Process and performance of DAAF microspheres prepared by continuous integration from synthesis to spherical coating based on microfluidic system

In order to improve the energy output consistency of 3, 3’-diamino-4, 4’-azoxyfurazan(DAAF) in the new insensitive booster and the safety and efficiency in the preparation process, a continuous preparation system of DAAF from synthesis to spherical coating was designed and established in this paper, which combined ultrasonic micromixing reaction with microdroplet globular template. In the rapid micromixing stage, the microfluidic mixing technology with ultrasonic was used to synergistically strengthen the uniform and rapid mass transfer mixing reaction between raw materials to ensure the uniformity of DAAF particle nucleation-growth, and to prepare high-quality DAAF crystals with uniform structure and morphology and concentrated particle size distribution. In the microdroplet globular template stage, the microfluidic droplet technology was used to form a droplet globular template with uniform size under the shear action of the continuous phase of the dispersed phase solution containing DAAF particles and binder. The size of the droplet template was controlled by adjusting the flow rate ratio between the continuous phase and the dispersed phase. In the droplet globular template, with the diffusion of the solvent in the dispersed phase droplets, the binder precipitates to coat the DAAF into a ball, forming a DAAF microsphere with high sphericity, narrow particle size distribution and good monodispersity. The problem of discontinuity and DAAF particle suspension in the process was solved, and the coating theory under this process was studied. DAAF was coated with different binder formulations of fluororubber(F2604), nitrocellulose(NC) and NC/glycidyl azide polymer(GAP), and the process verification and evaluation of the system were carried out. The balling effects of large, medium and small droplet templates under different binder formulations were studied. Tropical cyclones(TCs),including tropical depressions and different categories of typhoons,hurricanes,and cyclonic storms,mostly originate over the oceans in the absence of direct ***,detailed monitoring and analysis of TCs has always been an unsolved *** the recent 20 years,great changes have taken place in domestic and foreign TC monitoring techniques,imposing a significant impact on TC operations and *** new technologies and products gradually emerge to support operations,with improved monitoring *** this paper,the progress on TC monitoring and analysis via meteorological satellites,radars,and airplanes in China and the world is reviewed,compared,and summarized,with special focuses on multisatellite fusion observations,in situ aircraft measurements,and some unconventional observation equipment such as rockets,saildrones,and underwater *** this basis,the paper points out future directions for improving TC monitoring and analysis in aid of better TC forecast and early warning.

Privacy-Preserving Federated Mobility Prediction with Compound Data and Model Perturbation Mechanism

Human mobility prediction is important for many ***,training an accurate mobility prediction model requires a large scale of human trajectories,where privacy issues become an important *** rising federated learning provides us with a promising solution to this problem,which enables mobile devices to collaboratively learn a shared prediction model while keeping all the training data on the device,decoupling the ability to do machine learning from the need to store the data in the ***,existing federated learningbased methods either do not provide privacy guarantees or have vulnerability in terms of privacy *** this paper,we combine the techniques of data perturbation and model perturbation mechanisms and propose a privacy-preserving mobility prediction algorithm,where we add noise to the transmitted model and the raw data collaboratively to protect user privacy and keep the mobility prediction *** experimental results show that our proposed method significantly outperforms the existing stateof-the-art mobility prediction method in terms of defensive performance against practical attacks while having comparable mobility prediction performance,demonstrating its effectiveness.

Thermal stability improvement and microstructure optimization of high cobalt content Nd-Fe-B magnets via terbium grain boundary diffusion

The substitution of Fe by Co in the 2:14:1 phase is an effective method to increase the Curie temperature and enhance the thermal stability of the Nd-Fe-B ***,the accumulation of Co ele ment at the grain boundaries(GBs) changes the GBs from nonmagnetic to ferromagnetic and causes the thinlayer GBs to become rare,In this paper,the method of diffusing Tb element was chosen to improve the microstructure and temperature stability of high-Co *** original sintered Nd_(28.5)Dy_(3)-CO_(x)e_(bal)M_(0.6)B_(i)(x=0,6 wt%,12 wt%;M = Cu,Al,Zr) magnets with different Co contents were diffused with Tb by grain boundary diffusion(GBD).After GBD,high-Co magnets exhibit more continuously distributed thin-layer GBs,and their thermal stability is significantly *** high-Co magnets(x=6 wt%),the absolute value of the temperature coefficient of coercivity decreases from 0.603%/K to0.508%/K in the temperature range of 293-413 K,that of remanence decreases from 0.099%/K to 0.091%/K,and the coercivity increases from 18.44 to 25.04 *** electron microscopy(TEM)characterization reveals that there are both the 1:2 phase and the amorphous phase in the high-Co magnet before and after GBD,EDS elemental analysis shows that Tb element is more likely to preferentially replace the rare earth elements in the 2:14:1 main phase than in the 1:2 phase and the amorphous *** concentration of Tb at the edge of the main phase is much higher than that in the 1:2phase and amorphous phase,which is beneficial to the improvement of the *** preferential replacement of Tb elements at the edge of the 2:14:1 phase and thin-layer GBs with a more continuous distribution are synergistically responsible for improving the thermal stability of high-Co *** study indicates that GBD is an effective method to improve the microstructure and thermal stability of high-Co magnets.

Barium titanate(BaTiO_(3))piezoelectric ceramics with triply periodic minimal surface(TPMS)structures have been frequently used in filters,engines,artificial bones,and other fields due to their high specific surface area,high thermal stability,and good heat ***,only a limited number of studies have analyzed the effect of various parameters,such as different wall thicknesses and porosities of TPMS structures,on ceramic electromechanical *** this study,we first employed vat photopolymerization(VPP)three-dimensional(3D)printing technology to fabricate high-performance BaTiO_(3) *** investigated the slurry composition design and forming process and designed a stepwise sintering postprocessing technique to achieve a density of 96.3%and a compressive strength of 250±25 MPa,with the piezoelectric coefficient(d_(33))reaching 263 pC/***,we explored the influence of three TPMS structures,namely,diamond,gyroid,and Schwarz P,on the piezoelectric and mechanical properties of BaTiO_(3) ceramics,with the gyroid structure identified as exhibiting optimal ***,we examined the piezoelectric and mechanical properties of BaTiO_(3) ceramics with the gyroid structure of varying wall thicknesses and porosities,thus enabling the modulation of ceramic electromechanical performance.

Precisely designing atomic metal-nitrogen-carbon(M-N-C)catalysts with asymmetric diatomic configurations and studying their structure–activity relationships for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)are important for zinc-air batteries(ZABs).Herein,a dualatomic-site catalyst(DASC)with CoN_(3)S-MnN_(2)S_(2) configuration was prepared for the cathodes of *** with Co-N-C(Mn-free)and CoMn-N-C(S-free doping),CoMn-N/S-C exhibits excellent half-wave potential(0.883 V)and turnover frequency(1.54 e·s^(−1)·site^(−1)),surpassing most of the reported state-of-the-art Pt-free ORR *** CoMn-N/S-C-based ZABs achieve extremely high specific capacity(959 mAh·g^(−1))and good stability(350 h@5 mA·cm^(−2)).Density functional theory(DFT)calculation shows that the introduction of Mn and S can break the electron configuration symmetry of the original Co 3d orbital,lower the dband center of the Co site,and optimize the desorption behavior of*OH intermediate,thereby increasing the ORR activity.

A hierarchical enhanced data-driven battery pack capacity estimation framework for real-world operating conditions with fewer labeled data

Battery pack capacity estimation under real-world operating conditions is important for battery performance optimization and health management,contributing to the reliability and longevity of batterypowered ***,complex operating conditions,coupling cell-to-cell inconsistency,and limited labeled data pose great challenges to accurate and robust battery pack capacity *** address these issues,this paper proposes a hierarchical data-driven framework aimed at enhancing the training of machine learning models with fewer labeled *** traditional data-driven methods that lack interpretability,the hierarchical data-driven framework unveils the“mechanism”of the black box inside the data-driven framework by splitting the final estimation target into cell-level and pack-level intermediate targets.A generalized feature matrix is devised without requiring all cell voltages,significantly reducing the computational cost and memory *** generated intermediate target labels and the corresponding features are hierarchically employed to enhance the training of two machine learning models,effectively alleviating the difficulty of learning the relationship from all features due to fewer labeled data and addressing the dilemma of requiring extensive labeled data for accurate *** only 10%of degradation data,the proposed framework outperforms the state-of-the-art battery pack capacity estimation methods,achieving mean absolute percentage errors of 0.608%,0.601%,and 1.128%for three battery packs whose degradation load profiles represent real-world operating *** high accuracy,adaptability,and robustness indicate the potential in different application scenarios,which is promising for reducing laborious and expensive aging experiments at the pack level and facilitating the development of battery technology.

Coordinated Restoration Method for Electric Buses and Network Reconfigurations in Distribution Systems Under Extreme Events

Distribution systems are facing challenges in serving lifeline loads after extreme *** reconfiguration is a traditional and practical method for power supply restoration,which has strong but inflexible power transfer capabilities influenced by network *** failures of utility power under extreme events will further limit the efficiency of network *** buses(EBs)can be utilized to achieve power supply considering their discharging capabilities as mobile storage ***,the mobility of EBs and the influences of transport systems must be carefully considered to enhance the resilience of distribution *** and EBs are complementary in terms of recovery capabilities and location flexibility,and more important loads can be recovered by the coordination between EBs and network *** paper proposes a coordinated restoration method for EBs and reconfigurations considering the influences of transport *** post-disaster restoration problem is formulated as a bi-level model,in which the network topology is optimized in the upperlevel aiming at maximizing restoration loads through the main grid and EBs,while the traffic paths of all EBs are optimized with the goal of maximizing the restoration loads by the EBs in the lower-level considering time consumption and energy consumption during *** PSO and a genetic algorithm are used to solve the proposed bi-level optimization *** studies are performed to verify the superiority of the proposed method.

Machine learning for carbonate formation drilling: Mud loss prediction using seismic attributes and mud loss records

Due to the complexity and variability of carbonate formation leakage zones, lost circulation prediction and control is one of the major challenges of carbonate drilling. It raises well-control risks and production expenses. This research utilizes the H oilfield as an example, employs seismic features to analyze mud loss prediction, and produces a complete set of pre-drilling mud loss prediction solutions. Firstly, 16seismic attributes are calculated based on the post-stack seismic data, and the mud loss rate per unit footage is specified. The sample set is constructed by extracting each attribute from the seismic trace surrounding 15 typical wells, with a ratio of 8:2 between the training set and the test set. With the calibration results for mud loss rate per unit footage, the nonlinear mapping relationship between seismic attributes and mud loss rate per unit size is established using the mixed density network ***, the influence of the number of sub-Gausses and the uncertainty coefficient on the model's prediction is evaluated. Finally, the model is used in conjunction with downhole drilling conditions to assess the risk of mud loss in various layers and along the wellbore trajectory. The study demonstrates that the mean relative errors of the model for training data and test data are 6.9% and 7.5%, respectively, and that R2is 90% and 88%, respectively, for training data and test data. The accuracy and efficacy of mud loss prediction may be greatly enhanced by combining 16 seismic attributes with the mud loss rate per unit footage and applying machine learning methods. The mud loss prediction model based on the MDN model can not only predict the mud loss rate but also objectively evaluate the prediction based on the quality of the data and the model.
