Objectives:Peracetic acid(PAA) is widely used in the food industry for disinfecting buildings and equipment and for sterilizing plastic bottles;particularly those used for packaging fruit juices or sweetened *** study was undertaken to determine the effect of subacute exposure of peracetic acid(PAA) on lipid peroxidation and hepatic enzymes in Wistar ***:The study was performed on 48 male animals in Treatment Group I,II and III received 0.2,2 and 20% PAA daily for 2 and 4 ***:Serum malondialdehyde(MDA) increased and Alanine Transaminase(ALT) and Aspartate Transaminase(AST) decreased significantly in groups 2 and 3,in comparison with control *** MDA,ALT and AST with 0.2% and 2% doses of PAA for 2 weeks do not lead to the alteration of MDA and enzyme *** was no significant difference between group one and control *** treatment group three received 20% PAA daily for 4 weeks was ***:This study demonstrated that the enhancement of MDA could provide an oxidative damage induced by disinfectant PAA at 20% and 2% doses at 2 and 4 *** the consumption of PAA with 20% for 2 weeks and 2% for 4 weeks can cause the increase of malondialdehyde and the decrease of enzyme activities,respectively.

原发性免疫性血小板减少症(ITP)中少见但至关重要的危重出血事件,给患者的预后、生活质量和治疗决策带来严重影响.尽管有一些研究探讨了ITP中与危重出血相关的风险因素,但目前尚缺乏大样本数据、大规模多中心研究结果以及针对ITP患者致命出血事件的预测模型.本研究首次采用国际血栓与止血学会新提出的ITP致命出血标准,利用大样本数据开发了首个基于机器学习的在线应用,用于预测ITP患者的致命出血.研究中,我们使用中国各地大型多中心数据进行开发,并对全国39家医疗中心进行为期一年的外部测试,得到了较好的训练、验证和测试数据集预测能力.该基于新算法的便捷网络工具能够快速识别ITP患者的出血风险,辅助临床决策,有望未来降低不良事件的发生.

The present experiment was conducted to clone small heat-shock protein （sHSP） in sugarcane to explore mechanism of stress resistance in sugarcane. sHSP was amplified using RT-PCR from sugarcane leaves, the characteristics of the deduced protein wereanalyzed using bioinformatics software, and its expression was analyzed using quantitative real-time PCR. The results showed that the eDNA of HSP gene obtained by RT-PCR which was 659 bp in full length with a 459 bp open reading frame, encodes a putative sHSP protein with 152 amino acids. Homology comparison between the amino acid sequences of the sHSP protein and 14 di[- ferent species indicated that the sHSP protein had 69% to 96% identity in amino acid sequence with other plants. The deduced amino acid sequence not only conrained a typical sHSP domain, but also was very conservative. The results of quantitative real-time PCR analysis showed that the mRNA of sHSP decreased inilially and then increased with time under drought stress. These results suggested that sHSP is expressed under induction of drought stress, anddrought resistance in sugarcane is enhanced by Si application.

With the rapid development of sequencing technologies,followed by the reduction of sequencing cost,numerous ornamental plants have been sequenced,resulting in their genomic studies shifting from gene cloning and marker development to whole genome profiling.A profound understanding of genome structure and function at the whole genome level can not only help to modify ornamental traits,such as fragrance,color and flower shape,through genetic engineering,but also infer the genetic relationship and evolutionary history of ornamental plants via comparative genomics *** this paper,we review the current situation of sequencing strategies and the application of genomics to study the origin and evolution of ornamental *** highlight challenges of ornamental plant genomic *** use of cutting-edge technologies,such as genomics,gene editing and molecular design polymerization breeding,can facilitate our understanding of genetic regulation mechanisms and the germplasm innovation of important traits in ornamental *** results can be expected to significantly increase the breeding efficiency of ornamental plants.

AIM:To investigate the role of IKBKAP(inhibitor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B-cells,kinase complexassociated protein)in the development of enteric nervous system(ENS)and Hirschsprung disease(HSCR).METHODS:In this study,we injected a morpholino that blocked the translation of ikbkap protein to 1-cell stage zebrafish *** phenotype in the ENS was analysed by antibody staining of the pan-neuronal marker Hu C/D followed by enteric neuron *** mean numbers of enteric neurons were compared between the morphant and the *** also studied the expressions of ret and phox2bb,which are involved in ENS development,in the ikbkap morpholino injected embryos by quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction and compared them with the ***:We observed aganglionosis(χ2,P<0.01)and a reduced number of enteric neurons(38.8±9.9 vs50.2±17.3,P<0.05)in the zebrafish embryos injected with ikbkap translation-blocking morpholino(morphant)when compared with the control *** of the morpholino was confirmed by similar results obtained using a second non-overlapping morpholino that blocked the translation of *** further studied the morphant by analysing the expression levels of genes involved in ENS development such as ret,phox2bb and sox10,and found that phox2bb,the ortholog of human PHOX2B,was significantly down-regulated(0.51±0.15 vs 1.00±0,P<0.05).Although we also observed a reduction in theexpression of ret,the difference was not ***:Loss of IKBKAP contributed to HSCR as demonstrated by functional analysis in zebrafish embryos.
