The risk of flammability is an unavoidable issue for gel polymer electrolytes(GPEs).Usually,flameretardant solvents are necessary to be used,but most of them would react with anode/cathode easily and cause serious interfacial instability,which is a big challenge for design and application of nonflammable ***,a nonflammable GPE(SGPE)is developed by in situ polymerizing trifluoroethyl methacrylate(TFMA)monomers with flame-retardant triethyl phosphate(TEP)solvents and LiTFSI–LiDFOB dual lithium *** is strongly anchored to PTFMA matrix via polarity interaction between-P=O and-CH_(2)CF_(3).It reduces free TEP molecules,which obviously mitigates interfacial reactions,and enhances flame-retardant performance of TEP *** TEP molecules are also inhibited in solvation of Li^(+),leading to anion-dominated solvation sheath,which creates inorganic-rich solid electrolyte interface/cathode electrolyte interface *** coordination structure changes Li^(+)transport from sluggish vehicular to fast structural transport,raising ionic conductivity to 1.03 mS cm^(-1) and transfer number to 0.41 at 30℃.The Li|SGPE|Li cell presents highly reversible Li stripping/plating performance for over 1000 h at 0.1 mA cm^(−2),and 4.2 V LiCoO_(2)|SGPE|Li battery delivers high average specific capacity>120 mAh g^(−1) over 200 *** study paves a new way to make nonflammable GPE that is compatible with Li metal anode.

Magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect in Nd_xLa_(1-x)Fe_(11.5)Al_(1.5) compounds

Effects of Nd-doping on the magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effects （MCEs） of NdxLa1-xFe11.5Al1.5 have been investigated. Substitution of Nd leads to a weakening of the antiferromagnetic （AFM） coupling and an enhancement of the ferromagnetic （FM） coupling. This in turn results in a complex magnetic behaviour for Nd0.2La0.8Fe11.5Al1.5 characterized by the occurrence of two phase transitions at ～188 K （PM AFM） and ～159 K （AFM-FM）. As a result, a table-like MCE （9 J/kg.K） is found in a wide temperature range （160-185 K） for a field change of 0-5T around the transition temperature, as evidenced by both the magnetic and calorimetric measurements. Based on the analysis of low-temperature heat capacity, it is found that the AFM-FM phase transition modifies the electron density significantly, and the major contribution to the entropy change comes from the electronic entropy change.

Diffraction of white-light supercontinuum by femtosecond laser-induced transient grating in carbon bisulfide

Experiments on fs laser-induced transient grating （LITG） in carbon bisulfide （CS2） are carried out to explore the chirp characteristics of a white-light supercontinuum （SC） generated by a 800-nm, 160-fs laser pulse in a 4-mm thick Al2O3 crystal. Two orders of diffraction signals of SC by fs LITG in CS2 are observed, demonstrating that both the third-order process and the fifth-order process are present simultaneously. The experimental results also imply that the formation of an fs transient refractive-index grating in CS2 is mainly due to the electronic polarization process.

The nearly single phase(R_(0.4)Pr_(0.6))_(0.5)Ca_(0.5)Ba_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7-δ)compounds(R=La,Pr,Nd,Sm,Eu,Gd and Y)with Tc about 100 K were prepared under high pressure and high temperature using the cubic anvil *** Tc is much higher than that of the traditional R-123 superconductors without doping Ca on the rare-earth *** various rare earths with different ionic radius,the(R_(0.4)Pr_(0.6))_(0.5)Ca_(0.5)Ba_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7-δ)compounds have almost the same critical *** is different from the result of the ion-size effect of rare-earth ions in R1-xPrxBa2Cu3O7-δ*** results show that Pr has the same properties as other rare earths in the 123-phase compounds due to the doping of Ca.

Analysis of thermal conductivity in tree-like branched networks

Asymmetric tree-like branched networks are explored by geometric algorithms. Based on the network, an analysis of the thermal conductivity is presented. The relationship between effective thermal conductivity and geometric structures is obtained by using the thermal-electrical analogy technique. In all studied cases, a clear behaviour is observed, where angle （δ,θ） among parent branching extended lines, branches and parameter of the geometric structures have stronger effects on the effective thermal conductivity. When the angle δ is fixed, the optical diameter ratio β＋ is dependent on angle θ. Moreover, γand m are not related to β＊. The longer the branch is, the smaller the effective thermal conductivity will be. It is also found that when the angle θ〈δ2, the higher the iteration m is, the lower the thermal conductivity will be and it tends to zero, otherwise, it is bigger than zero. When the diameter ratio β1 〈 0.707 and angle δ is bigger, the optimal k of the perfect ratio increases with the increase of the angle δ; when β1 〉 0.707, the optimal k decreases. In addition, the effective thermal conductivity is always less than that of single channel material. The present results also show that the effective thermal conductivity of the asymmetric tree-like branched networks does not obey Murray＇s law.

Measurement-induced disturbance and nonequilibrium thermal entanglement in a qutrit qubit mixed spin XXZ model

We investigate the dynamics of nonequilibrium thermal quantum correlation of a qutrit-qubit mixed spin system coupled to two bosonic reservoirs at different temperatures using measurement-induced disturbance. The effects of initial states of the spins and temperatures of the reservoirs on measurement-induced disturbance and entanglement are discussed. The results demonstrate that measurement-induced disturbance is more robust than entanglement against the influence of both these factors and there is no sudden death phenomenon for measurement-induced disturbance. The dependences of steady-state measurement-induced disturbance and entanglement on coupling constant and anisotropy parameter are also studied. Steady-state entanglement vanishes for a ferromagnetic qutrit-qubit model, while steady- state measurement-induced disturbance exists for both the antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic cases. Appropriately modulating the coupling constant and anisotropy parameter can strengthen quantum correlation.

Effect of single walled carbon nanotubes on series resistance of Rose Bengal and Methyl Red dye-based organic photovoltaic device

The influence of single walled carbon nanotube（SWCNT）on the series resistanceof Rose Bengal（RB）and Methyl Red（MR）dye-based organic diodes has been *** has been revealed from experimental results that SWCNT has a significant effect on *** values of Rs are measured from current–voltage（I–V）characteristics and also by utilizing the Cheung *** values from the Cheung method have been verified using H（I）–I plots for all dye-based *** extracted values using these two processes show a good consistency with each *** is observed that Rs is reduced significantly by incorporating SWCNT for both *** estimated amounts of reduction of Rs using SWCNT are 76.08%and 64.23%obtained from the I–V relationship whereas the value of Rs shows a reduction of 83.5%and 67.1%when measured by using the Cheung method for RB and MR dyes *** ideality factor and barrier height of the diodes have also been *** ideality factor has decreased with incorporation of SWCNT.A reduction in barrier height for the devices has also been observed in the presence of SWCNT.

Bi_(2)Sr_(2-x)LaxCu_(1)O_(6+δ)(La-2201)thin films were successfully prepared on(100)SrTiO_(3) and(100)LaAIO_(3) substrates by in-situ dc-magnetron sputtering process.A series compensated 2201 targets of La^(3+)substitution contents for Sr^(2+)were studied for growing 2201 phase thin *** superconducting zero resistance temperature T_(c,0) reached 19K.X-ray diffraction analyses showed that films oriented with c-axis perpendicular to the substrate surface and their lattice parameters are around 2.43-2.46nm.Ф-scan and rocking curve show a good epitaxial growth and crystallisation of the films.

We present a scheme for implementing a three-qubit phase gate via manipulating rf superconducting quantum interference device （SQUID） qubits in the decoherence-free subspace with respect to cavity decay. Through appropriate changes of the coupling constants between rf SQUIDs and cavity, the scheme can be realized only in one step. A high fidelity is obtained even in the presence of decoherence.

Electric Field-Induced Fluid Velocity Field Distribution in DNA Solution

We present an analytical solution for fluid velocity field distribution of polyelectrolyte DNA. Both the electric field force and the viscous force in the DNA solution are considered under a suitable boundary condition. The solution of electric potential is analytically obtained by using the linearized Poisson-Boltzmann equation. The fluid velocity along the electric field is dependent on the cylindrical radius and concentration. It is shown that the electric field-induced fluid velocity will be increased with the increasing cylindrical radius, whose distribution also varies with the concentration
