A pseudoclassical theory for the wavepacket dynamics of the kicked rotor model

In this study, we propose a generalized pseudoclassical theory for the kicked rotor model in an attempt to discern the footprints of the classical dynamics in the deep quantum regime. Compared with the previous pseudoclassical theory that applies only in the neighborhoods of the lowest two quantum resonances, the proposed theory is applicable in the neighborhoods of all quantum resonances in principle by considering the quantum effect of the free rotation at a quantum resonance. In particular, it is confirmed by simulations that the quantum wavepacket dynamics can be successfully forecasted based on the generalized pseudoclassical dynamics, offering an intriguing example where it is feasible to bridge the dynamics in the deep quantum regime to the classical dynamics. The application of the generalized pseudoclassical theory to the PT-symmetric kicked rotor is also discussed.

We study the above-threshold ionization(ATI)process of atoms exposed to fundamental and high-frequency lasers with arbitrary ellipticity by applying the frequency-domain *** is found that the angular-resolved ATI spectrum is sensitive to ellipticities of two lasers and emitted angles of the *** for the photon energy of the highfrequency laser more than atomic ionization potential,the width of plateau tends to a constant with increasing ellipticity of fundamental field,the dip structure disappears with increasing ellipticity of the high-frequency *** the help of the quantum channel analysis,it is shown that the angular distribution depends mainly on the ellipticity of high-frequency field in the case that its frequency is ***,one can see that the maximal and minimal energies in quantum numerical results are in good agreement with the classical *** investigation may provide theoretical support for experimental research on polarization control of ionization in elliptically polarized two-color laser fields.

Motivated by the recent discovery of high-temperature superconductivity in bilayer La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7) under pressure,we study its electronic properties and superconductivity due to strong electron *** the inversion symmetry,we decouple the low-energy electronic structure into block-diagonal symmetric and antisymmetric *** is found that the antisymmetric sector can be reduced to a one-band system near half filling,while the symmetric bands occupied by about two electrons are heavily overdoped *** the strong coupling mean field theory,we obtain strong superconducting pairing with B_(1g)symmetry in the antisymmetric *** propose that due to the spin-orbital exchange coupling between the two sectors,B_(1g)pairing is induced in the symmetric bands,which in turn boosts the pairing gap in the antisymmetric band and enhances the high-temperature superconductivity with a congruent d-wave symmetry in pressurized La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7).

Within the framework of nonrelativistic-QCD factorization,we calculate both the next-to-leading-order relativistic and QCD corrections to prompt J/ψpair production,with feed-down fromψ(2S)mesons,via photon-photon collisions at future e^(+)e^(−)colliders,including the Future Circular Lepton Collider(FCC-ee),the Circular Electron Positron Collider(CEPC),and the Compact Linear Collider(CLIC).We present total cross sections and distributions in single J/ψtransverse momentum and rapidity,as well as in J/ψpair invariant *** relativistic and QCD corrections both turn out to be large and ***,the production rates are large enough for useful experimental studies.

The spin-orbit assisted Mott insulator α-RuCl3is a prime candidate for material realization of the Kitaev quantum spin *** little attention has been paid to charge degrees of freedom, charge effects, such as electric polarization, may arise in this system. Here, we report distortion-induced local electric polarization in α-RuCl3as evidenced by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,second harmonic generation（SHG） and dielectric measurements. The SHG signal appears at room temperature and develops substantially in the Kitaev paramagnetic state when short-range spin correlations come into play. Despite sizable pyroelectric currents in the Kitaev paramagnetic state, the absence of hysteresis in the polarization-electric field（P-E） points to the shortrange nature of electric polarization. This localized electric polarization is likely the result of distortion-induced charge dimerization, achieved through virtual hopping-induced charge redistribution. In addition, the electric polarization is boosted by short-range spin correlations via spin-phonon coupling in the Kitaev paramagnetic state. Our results emphasize the importance of charge degrees of freedom in α-RuCl3, which establish a novel platform to investigate charge effects in Kitaev materials.

Using the unrestricted Hartree-Fock variational method, we study the extended Hubbard model in the triangular lattice at 3/4 filling. Due to the nesting instability of the Fermi surface, various density wave states compatible with the 2 × 2 supercell are found as the ground state by tuning the onsite and nearest neighbor repulsions U and V. Surprisingly, the flux phases with complex bond order parameters are realized in a wide range of the U-V phase diagram. They also acquire nontrivial topological properties due to the spontaneous breaking of the time-reversal symmetry. Our study suggests that the flux phases can be stabilized by the interplay between short-range repulsive interactions in correlated electron systems.

A new type of polarization sensitive interferometer is proposed,named the Delta interferometer,inspired by its geometry resembling the Greek letter *** main difference between the Delta interferometer and other existing interferometers,such as Michelson,Mach-Zehnder and Young's double-slit interferometers,is that the two interfering paths are asymmetrical in the Delta *** visibility of the first-order interference pattern observed in the Delta interferometer is dependent on the polarization of the incidental *** coherence theory is employed to interpret this phenomenon and single-mode continuous-wave laser light is employed to verify the theoretical *** theoretical and experimental results are *** Delta interferometer is a perfect tool to study the reflection of electromagnetic fields in different polarizations and may find applications in polarization-sensitive scenarios.

The realization of quantum storage of spatial light field is of great significance to the construction of high-dimensional quantum *** this paper,we experimentally realize the storage and retrieval of circular Airy beams(CABs)by using theΛ-type three-level energy system based on the electromagnetically induced transparency in a hot rubidium atomic vapor *** weak probe beam field is modulated with phase distribution of CABs by a spatial light *** store the probe circular Airy beam(CAB)into the rubidium atomic vapor cell and retrieve it after the demanded *** quantitatively analyze the storage results and give corresponding theoretical ***,we investigate the autofocusing and self-healing effect of the retrieved CAB,which indicates that the properties and beam shape of CAB maintain well after *** work will have potential applications in the storage of high-dimensional quantum information,and is also useful for improving the channel capacities of quantum internet.

Moirésuperlattices,arising from the controlled twisting of van der Waals homostructures at specific angles,have emerged as a promising platform for quantum emission ***,the manipulation of strain provides a versatile strategy to finely adjust electronic band structures,enhance exciton luminescence efficiency,and establish a robust foundation for two-dimensional quantum light ***,the intricate interplay between strain and moirépotential remains partially ***,we introduce a meticulously designed fusion of strain engineering and the twisted 2L-WSe_(2)/2L-WSe_(2) homobilayers,resulting in the precise localization of moiré*** low-temperature photoluminescence spectroscopy,we unveil the emergence of highly localized moiré-enhanced emission,characterized by the presence of multiple distinct emission ***,our investigation demonstrates the effective regulation of moirépotential depths through strain engineering,with the potential depths of strained and unstrained regions differing by 91%.By combining both experimental and theoretical approaches,our study elucidates the complex relationship between strain and moirépotential,thereby opening avenues for generating strain-induced moiréexciton single-photon sources.
