directly from clinicians,and then determined and optimized by *** Korean guidelines,frequently used clinical Acup-Mox interventions would be screened *** the expert group would set up corresponding intervention control measures so as to form clinical questions related to treatment ***:The differences reflect the different needs of clinical practitioners,and the different aims or concepts in developing Acup-Mox guidelines between China and South *** guidelines emphasized promoting oper

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effectiveness of the Traditional chinese medicine tonifying-kidney and regulating-liver therapy on diminished ovarian reserve(DOR).METHODS: The literature was comprehensively searched up to August 2019 using four chinese and three English electronic databases to extract randomized clinical trials(RCTs) comparing Traditional chinese medicine tonifying-kidney and regulating-liver prescriptions(combined with hormone therapy or not) with Western medicine. Data quality evaluation was conducted using the Cochrane risk of bias tool. Meta-analysis was conducted using Revman 5.3 software with effect estimates presented as mean difference(MD), risk ratio(RR), and95% confidence interval(CI).RESULTS: A total of nine RCTs with 512 participants were extracted and eligible for *** were no significant differences between chinese medicine and Western medicine on basal serum follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) level(MD0.11, 95% CI-0.52 to 0.74, 392 participants, seven trials), anti-Müllerian hormone level(MD 0.48, 95%CI-0.62 to 1.58, 95 participants, two trials), and the FSH and luteinizing hormone ratio(MD 0.01,95% CI-0.95 to 0.96, 115 participants, two trials).chinese medicine was more effective at improving Traditional chinese medicine symptom scores(TCMSS)(MD-2.39, 95% CI-3.83 to-0.94, 160 participants, three trials), effective rate of TCMSS(RR1.18, 95% CI 1.02 to 1.36, 160 participants, three trials), antral follicle count(AFC)(MD 0.55, 95% CI 0.05 to 1.04, 155 participants, three trials), and FSH levels at 3 months post-treatment(MD-4.77, 95% CI-6.09 to-3.45, 137 participants, two trials).CONCLUSION: Compared with Western medicine,tonifying-kidney and regulating-liver therapy is more effective at relieving symptoms and improving AFC and FSH at 3 months post-treatment.
