Acute pancreatitis is a common inflammatory condition affecting the pancreas,predominantly caused by gallstones,alcohol excess,and hypertriglyceridaemia,with severe disease carrying up to 50%*** significant research and preclinical promise,no targeted drug treatments exist for the disease and precision medicine approaches are lacking significantly,when compared to other health *** in omics applications will facilitate improved preclinical models and target identification as well as biomarker discovery for refined trial design,focusing on risk stratification,subject selection,and outcome *** treatment of Acute Pancreatitis with Infliximab:Double-blind,placebo-controlled,multi-centre trial(RAPID-I)is a pioneering trial,currently under way in acute pancreatitis,which may serve as an innovative model for the implementation of precision medicine strategies for acute pancreatitis in the future.

Food safety aspects not only require the absence of microbes, but also residues of therapeutics and contaminants are not allowed in meat for consumption. Health also benefits animal welfare in reducing illness and treatments and where possible vaccinations. Last but not least, healthy production lowers the cost price considerably.

Oxyfuel solutions deliver a unique combination of advantages in reheating and *** to improved thermal efficiency(about 80%compared with 40-60%for air-fuel),the heating rate and productivity are increased and less fuel is required to heat the product to the desired temperature,at the same time saving on CO and NO *** summary the results include:·Throughput capacity increase of up to 50%·Fuel savings of up to 50%·Reduction of CO emissions by up to 50%·Reduction of NO emissions·Reduction of scaling losses Since the beginning of the 1990s,Linde has been pioneering the use of oxyfuel in reheating and annealing furnaces and installed 120 of its REBOX oxyfuel solutions in rolling mills and forge shops around the world. Recently,most installations have employed flameless oxyfuel systems;today 30 such installations are running at a total of 15 production ***,the use of low calorific fuels has been emphasized lately,for example using blast furnace top *** paper discusses the technology employed and the excellent results achieved at these *** cases will be highlighted:·Use of REBOX HLL technology,which creates a type of flameless oxyfuel without replacing the existing air-fuel burners,for slab reheating in a 300 tph furnace at SSAB in Sweden.·The AIST Energy Achievement Award winning flameless oxyfuel installation in a rotary hearth furnace at the seamless tube mill of ArcelorMittal Shelby in the USA.·The new state-of-the-art annealing furnace for stainless steel wire applying REBOX DST(Direct Solution Treatment) at Dongbei Special Steel group in *** flameless combustion here uses a low calorific fuel with an energy content of 1.75 kWh/Nm(6.3 MJ/Nm).

The silicon pick-up of interstitial-free steel （IF steel） from resin bonded MgO-SiC refractories is studied via a medium frequency induction furnace. Samples of IF steel were heated in MgO-SiC crucibles with mould flux cover at 1 600 ℃ for 180 min. The silicon contents of IF steel samples taken from the molten steel in every 30 min were examined and the refractories after heating were investigated by electron probe microanalysis （EPMA） with energy dispersive spectrometer （EDS）. The silicon content of steel rapidly increased in the first 90 min of beating, and then decreased because of the formation of liquid layer on the refractory. Liquid layer separated the liquid steel from the bulk refractory and stopped the pick-up of silicon. At the same time, desilication via oxygen through the liquid layer and flux started to reduce the silicon content of the liquid steel

The high-speed simulation of large-scale offshore wind farms(OWFs) preserving the internal machine information has become a huge challenge due to the large wind turbine(WT) count and microsecond-range time step. Hence, it is undoable to investigate the internal node information of the OWF in the electro-magnetic transient(EMT) programs. To fill this gap,this paper presents an equivalent modeling method for largescale OWF, whose accuracy and efficiency are guaranteed by integrating the individual devices of permanent magnet synchronous generator(PMSG) based WT. The node-elimination algorithm is used while the internal machine information is recursively updated. Unlike the existing aggregation methods, the developed EMT model can reflect the characteristics of each WT under different wind speeds and WT parameters without modifying the codes. The access to each WT controller is preserved so that the time-varying dynamics of all the WTs could be simulated. Comparisons of the proposed model with the detailed model in PSCAD/EMTDC have shown very high precision and high efficiency. The proposed modeling procedures can be used as reference for other types of WTs once the structures and parameters are given.

Gray cast irons were inoculated with FeSi75＋RE and FeSi75＋Sr inoculants. The changes of apex angle of the drills before and after being used were used to evaluate machinability of gray cast irons. Effect of FeSi75＋RE and FeSi75＋Sr inoculants on mechanical properties, machinability and sensibility of gray cast iron used in cylinder block were investigated. Experimental results showed that gray cast iron treated with 60%FeSi75＋40% RE inoculants exhibited tensile strength consistently at about 295 MPa along with good hardness and improved metallurgical quality. While gray cast iron inoculated with 20%FeSi75＋80% Sr inoculants exhibited the best machinability, the lowest cross-section sensibility and the least microhardness difference. The tool flank wear of the drill increased correspondingly with the increase of the microhardness difference of the matrix, indicating the great effect of homogeneity of the matrix on the machinability of gray cast iron.
