The continuous decrease of low-slope cropland resources caused by construction land crowding poses huge threat to regional sustainable development and food *** spectrum analysis of topographic and geomorphic features is considered as a digital terrain analysis method which reflects the macro-topographic features by using micro-topographic ***,pieces of studies have extended the concept of slope spectrum in the field of geoscience to construction land to explore its expansion law,while research on the slope trend of cropland from that perspective remains *** address the gap,in virtue of spatial analysis and geographically weighted regression(GWR)model,the cropland use change in the Yangtze River Basin(YRB)from 2000 to 2020 was analyzed and the driving factors were explored from the perspective of slope *** showed that the slope spectrum curves of cropland area-frequency in the YRB showed a first upward then a downward *** change curve of the slope spectrum of cropland in each province(municipality)exhibited various distribution *** analysis of morphological parameters of cropland slope spectrum revealed that the further down the YRB,the stronger the flattening characteristics,the more obvious the *** province experienced the greatest downhill cropland climbing(CLC)was Shannxi,while province experienced the highest uphill CLC was *** most common cropland use change type in the YRB was horizontal expansion *** factors affecting average cropland climbing index(ACCI)were quite stable in different periods,while population density(POP)changed from negative to positive during the study *** research is of practical significance for the rational utilization of cropland at the watershed scale.

Dimensional regulation in polyoxometalates is an effective strategy during the design and synthesis of polyoxometalates-based high proton conductors,but it is not available to ***,the precise regulation of dimensionality has been realized in an unprecedented gigantic molybdenum blue wheel family featuring pentagonal{(W)Mo5}motifs through optimizing the molar ratio of Mo/W,including[Gd_(2)Mo_(124)W_(14)O_(422)(H_(2)O)62]38-(0D-{Mo_(124)W_(14)},1),[Mo_(126)W_(14)O441(H_(2)O)51]^(70-)(1D-{Mo_(126)W_(14)}n,2),and[Mo_(124)W_(14)O_(430)(H_(2)O)50]60-(2D-{Mo_(124)W_(14)}n,3).Such important{(W)Mo5}structural motif brings new reactivity into gigantic Mo blue *** are different numbers and sites of{Mo2}defects in each wheel-shaped monomer in 1-3,which leads to the monomers of 2 and 3 to form 1D and 2D architectures via Mo-O-Mo covalent bonds driven by{Mo2}-mediated H_(2)O ligands substitution process,respectively,thus achieving the controllable dimensional *** expected,the proton conductivity of 3 is 10 times higher than that of 1 and 1.7 times higher than that of *** continuous proton hopping sites in 2D network are responsible for the enhanced proton conductivity with lower activation *** study highlights that this dimensional regulation approach remains great potential in preparing polyoxometalates-based high proton conductive materials.

Copper-induced formation of heterostructured Co_(3)O_(4)/CuO hollow nanospheres towards greatly enhanced lithium storage performance

We report a facile template-free fabrication of heterostructured Co_(3)O_(4)/CuO hollow nanospheres using pre-synthesized Co/Cu-glycerate as conformal *** introduction of copper nitrate in the solvothermal reaction system of glycerol/isopropanol/cobalt nitrate readily induces the conversion from solid Co-glycerate to hollow Co/Cu-glycerate nanospheres,and the effect of the Co/Cu atomic ratio on the structure evolution of the metal glycerates as well as their corresponding oxides were *** examined as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries,the well-defined Co_(3)O_(4)/CuO hollow nanospheres with Co/Cu molar ratio of 2.0 demonstrate excellent lithium storage performance,delivering a high reversible capacity of 930 mAh/g after 300 cycles at a current density of 0.5 A/g and a stable capacity of 650 mAh/g after 500 cycles even at a higher current density of 2.0 A/g,which are much better than their counterparts of bare CuO and Co_(3)O_(4).The enhanced lithium storage performance can be attributed to the synergistic effect of the CuO and Co_(3)O_(4)heterostructure with hollow spherical morphology,which greatly enhances the charge/electrolyte transfer and effectively buffers the volume changes upon lithiation/delithiation cycling.

Effect of CeO_(2) nanoparticle sizes on catalytic performances of sulfated CeO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst in NH_(3)-SCR reaction

The sulfated CeO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3) catalysts with different sizes of CeO_(2)nanoparticles were prepared by using pure H_2O or acetic acid solution as impregnation solvent, and the influence of sizes of CeO_(2) nanoparticles on the catalytic performances of the sulfated CeO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst was studied. The catalytic performance tests show that the sulfated CeO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst using acetic acid solution as impregnation solvent has better catalytic activity and the resistance to K+poisoning than the sulfated CeO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst using pure H_(2)O as impregnation solvent. The excellent catalytic performances can be ascribed to the smaller sizes of CeO_(2) nanoparticles in CeO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst using acetic acid solution, which results in larger amount of adsorbed sulfate species, surface acid sites, surface active oxygen species and excellent redox property. These features are helpful for improving the catalytic performances of sulfated CeO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3) catalyst using smaller amount of CeO_(2) to cut the costs.

Carbonate rock chemical weathering carbon sinks reduce the rate of increase of the atmospheric CO_(2) concentration and global warming. However, uncertainty still exists in the estimation results of carbonate rock chemical weathering carbon sink fluxes(CCSF), and the contributions of climate change and ecological restoration to the CCSF are not clear. To this end, we compiled published site data on ion concentrations in different watersheds in China and used a classical thermodynamic dissolution model to reassess the potential and spatial and temporal patterns of the CCSF in China from 1991 to 2020. We quantified the contributions of temperature(MAT), precipitation(MAP), evapotranspiration(ET), soil water(SM), and the normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI) to the CCSF. The results revealed that(1) China's CCSF was 22.76 t CO_(2)km^(-2)yr^(-1), which was higher than the global average(15.77 t CO_(2)km^(-2)yr^(-1)). The total carbonate rock chemical weathering carbon sink(CCS) was 4772.67×10^(4)t CO_(2), contributing 14.91% of the global CCS through a carbonate rock area of 252.98×10^(4)km^(-2).(2) China's CCSF decreased gradually from southeast to northwest, with values of 33.14, 12.93, and7.27 t CO_(2)km^(-2)yr^(-1)in the southern karst, Qinghai-Tibetan karst, and northern karst regions, respectively.(3) The overall CCSF in China exhibited an increasing trend from 1991 to 2020, with a rate of increase of 0.16 t CO_(2)km^(-2)yr^(-1).(4) The contributions of the MAP, MAT, ET, SM, and NDVI to the CCSF were 63.3%, 3.02%, 27.5%, 3.1%, and 3.05%, respectively. Among them, the increase in precipitation was the main contributor to the increase in the CCSF in China over the last 30 years, while the enhancement of ET offset part of the positive contribution of the increase in precipitation to the CCSF. Genetic landscape and clinical significance of cuproptosis-related genes in liver hepatocellular carcinoma

Recently,Peter et al reported a novel form of cell death(cuproptosis)that was different from other known death mechanisms.1 They found that accumulation of copper ions could induce destabilization of Fe-S cluster proteins and aggregation of mitochondrial lipoylated proteins,ultimately resulting in cuproptosis.1 of note,ten genes were identified as cuproptosis-related genes(CRGs)in copper ion-induced cell death,including PDHB,PDHA1,DLAT,DLD,LIPT1,LIAS,FDX1,CDKN2A,GLS,and MTF1.1 Since dysregulation of copper metabolism is involved in many cancers,cuproptosis and CRGs may play vital roles in cancer development and treatment.1.2 Herein,our pancancer analysis revealed the coordinated upregulation of 9 of 10 CRGs in human liver hepatocellular carcinoma(LIHC)across 33 solid tumors(Fig.S1A;Fig.1A),suggesting the distinct role of CRGs in *** then explored the genetic landscape,biological function,and clinical significance of CRGs in LIHC,and validated our bioinformatic findings by in vitro experiments and clinical *** detailed methods were described in the supplementary material.

Epistasis-aware genome-wide association studies provide insights into the efficient breeding of high-yield and high-quality rice

Marker-assisted selection(MAS)and genomic selection(GS)breeding have greatly improved the efficiency of rice *** to the influences of epistasis and gene pleiotropy,ensuring the actual breeding effect of MAS and GS is still a difficult challenge to *** this study,113 indica rice varieties(V)and their 565 testcross hybrids(TC)were used as the materials to investigate the genetic basis of 12 quality traits and nine agronomic *** original traits and general combining ability of the parents,as well as the original traits and midparent heterosis of TC,were subjected to genome-wide association *** total,381 primary significantly associated loci(SAL)and 1,759 secondary SALs that had epistatic interactions with these primary SALs were *** these loci,322 candidate genes located within or nearby the SALs were screened,204 of which were cloned genes.A total of 39 MAS molecular modules that are beneficial for trait improvement were identified by pyramiding the superior haplotypes of candidate genes and desirable epistatic alleles of the secondary *** the SALs were used to construct genetic networks,in which 91 pleiotropic loci were ***,we estimated the accuracy of genomic prediction in the parent V and TC by incorporating either no SALs,primary SALs,secondary SALs or epistatic effect SALs as *** the prediction accuracies of the four models were generally not significantly different in the TC dataset,the incorporation of primary SALs,secondary SALs,and epistatic effect SALs significantly improved the prediction accuracies of 5(26%),3(16%),and 11(58%)traits in the V dataset,*** results suggested that SALs and epistatic effect SALs identified based on an additive genotype can provide considerable predictive power for the parental *** also provide insights into the genetic basis of complex traits and valuable information for molecular breeding in rice.

We developed a magnetic solid-phase extraction method using Fe_(3)O_(4)@polydopamine(Fe_(3)O_(4)@PDA)as adsorbents,coupled with liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS),for the enrichment and quantification of trace matrine and oxymatrine pesticide residues in *** adsorbent was easily synthesized at room temperature with high yields(500 mg).We investigated and optimized several factors that influence the efficiency of the method,including matrix pH,adsorbent amount,adsorption time,type of elution solvent.
