Privacy-Preserving Federated Deep Learning Diagnostic Method for Multi-Stage Diseases

Diagnosing multi-stage diseases typically requires doctors to consider multiple data sources,including clinical symptoms,physical signs,biochemical test results,imaging findings,pathological examination data,and even genetic *** applying machine learning modeling to predict and diagnose multi-stage diseases,several challenges need to be ***,the model needs to handle multimodal data,as the data used by doctors for diagnosis includes image data,natural language data,and structured ***,privacy of patients’data needs to be protected,as these data contain the most sensitive and private ***,considering the practicality of the model,the computational requirements should not be too *** address these challenges,this paper proposes a privacy-preserving federated deep learning diagnostic method for multi-stage *** method improves the forward and backward propagation processes of deep neural network modeling algorithms and introduces a homomorphic encryption step to design a federated modeling algorithm without the need for an *** also utilizes dedicated integrated circuits to implement the hardware Paillier algorithm,providing accelerated support for homomorphic encryption in ***,this paper designs and conducts experiments to evaluate the proposed *** experimental results show that in privacy-preserving federated deep learning diagnostic modeling,the method in this paper achieves the same modeling performance as ordinary modeling without privacy protection,and has higher modeling speed compared to similar algorithms.

Gbps key rate passive-state-preparation continuous-variable quantum key distribution within an access-network area

The conventional Gaussian-modulated coherent-state quantum key distribution(QKD) protocol requires the sender to perform active modulations based on a true random number generator. Compared with it, the passive-state-preparation(PSP) continuous-variable quantum key distribution(CVQKD) equivalently performs modulations passively by exploring the intrinsic field fluctuations of a thermal source, which offers the prospect of chip integration QKD with low cost. In this paper, we propose and experimentally demonstrate a high-rate PSP-CVQKD scheme within an access-network area using high-bandwidth detectors in a continuous wave encoding and decoding way. By proposing effective methods for suppressing the noises during the PSP process and polarization multiplexing to decrease the photon leakage noises, we realize the high-intensity local oscillator transmission, thereby achieving coherent detection with high efficiency, low noise, and high bandwidth. The secure key rates over transmission distance of 5.005 km with and without consideration of the finite-size effect are 273.25 Mbps and 1.09 Gbps. The use of the PSP method boosts the asymptotic secret key rate of CVQKD to Gbps level for the first time, to our knowledge, within the range of the access network, which provides an effective and secure key distribution strategy for high-speed quantum cryptography access communication.

Optical multipath self-interference cancellation for a wideband in-band full-duplex system using a silicon photonic modulator chip

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a photonic method for wideband multipath self-interference cancellation using a silicon photonic modulator *** chip generates phase-inverted reference signals by leveraging the opposite phase between optical *** managing amplitude and phase imbalances between self-interference and reference signals,the approach rectifies discrepancies through consistent chip manufacturing and packaging *** photonic multi-dimensional multiplexing,including wavelength and polarization,enables the acquisition of multiple reference *** results show multipath cancellation depths of 25.53 dB and 23.81 dB for bandwidths of 500 MHz and 1 GHz,achieved by superimposing 2-path reference signals.

Amorphous BaTiO3 Electron Transport Layer for Thermal Equilibrium-Governed γ-CsPbI3 Perovskite Solar Cell with High Power Conversion Efficiency of 19.96%

Compared to organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites,the cesium-based allinorganic lead halide perovskite （CsPbI3） is a promising light absorber for perovskite solar cells owing to its higher resistance to thermal ***,additional research is required to reduce the nonradiative recombination to realize the full potential of ***,the diffusion of Cs ions participating in ion exchange is proposed to be an important factor responsible for the bulk defects in γ-*** based on first-principles density functional theory reveal that the [PbI6]4-octahedral tilt modifies the perovskite crystallographic properties in γ-CsPbI3,leading to alterations in its bandgap and crystal *** addition,by substituting amorphous barium titanium oxide （a-BaTiO3） for TiO2as the electron transport layer,interfacial defects caused by imperfect energy levels between the electron transport layer and perovskite are ***-resolution transmission electron microscopy and electron energy loss spectroscopy demonstrate that a-BaTiO3forms entirely as a single phase,as opposed to Ba-doped TiO2hybrid nanoclusters or separate domains of TiO2and ***,inorganic perovskite solar cells based on the a-BaTiO3electron transport layer achieved a power conversion efficiency of 19.96%.

Betulinic acid protects against ovarian impairment by decreasing F-2 toxin-induced oxidative stress and inflammation associated with the downregulation of p38 expression in mice

F-2 toxin is an estrogenic mycotoxin that causes reproductive disorders in *** acid(BA)is a natural pentacyclic lupane-structure triterpenoid that has diverse pharmacological *** this study,the antioxidative and anti-inflammatory effects of BA and its underlying mechanism are explored in F-2 toxin-triggered mouse ovarian *** found that BA alleviated the F-2 toxin-induced ovarian impairment by stimulating follicle growth,reducing inflammatory cell infiltration,repairing damaged mitochondria and endoplasmic ***,BA not only reversed F-2 toxin-induced reduction of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH)levels in the serum,but also restrained the protein expression of the estrogen receptors a(ERa)and ERβ.Moreover,BA restored the balance of F-2 toxin-induced ovarian redox system ***,we found that 0.25 mg/kg BA played an anti-inflammatory role in the F-2 toxin-induced ovarian impairment by decreasing interleukin-1β(IL-1β).IL-6,and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)mRNA expression,as well as inhibiting p38 protein *** data demonstrated that BA exerts its protective effect on F-2 toxin-induced ovarian oxidative impairment and inflammation by inhibiting p38 expression,which implies a natural product-based medicine to ameliorate F-2 toxin-caused female reproductive toxicity and provides a detoxifying method for food contaminated by mycotoxin.

Perioperative complication incidence and risk factors for retroperitoneal neuroblastoma in children:analysis of 571 patients
