A low redox potential and long life organic anode material for sodium-ion batteries

Sodium-ion batteries （SIBs） with organic electrodes are an emerging research direction due to the sustainability of organic materials based on elements like C,H,O,and sodium ***,organic electrode materials for SIBs are mainly used as cathodes because of their relatively high redox potentials（>1 V）.Organic electrodes with low redox potential that can be used as anode are ***,a novel organic anode material （tetrasodium 1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxylate,Na4TDC） has been developed with low redox potential （<0.7 V） and excellent cyclic *** three-sodium storage mechanism was demonstrated with various in-situ/ex-situ spectroscopy and theoretical calculations,showing a high capacity of 208 mAh/g and an average decay rate of merely 0.022%per ***,the Na4TDC-hard carbon composite can further acquire improved capacity and cycling stability for 1200 cycles even with a high mass loading of up to 20 mg *** pairing with a thick Na3V2（PO4）3cathode (20.6 mg cm-2),the as-fabricated full cell exhibited high operating voltage （2.8 V）,excellent rate performance and cycling stability with a high capacity retention of 88.7% after 200 cycles,well highlighting the Na4TDC anode material for SIBs.

A variation pixels identification method was proposed aiming at depressing the effect of variation pixels, which dilates the theoretical hyperspectral data simplex and misguides volume evaluation of the simplex. With integration of both spatial and spectral information, this method quantitatively defines a variation index for every pixel. The variation index is proportional to pixels local entropy but inversely proportional to pixels kernel spatial attraction. The number of pixels removed was modulated by an artificial threshold factor α. Two real hyperspectral data sets were employed to examine the endmember extraction results. The reconstruction errors of preprocessing data as opposed to the result of original data were compared. The experimental results show that the number of distinct endmembers extracted has increased and the reconstruction error is greatly reduced. 100% is an optional value for the threshold factor α when dealing with no prior knowledge hyperspectral data.

This paper investigates the global synchronization in an array of linearly coupled neural networks with constant and delayed coupling. By a simple combination of adaptive control and linear feedback with the updated laws, some sufficient conditions are derived for global synchronization of the coupled neural networks. The coupling configuration matrix is assumed to be asymmetric, which is more coincident with the realistic network. It is shown that the approaches developed here extend and improve the earlier works. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

Juels and Sudan proposed in 2002 an algorithm for computing a fuzzy vault that binds a user’s biometric template with his *** was suggested that this vault could be used to securely store one’s secret or a cryptographic key without losing his biometric ***,in this classical fuzzy vault,if an attacker captures multiple vaults generated from one biometric template,he is able to obtain some biometric template information by cross-matching,and then he can use it to illegally recover the secret *** overcome this disadvantage,in this paper,a cancelable fuzzy vault algorithm is proposed based on the user’s transformed fingerprint features which are used to generate a fuzzy *** novel fuzzy vault is secure and can overcome the cross-matching attack without intensive computational ***,the use of three check values makes our vault have a much higher probability to detect a false query fingerprint template than some other vault versions,and it will highly improve the probability whether the reconstructed polynomial is correct or not.

This paper focuses on sliding mode control problems for a class of nonlinear neutral systems with time-varying delays. An integral sliding surface is firstly constructed. Then it finds a useful criteria to guarantee the global stability for the nonlinear neutral systems with time-varying delays in the specified switching surface, whose condition is formulated as linear matrix inequality. The synthesized sliding mode controller guarantees the reachability of the specified sliding surface. Finally, a numerical simulation validates the effectiveness and *** of the proposed technique.

The high frequency gravitational waves （around lOS-lO12 Hz） could interact with a specially designed electro- magnetic resonance system. It is found that the power of transverse perturbative photon flux （PPF） of an electromagnetic resonance system can be improved significantly by virtue of an astigmatic Caussian beam. Cor- respondingly the signal-to-noise ratio （SNR） would also be improved. When the eccentric ratio of waist satisfying w0x ： w0y 〉 1, the peak value of signal photon flux could be raised by 2-4 times with typical systematic parameters, while the background photon flux would be depressed. Therefore, the ratio of transverse PPF to background photon flux （i.e., SNR） can be further improved 3-8 times with dimensionless amplitude of relic gravitational wave ht = 10-36.

By exploiting thvorable characteristics of a uniIbrm cross-array, a passive localization algorithm of narrowband sources in the spherical coordinates （azimuth, elevation and range） is proposed. Based on the properly chosen sensor outputs, we compute the third-order cyclic moment matrices, and exploit a pre-calibration technique to eliminate multiplicative noise. Then, we construct a parallel factor （PARAFAC） model, and adopt trilinear altemating least squares regression （TALS） to estimate three-dimensional （3-D） near-field parameters. The investigated algorithm is efficient in the sense that it can eliminate multiplicative noise and additive noise, provide the improved estimation accuracy, as well as avoid the parameter-pairing procedure. Simulation results are carried out to demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm.
