Since the second half of 2023, China-US relations have entered a short cycle characterized by enhanced dialogue and exchanges while seeking stability and easing tensions. The summit meeting in San Francisco holds significant importance for establishing a phased objective for building stable, healthy, and sustainable ChinaUS relations. The future of China-US relations depends on whether the US can pragmatically determine its China policy and define reasonable boundaries for competition. In handling its relationship with the US, China must consider the general trend and effectively utilize short cycles.

On December 12,2023,Kenya celebrated its 60th anniversary of *** independence,Kenya’s political operations have long been characterized by tribal politics,and during the 2022 elections,United Democratic Alliance(UDA)presidential candidate William Samoei Ruto advocated a Hustler Movement with a platform focused on serving the interests of the *** Movement,with its policy orientation of responding to the concerns of the hustler(refer to those forced to squeeze out a meagre living on the margins of society comparing to people from Kenya’s big-name families),seeks to move electoral politics away from the previous competition at the tribal and regional levels,and to construct an issue-oriented mode of political operation,which has given a new meaning to the development of Kenyan *** became president in September 2022 after the Hustler Movement gained broad social *** the past years,the Ruto government has transformed the Hustler Movement’s policy ideas into a program of governance,reshaping Kenya’s political development agenda in practical *** influence of the Hustler Movement has become more and more visible,deeply reflecting the trend of Kenya’s political development over the past 60 years of independence.

We investigate the equation of motion for photons with Weyl corrections in a Kerr black hole spacetime in a small coupling *** results show that Weyl corrections yield phenomena of *** light rays propagating in the spacetime are separated into the ordinary rays and the extraordinary rays,and the propagation of the latter depends on the *** probe the effects of Weyl corrections on the Kerr black hole shadows casted by the extraordinary rays and find that such corrections result in a weak stretching or squeezing in the vertical direction for the black hole ***,we also study the change of the length of the Near-Horizon Extremal Kerr line(NHEK line)with Weyl *** features could help us to understand the electrodynamics with Weyl corrections from black hole shadows.

The purpose of this work is to investigate the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions to the initial-boundary-value problem for a coupled system of an incompressible non-Newtonian fluid and the Vlasov equation. The coupling arises from the acceleration in the Vlasov equation and the drag force in the incompressible viscous non-Newtonian fluid with the stress tensor of a power-law structure for p≥11/5. The main idea of the existence analysis is to reformulate the coupled system by means of a so-∫called truncation function. The advantage of the new formulation is to control the external force term G =-∫Rd(u-v)fdv(d = 2, 3). The global existence of weak solutions to the reformulated system is shown by using the Faedo-Galerkin method and weak compactness techniques. We further prove the uniqueness of weak solutions to the considered system.

AIM:To compare the vergence mechanisms between good and poor sleepers in university ***:A total of 64 university students were recruited in this *** validated Malay version of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index questionnaire(PSQI-M)was used to measure the participants’sleep quality over the past *** were categorized as good sleepers(n=32)and poor sleepers(n=32)based on the PSQI-M *** and fusional vergences were measured at distance and ***-Whitney U test was used to compare heterophoria,negative fusional vergence(NFV),and positive fusional vergence(PFV)at distance and near between good and poor *** correlation analysis was used to study the relationship between PSQI-M score and PFV at ***:Both distance and near heterophorias were not significantly different between good and poor sleepers(P>0.05).There was a difference in distance PFV(P0.05).Distance PFV was negatively correlated with PSQI-M score(rs=-0.33,P<0.05).CONCLUSION:University students with poor sleep quality demonstrates a reduced ability to maintain fusion with increasing convergence demand at *** quality assessment during binocular vision examination in university students is recommended.

Complex networked systems,which range from biological systems in the natural world to infrastructure systems in the human-made world,can exhibit spontaneous recovery after a failure;for example,a brain may spontaneously return to normal after a seizure,and traffic flow can become smooth again after a *** studies on the spontaneous recovery of dynamical networks have been limited to undirected ***,most real-world networks are *** fill this gap,we build a model in which nodes may alternately fail and recover,and we develop a theoretical tool to analyze the recovery properties of directed dynamical *** find that the tool can accurately predict the final fraction of active nodes,and the prediction accuracy decreases as the fraction of bidirectional links in the network increases,which emphasizes the importance of directionality in network *** to different initial states,directed dynamical networks may show alternative stable states under the same control parameter,exhibiting hysteresis *** addition,for networks with finite sizes,the fraction of active nodes may jump back and forth between high and low states,mimicking repetitive failure-recovery *** findings could help clarify the system recovery mechanism and enable better design of networked systems with high resilience.
