A PD-Type State-dependent Riccati Equation With Iterative Learning Augmentation for Mechanical Systems

This work proposes a novel proportional-derivative(PD)-type state-dependent Riccati equation(SDRE)approach with iterative learning control(ILC)*** the one hand,the PD-type control gains could adopt many useful available criteria and tools of conventional PD *** the other hand,the SDRE adds nonlinear and optimality characteristics to the controller,i.e.,increasing the stability *** advantages with the ILC correction part deliver a precise control law with the capability of error reduction by *** SDRE provides a symmetric-positive-definite distributed nonlinear suboptimal gain K(x)for the control input law u=–R–1(x)BT(x)K(x)*** sub-blocks of the overall gain R–1(x)BT(x)K(x),are not necessarily symmetric positive definite.A new design is proposed to transform the optimal gain into two symmetric-positive-definite gains like PD-type controllers as u=–KSP(x)e–KSD(x)?.The new form allows us to analytically prove the stability of the proposed learning-based controller for mechanical systems;and presents guaranteed uniform boundedness in finite-time between learning *** symmetric PD-type controller is also developed for the state-dependent differential Riccati equation(SDDRE)to manipulate the final *** SDDRE expresses a differential equation with a final boundary condition,which imposes a constraint on time that could be used for finitetime ***,the availability of PD-type finite-time control is an asset for enhancing the conventional classical linear controllers with this *** learning rules benefit from the gradient descent method for both regulation and tracking *** of the advantages of this approach is a guaranteed-stability even from the first loop of learning.A mechanical manipulator,as an illustrative example,was simulated for both regulation and tracking *** experimental validation was done to show the capability of the system in practice by the implementation of the proposed metho

The hippocampus is involved in important brain functions such as learning and memory,spatial navigation,fear processing,and social behavior(Dudek et al,2016).The most prominent areas of the hippocampus are typically denoted as the dentate gyrus and the three areas of the cornu ammonis(CA1,CA2,and CA3).Discovered by Lorente de Nó(1934),the CA2 region of the hippocampus is a relatively small area interposed between CA3 and CA1 that forms the nexus linking the input of the entorhinal cortex to the output of CA1(Chevaleyre and Siegelbaum,2010).

Background:Estimating inbreeding,which is omnipresent and inevitable in livestock populations,is a primary goal for management and animal breeding especially for those interested in mitigating the negative consequences of *** coefficients have been historically estimated by using pedigree information;however,over the last decade,genome-base inbreeding coefficients have come to the forefront in this *** Pura Raza Espanola(PRE)horse is an autochthonous Spanish horse breed which has been recognised since *** total PRE population(344,718 horses)was used to estimate Classical(F),Ballou’s ancestral,Kalinowski’s ancestral,Kalinowski’s new and the ancestral history coefficient *** addition,genotypic data from a selected population of 805 PRE individuals was used to determine the individual inbreeding coefficient using SNP-by-SNP-based techniques(methods of moments-FHOM-,the diagonal elements of the genomic-FG-,and hybrid matrixes-FH-)and ROH measures(FRZ).The analyse of both pedigree and genomic based inbreeding coefficients in a large and robust population such as the PRE horse,with proven parenteral information for the last 40 years and a high degree of completeness(over 90%for the last 70 years)will allow us to understand PRE genetic variability better and the correlations between the estimations will give the data greater ***:The mean values of the pedigree-based inbreeding coefficients ranged from 0.01(F for the last 3 generations-F3-)to 0.44(ancestral history coefficient)and the mean values of genomic-based inbreeding coefficients varied from 0.05(FRZ for three generations,FH and FHOM)to 0.11(FRZ for nine generations).Significant correlations were also found between pedigree and genomic inbreeding values,which ranged between 0.58(F3 with FHOM)and 0.79(F with FRZ).In addition,the correlations between FRZ estimated for the last 20 generations and the pedigree-based inbreeding highlight the fact that fewer generations of

Aims: The present study aims to compare the assessment of work ability based on the use of the Work Ability Index (WAI) with another questionnaire base only on the use of WAI’s first item, termed as the “Work Ability Score” (WAS). Study design: A cohort of 384 Spanish workers included in a Post COVID-19 condition or persistent COVID-19 multicenter research was utilized. Place and Duration of Study: This cohort was enlisted in four hospitals (Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, Madrid;Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena, sevilla, Andalucía;Hospital Universitario Gregorio Marañón, Madrid and Complejo Asistencial Universitario de Salamanca, Castilla y León), since 2021 until 2022. Methodology: 384 Spanish workers (176 men and 208 women;aged 20 to 70 years) with Post COVID-19 condition or persistent COVID-19 were included. descriptive analysis of primary scores was conducted. Given the non-normal distribution of data, the Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests were employed. Spearman and Kendall correlations were employed to assess the relationship between WAI and WAS, also used weighted Kappa to estimate the degree agreement between WAI and WAS. Logistic regression models were utilized to study determinants influencing WAI and WAS, categorized as poor or moderate. Results: WAI had an average score of 32.98 (SD = 10.28), whereas WAS had an average of 5.95 (SD = 2.77). Significant differences were observed in both WAI and WAS across the same variables. Strong and statistically significant correlations were evident between WAI and WAS (rs = 0.83, p del (gender, the sector employment, and previous chronic diseases) were statistically significant in both questionnaires. Conclusion: WAS questionnaire could be used as a tool for reliable assessment of work ability among Spanish workers with Post COVID-19 condition or Persistent CO-VID-19.

Long-Term Effect of Organic and Mineral Fertilization on Soil Physical Properties Under Greenhouse and Outdoor Management Practices

To evaluate the use of organic amendments as an alternative to conventional fertilization,a 10-year experiment on a loam soil was conducted under a crop rotation system in both greenhouse and outdoor plots applied with chemical fertilizers (NPK) and vegetal compost (organic fertilizer) in the Guadalquivir River Valley,*** effect of these two different fertilization regimes on the soil physical properties was *** organic carbon (OC),soil bulk density (BD),soil water retention (WR),available water content (AWC),aggregate stability (AS),and soil physical quality (dexter's index,S) were *** use of organic fertilizer increased OC and resulted in a significant increase in AS and a decrease in BD compared to the mineral fertilizer application in both greenhouse and outdoor *** outdoor plots showed the lowest BD values whereas the greenhouse plots showed the highest AS *** the last years of the 10-year experiment the S parameter was significantly higher in organic fertilizer plots,especially for greenhouse *** the end of the study period,there were no significant differences in WR at field capacity (FC) between treatments in both systems;the AWC was also similar in the greenhouse plots but higher in the mineral outdoor *** mineral fertilizer treatments,a small improvement in the physical properties was also observed due to the utilization of less aggressive tillage compared with the previous intensive cropping *** soil properties were correlated with soil *** sustainable management techniques such as the use of organic amendments and low or no tillage improved soil physical properties,despite the differences in management that logically significantly affected the results.

This paper deals with the existence and uniqueness of mild solutions to neutral stochastic delay functional integro-differential equations perturbed by a fractional Brownian motion BH, with Hurst parameter H E （1/2, 1）. We use the theory of resolvent operators developed by R. Grimmer to show the existence of mild solutions. An example is provided to illustrate the results of this work.

Assuming that the external forces of the system are small enough, the reference temperature being a periodic function, we study the existence, the uniqueness and the regularity of time-periodic solutions for the Boussinesq equations in several classes of unbounded domains of Rn. Our analysis is based on the framework of weak-Lp spaces.

The phytohormone abscisic acid(ABA)regulates multiple physiological processes such as embryo morphogenesis,seed maturation and germination,leaf senescence,fruit ripening,and stress adaptation(Gupta et al.,2020).ABA levels quickly rise in response to conditions leading to water deficit,including the developmental processes of seed drying and dormancy,as well as early post-germinative growth(Chen et al.,2020).Several proteins,commonly regarded as the ABA signaling core components,have been identified.
